If this increases my chances of winning the Florida Lotto yep it is sold, and is definitely worth $2.98 #chaching Also, got an authentic Thai Ice Tea and we made it at home and it tastes like the restaurant drink and comes in 23 bags and is just priced at $4.49. Sure beats getting those expensive Boba Tea drinks lol Parking was easy, though there are lots of construction from the stores nearby so stay alert and it is very clean and organized inside and the staff is there to assist with any items that you may be looking for from all over the globe :) read more

World Market was one of those stores I've passed many times and always wanted to go in but thought it was very expensive. Turns out the prices are not bad and you get a coupon just for signing up for the rewards program. My first trip I purchased a bathroom rug, an original greeting card, and lots of items from the International food aisle. I bought a few gifts as well. What a cool store! I spent more than an hour strolling up and down every aisle making sure I didn't miss anything. Can't wait to go back and see what new great finds they have in stock! read more

I was going to give this place four stars before it turned bad. I bought a tea steeper from Didi's and looking for stronger green tea during the day. Most shops that sold loose leafs were closed or far from southside. This place smelled great, you could smell the leather from the furniture, the bath accessories and somehow it smelled like Christmas. I learned all teas are 20% for a while. I stopped by the grocery area and found raw honey. At the checkout, I admired the Christmas ornaments. The cashier, Nadiyah offer me to sign up for the rewards program. Free, and she explained the details so worth the points. The directions to text and receive 15%off first purchase confused the cashier and manager. The manager snatches my phone then asked if she could see something and read through my personal text before I asked her what she was doing. I asked if she could just use a store code to proceed since this was my first time. She applied the code and again apologized for taking my phone. I was happy to get the discount, I love the store. Reminds me of a more adult American outfitters. 3/5 experience 4/5 store (some furniture pieces were over priced). read more

I love world market- just one of my fav's for shopping my eclectic taste. They have goodies from all over the world as implied- including foods. But I am usually there to browse the odd ball home decor. The Tibetan bell, the crystal bookends, the beautiful kitchen wares. I was looking for centerpiece ideas for my O'Neil sisters wedding next year and thought this might be a good place to look. I found a few ideas and will be hunting more as the holidays get closer! Checked the website for a specific Sangria, before driving half hour,said 9 bottles in stock. Arrived at the store, unable to locate it. A young man checked the computer and stated that it was there as well. We began to search when the manager? Said it wasn't there and the warehouse was out. She was very rude. At checkout she hovered us. When the cashier asked if we found everything okay, my husband politely explained we had not. She bagged our items and we were on our way!!! No explanation, nothing. Why ask if you are not offering resolution? Where is the customer service in this location gone???? I've been coming here for 3 years. I won't be back. There are so many things I really love about this store. 1) The prices are really reasonable, especially regarding furniture. In addition if you join their rewards program you get frequent coupons offering 10% off, 20% off etc. 2) They have a little of everything it seems. Great place to grab a rare bottle of wine, also a great place to grab pillows or a new dining room table. This store is sort of the jack of all trades when it comes to shopping. Everything has a bit of a foreign inspiration mixed with a modern flare. I really love their assortment of seasonal products and decor. I can thank my spring inspired dining decorations totally to them! Watch out though, if you walk aimlessly around this store for too long you will end up leaving with 20 things you never knew you needed. read more

There are two World Market locations in Jax, this one, and the one in Mandarin. I came to this one because it's located near other places I wanted to shop at. This location is not nearly as large as the Mandarin one and parking can be tricky as well. It's probably because it's close to the holidays but there was a lot of people and narrow aisle made it difficult to navigate around the store. They still had a good selection of unique and international items to choose from. I had no idea what I needed / wanted but had a $10 off $30 coupon from being a World Market Explorer rewards member that I wanted to use. I had no problem finding things to buy to meet that limit. If you're not a member, it's definitely worth your time to sign up. They make it easier to sign up now, you can text "JOIN200" to 95730 to be a member and get 15% off on your purchase. It says you have to spend $200 to get a $10 rewards but there's no way I spend to close that much and still get the $10 off $30 a few times a year. Although I prefer the convenience and larger size of the other location, I wouldn't hesitate to come back to this one since I found the staff to be friendlier. read more

One of my all time favorite places for assorted craft bottled beer! Really unique furniture pieces - last purchase was a beautiful daybed frame. Wide assortment of world-wide food, drink and candies/desserts! The location is primo in a smaller strip mall with plenty of parking (adjacent to the Target shopping center). I love this place some much to buy and good prices. The soaps, the oils to help with the smells at holes is really nice.

