Mind you it was below zero and freezing outside, like one of those days you don't even want to leave the house. We went to the car to wait, I was frustrated at first but then began to worry. I tried to call her office but she only has a number to a call center. So there was no real way to contact her, I emailed. They emailed, nothing. My sister and I waited 40 minutes, each of us taking turns to run and try and see if the door had opened. We finally decided to leave. At 4:55 Valery called and left me a voicemail. She did not address that she had been 55 minutes late to contact me, she just stated that she's sorry, and thay door is open now and to come on up. I was beyond disappointed with the way my sister and I were treated. It seems concerning to me that she did not even have any way to get in touch with her. Following up to our email she did not provide any sort of explanation. Just saying that she is sorry for the inconvenience and to book another appointment online. The prices here are comparable to all of the spas and clinics in the metro. $350 for BBL, $600 - $1,000 for filler depending on if you need dysport, additional filler etc. I have sent so many people to Luminous You. My friend actually in the past year has spent thousands on treatments and fillers. She too said the way in which this business operates has gone downhill. That's too bad, I wish Valery well but after my experience I will chose to go elsewhere.

After a couple sessions with various clinicians, an excellent one explained to me that I should have been getting 2 rounds of treatment at each visit due to a condition I have. Since she discovered their error, she extended my 10-month period for several months at no cost, which I was very happy with. Overall, the clinicians were friendly, caring and seemed very competent. There was one clinician I had for 2 appointments, and she seemed less competent. During both appointments, I had to stop and explain that the other providers provided pressure to treated areas to help ease my pain throughout the procedure. Even after she seemed to understand, she did not execute it nearly as effectively. The pressure she applied was generally too light and she sometimes would apply it in the wrong spot. I'm sure my very strong reactions throughout the 2nd appointment made it challenging for her, but still I had a better experience with the others. I explained to her that my skin rarely had such a strong reaction and that the pain lingered, and then had to ask her for aloe and hydrocortisone - things the others graciously offered right away, regardless of my skin's reaction. After my first negative experience with this clinician, I made sure my next appointment was not with her and the following appointment was better/more normal. However, I had to reschedule my last appointment and could not see who the provider was when rescheduling, and so that is how I ended up with this clinician a second time. I'm finally done with my package, and am relieved, not because my hair is gone (it's not gone, after all that), but because of the challenging scheduling, the mix of very good and less competent clinicians, and intense pain during procedures.

As someone who is trying to simplify their life in many ways, I truly enjoyed visiting Brow Chic! I had my lashes tinted and lifted and also had my eyebrows tinted (by Beck). I experienced a warm welcome in their brightly lit, clean, new studio! My technician was ready and waiting for me with a smile on her face! She explained each process and gave me an idea of what to expect, which I found extremely pleasant. Everything was gentle and calming, including the environment during the service. I was SO pleased with the results, that I'll be booking appointments with Beck forever! My lashes look so full, dark, and curled! I have been going to Haley for a little over a year and I have always had a great experience. Not only is she good at her job, she also is easy to talk to which is a MUST for me. There is nothing I dread more than an appointment with awkward small talk. I will for sure be going to her for years to come! I get my eyebrows waxed and then tinted as well at around $40 which I think is a fair cost considering I only go about once a month or when I realize I need to!
