We live nearby and have been coming to Broudy's on and off for several years. However, the experience has only shifted from good to AWESOME in the past few years when we started getting to know George. Walking through the doors and seeing George's smiling face always brings us pleasure not only due to his personable demeanor and attitude, but because we know there's a good chance that we might get insight into a new bourbon or whiskey that we had not yet tried. Maybe a special shipment or unicorn on the shelf that we had not yet experienced. George is always ready to help, offer suggestions, and give us the best customer service possible. Others at the store are generally nice and friendly but can a couple of them can sometimes be a bit pushy or conversely abrupt and short in their responses and help. Whereas George never makes you feel like you are wasting his time or that he has something better to do. Additionally, the back tasting room (which we for some reason never knew about until about 6 months ago!) is being used more frequently which is great. On a recent Saturday we happened into the store in PVB and were thrilled to learn there was not 1 but 3 different tasting options in that room. What a great way to give customers the opportunity to try new things and maybe add to their purchase. Overall the best part of this Broudys is that it has a good selection, reasonable prices, and still maintains something of a "local joint" atmosphere and has not become too "corporate." Some items are extremely competitively priced while other's aren't but overall there's always something on special at a great value. Convenient drive-thru but I prefer to browse the aisles. My brother has been shopping at Broudy's for a while and whenever he finds a new beer that I end up loving, he always (9 times out of 10) got it at Broudy's. And one would think a liquor store might have a higher price on things that you could pick up at the grocery store (like Sam Adams Winter Sampler pack), but we compared prices - because we were curious - and they had the best prices in the area. The guys are knowledgable and this location gets beers & special releases that some of the other establishments aren't able to secure. They will recommend things for you to try based on what your palate prefers. My favorite thing was when they told my husband I was a keeper because the stouts he was picking up weren't for him, but for me. And for those that just don't have the time to go in & browse, they do have a drive through and will get you anything you need. read more

I was gonna give em 4 stars because parking is sometimes an issue but they have a drive thru, problem solved! These guys rock and they know liquor! Great selection of premium brands, beer and wine. Amazing customer service! Even though they were busy, I still was greeted and made to feel welcome into the store. I don't remember who helped me, but all of the guys there were great. They had a tasting table right up front, and even though I had to wait for them to pour me anything (like I said, they were busy!!) it was worth it. The guy who helped me was very sweet. They seemed knowledgeable, were very friendly, and I will be back! They have a large selection at a decent price, and like I said the customer service is worth it. Y'all rock! read more

If I could give these guys less than a single star, I'd do it. Prices are fine and the selection is acceptable, but if you're looking to feel like a respected customer when you leave, don't come here. I stopped by to buy a bottle for a party I'm hosting, get up to the counter, and all three attendees are talking about how bad Joe Biden is with some guy who stumbled in and was sticking around. I've been in politics all my life, but places of business aren't where those conversations should take place. Especially if the staff is participating. I called them out and asked them to be more professional. They laughed at me. read more

It's a great place especially if the drive through does not have many cars. But look out for the tall older gray haired lady that works there sometimes. She is mean as a snake and no help when asking about special liquors. All other employees are wonderful. Once I was in line at the drive-through and it was about five until eight on a Sunday night and she waved me off and the others behind me to close up. Horrible experience! An Older gentleman, with outdated tall white tube socks, was extremely rude to my friends and I. As soon as he opened the door, not even a hello or how ya doing. He immediately said "I'm gonna need to see 2 ID's" in a very rude harsh manner. After presenting them, since we are all 26 and older, we told him what we would like. He went in very quickly not even asking us what size bottle we wanted. Came back with a handle and a 5th, opened the door and said "which one" also very blunt and rude. He proceeded to ring us up inside, bring everything to the car, and tell us it was $26. I handed him 2 cards, and asked him to split it. He responded "so what you want like $10 on one, and the rest on the other?" No, I want half and half, that's what splitting means. So I said no, whatever half it. Cause obviously if you went to elementary school, anyone can tell you half of $26 is $13. However, he said ok and went inside to process the transaction. He came back out , I looked at the charges and saw he charged one card $10, and the other $16. I looked at him and said "what, you couldn't split it?". And then he wanted to try to be nice and say "oh I'm sorry sweetheart, I had already entered the amount when I realized". Really!? You think im that stupid?? Don't patronize me, and talk down to me like I am some ditzy idiot. No you didn't "accidentally ring up the wrong prices", you were being an asshole, and didn't care to split it even, or you are clearly an idiot, and don't know how to do basic math. I have been going to broudys for years, and have never been treated with such apparent disrespect and rudeness. My friends and I are 26 and 27 years old, and absolutely do not appreciate being treated like 16 year olds trying to get one over on the guy at the drive thru liquor store. I have provided this establishment with a lot of service over the years, but absolutely DO NOT PLAN ON GOING BACK. I refuse to waste my money to have someone disrespect me in that way. It is extremely convenient for me to go to broudys, considering I live right down the street, but I would rather go out of my way to beach Blvd, and go to ABC, than deal with that rude asshole again. Your staff clearly needs some lessons in customer service, or maybe even how to be a decent human being. read more