I could walk around in World Market all day; there is such a variety of items to peruse. I am an Explorers club member (free to join), and I buy coffee here on Wednesdays to get a double punch. That means I earn a free bag of coffee every 4th bag. The coffee is good too, although I am still in mourning for the Kauai Peaberry they discontinued two years ago...now I have to settle for Tanzanian. In addition to coffee, this is also a great place to buy beer and wine. They have some choices you can't find elsewhere at the beach. The international food section is worth checking out as well. I purchased a tall chest about a year ago, and I received good customer service with the selection, the pick up and the loading into my car. The cashiers are also friendly, and often open a new register if they notice you waiting. read more

World Market is one of those places I could walk around and find all sorts of stuff I "need". While the furniture isn't exactly my taste, I do find pieces from time to time that I love. Like right now, I'm in large with one of their dining banquettes. Not entirely sure it fits the space i have, but it's not in the budget right now, so I'll worry about that another day. I usually stop in for the coffee as they have some of the better mass market blends. If you join their loyalty program you can get points every time you buy coffee. I don't know if it's every Wednesday, but they'll e-mail you and you can get double points on coffee purchases. Yes, it all does add up to a free bag of coffee (I think 10 is the requirement, but I'll have to login to check my account). They offer plenty of other foodstuffs from around the world. And since it's pumpkin season - well, at least in the retail world - the Torani Pumpkin sauce is back on the shelves. We went through several bottles last year and I see that happening again this year. My husband likes to stop in for the wine tastings. From time to time they have a small selection available to taste. But when they go big, they can go all out. I think the last one we went to had five different stations and each station had four or five bottles to try. If you're looking for that specialty food item or something to finish off a room or even just a nice host gift, try World Market. It's like traveling with a passport without leaving the comfort of your own neighborhood. read more

I don't really understand the bad reviews of this place. It's a store, not a restaurant- who cares if they don't ask you your life story when you walk in? I can always find an associate if I really need helping finding something. Let's be real though, I only go there if I'm looking for a new bottle wine or a foreign beer for my man- which then leads to me purchasing too much unnecessary shit. Coffees, wine glasses or cooking utensils. Or olive oils. Or Italian candies. Or Indian Christmas ornaments. It never ends! Now I have been coming here for ever. I love it they carry so many things that I like. I like all the different plates, off the wall cooking stuff, the fancy knifes n forks that I have wanted since I first stopped in. One day I'm going to drop the bucket and get enough for six. So you can also find candies of the world. Some I saw in Germany, and even stuff we found in Jamaica. So I keep coming in from time to time to look around when I have some time to kill. I love World Market and recently chose to visit the closet location (an hour away) rather than ordering on line. I specifically was looking for a coffee table. Unfortunately, Karen (Marsh Landing manager) was less than helpful. I felt that she made an effort to dismiss my questions and avoid helping me. I very rarely complete a review unless it's positive - but the lack of professionalism and customer service displayed by a manager was inappropriate. However, an extremely helpful employee (Elizabeth) assisted me and was very patient, helpful and pleasant. I left the store and actually ordered two furniture items on line in the parking lot - I could have saved the time / trip. Hopefully my next experience will be better. read more

Very inflexible "customer is always wrong" attitude. I used to like this place but wow..no way am I going back. I wanted to exchange an item for which I had used my $10 off coupon that was earned through their rewards program. they didn't want to apply the coupon to the new item and the argument was that other customers don't complain about it. I said that this is horrible customer experience (you earn $10 off for every $100 you spend) and I told another customer that I'm very disappointed they won't let me use the coupon. The manager Mario started to yell at me that I'm lying and that he will apply some other discount ($4) in the end and threatening that he will give my name to corporate (should I be scared?). Overall, this was a terrible experience and I felt treated terribly when it could have been resolved way easier. I did get the $4 discount and i didn't get reported to corporate (whatever that was supposed to mean) but the experience was bad from my standpoint. What the manager did not get was that I wasn't bothered about the $10 or $4 but about the experience. Not going back there. I have to agree with Zornitsa's review about this World Market store. Horrible customer service... or lack thereof. There were more associates than customers and not one greeted us, asked us if we needed help, or said goodbye as we left (one was standing by the exit). Will never go back. Went yesterday for the first time in a while hoping I would find some imported French Macaron's but I didn't.... However I was very quickly distracted by all of the awesome Halloween goodies that they had, the items ranged from decorations to beers/wines all in theme for Halloween, to a huge array of candy that was all so very tempting yet a lot of the candy that they had I had seen at other specialty grocery chains and were cheaper then at World Market. They also had non alcoholic brews which were great bc one of the ones I tried was Halloween themed but was like a sparkling apple cider, so it would be great for kids, or you could even mix your favorite "poison" with it for a great adult Halloween kick! We even added some of the pop rocks that we bought and every one was having fun at that point! The wine selection is ok but if your a wine lover then this is not the place to get your wines, plus the staff yesterday was not knowledgeable at all when it came to the Wine! Overall it's a cute place, obviously not for your every day needs but nice. The staff was friendly, and if I ever need something original I'll be back! read more

If you can conjure a need for it, they probably carry it here! I love their plastic wine glasses that look like glass, and their tea bag holders, and cloth napkins. They truly carry everything you would need to be a successful host for any event, down to the drinks. They have some great sales going on from time to time, and carry a wonderful array of specialty foods, and linens. Every time my husband and I drive to the beach on the weekends we stroll the aisles. We are always stumbling upon something to add to our midcentury modern home decor/style. I snagged our beautiful couch here, cashmere candles, bathroom towels, rugs, and coffee scrubs. You can find anything and everything made from around the world in here. I love there it is eclectic and fun! Always very clean, and well organized! Their return policy is nice, and the associates always helpful and but could be a little happier.
