We are in charge of our health and we need to do research of our own, because most doctors are motivated by bonuses and kickbacks from big pharma and they do not have our best interest at heart. The best PCP is a general practitioner and make sure you choose an MD. as your PCP, not a nurse practitioner. An internist is a second best, but usually they are the ones who do not listen to us and think they know best. You are the one living in your body, you know what is going on, only you know how you feel, with all the poisons and toxins in our air, water, food and everything around us we are overloaded with plastics, preservatives, fake colors and fake flavors, and glyphosate and GMO's and drugs in our water, we are sicker than ever because our bodies were never meant to live in such a toxic environment, so they are fighting us and begging for help, side effects are YOUR BODIES PLEADING you for HELP. Doctors no longer know how to help us, and to them- the sicker we are and the more drugs they can prescribe- the better and more money in their fat wallets. You are in charge of your body and every pill and every treatment is YOUR decision, no one elses. YOURS. You do more research for a mechanic for your car than you do when you choose a doctor. Please do more research and if you don't feel heard, if you don't feel like your doctor is giving you the attention you deserve find another one. Believe it or not, your insurance has more doctors and PCP's than one or two, you do have choices. They need to learn that if they don't start treating us with dignity and respect we will dump them. We used to have nice small private clinics and these doctors used to care about their patients returning, because its like running your own business, you need people to like you, to want to come back. These huge corporation (network) doctors could care less, and even if you do find a nice doctor their hands are tied with the network rules, never more than 15 min per patient and most of it you spend with an assistant. The doctor comes in for 2 or 3 min and leaves. Mostly never answering your questions or listening to everything that is happening to you. because the network (a bunch of office bureaucrats) made a schedule for ALL the doctors to treat us like an assembly line at the factory. They treat us like cattle, and I am NO Cattle, ARE YOU? Lets stand up for ourselves and change doctors who do not treat us as human beings with dignity and kindness.

He's kind and genuinely cares about his patient's wellbeing. Everyone in his office is personable and caring as well. He explains things in a way you can understand what the problem is, without being condescending at all. My insurance plan will be changing at the end of this year (and I will no longer be covered to see him), and his office was able to squeeze me in to see him before my current insurance ran out. He was very helpful recommending a good doctor that he trusts who will take our insurance for a procedure I'll need, and said to still call the office if I had any questions.

I had a surgery scheduled to get some routine work done on my foot, so I voluntarily decided to…read morehave a cardiology check up done. My surgeon did not tell me one was required, I was doing it on my own. The problems with Dr. Wadas started when the first thing she requested was that I wear a halter monitor, which was very unnecessary. She had not even finished reading my chart yet. She was also trying to pass me off to a specialist, which was also very unnecessary. I have seen a lot of cardiologists in my life, and none of them were specialists, and they all felt qualified to take care of me (as a side note, I had a mild birth defect on my heart when I was born, but it was fixed, and I was given a clean bill of health, and told that my heart wouldn't cause any more problems than a normal heart in my life). The problem then continued when I informed Dr. Wadas that I was not going to see a specialist, both her and one of her nurses named Mary became very hostile and aggressive towards me. Dr. Wadas and I eventually agreed that I would see a specialist after my surgery, which I was actually planning on doing. The next day, Dr. Wadas sent letters to my surgeon and the hospital my surgery was scheduled at, and told them that I was not cleared for surgery (remember that I was told that I did not need cardio clearance), even though I was administered 2 tests which showed no anomalies. She was simply not clearing me because I "refused to see a specialist". Because she did this, my surgery ended up being cancelled, which ruined a lot of people's schedules who said they would help. In my opinion, Dr. Wadas is incompetent, has terrible bedside manner, and is very aggressive against her patients when they do not agree with her, and apparently seeks revenge if she does not get her way. I would not recommend that anyone see her for any reason.
