After having my bilateral arthroscopy just recently done by him, I literally feel like I got my life back and he's the one I owe it to. No longer feel like there's a cloud of pain over my head and I can actually enjoy my life! He knew I was in extremely severe TMJ pain when I first met him. For quite a bit of time, I was on 7 different pain meds ONLY for my jaw- those pills were how I got through my days. I was reassured that I was in good hands and promised me that his procedures are successful. Was truly so scared that my procedure would work but ended up putting my full trust in him to help me. Cherry on top- Dr.Friedman even promised (we shook on it) that he'll get me my favorite food after I heal from my surgery His quirky personality, humor, laughter, reassurance, and most importantly his extensive knowledge about TMJ made me feel extremely confident that I was in the best hands. Had no nerves or reservations when surgery day came around. Bedside manner is top notch and makes you feel like family. Just recently had my follow up appointment and Dr.Friedman only had words of encouragement of how good I'm doing. His entire team of staff are amazing- all of them have been so kind from the beginning. His staff made everything so easy, simple and effortless for me. Once inside you will find an immaculate and spacious dental office with one dentist, not with assistants just out of dental school. In addition to general dentistry, root canal and implant service is available. The equipment used is state of the art. As an example, if you need a crown there is no clay type mold used to take the impression. It is scanned for a precision fitting crown and emailed immediately to the laboratory for preparation. I was also asked to confirm with my previous dentist when I had my last set of full X-rays so they could run the information through insurance prior to my appointment and confirm what would be covered. I emailed the information to the address they provided the same day it was requested, but I never heard anything back afterward. When I arrived, I was asked if I had completed my forms online. I explained that I had not received anything or heard from the office since making the appointment over the phone. It wasn't a big deal, as they provided the forms for me to complete, but it did take about 5-10 minutes and I would have been happy to complete them beforehand if I had received them. Once I finished the paperwork, it was only a few minutes before I was called back. I went in the morning, and everything seemed to be running on time. Anthony was the RDH who did my X-rays and cleaning, and he was wonderful! He was so kind and patient and did a great job of explaining what he was doing throughout the visit. He was also very gentle during the cleaning. That's usually the worst part of dental visits for me, but he was so gentle that it was honestly not an unpleasant experience at all, which has not always been the case at other dental offices. I also met the dentist, Dr. D., who was very nice. He took his time looking through my images and didn't make me feel rushed. They also have technology that scans a digital mold of your teeth, which I thought was pretty cool. The office is surprisingly large. You wouldn't expect it to be from the outside since it's located in a plaza, but they have eight rooms plus additional rooms for their staff spaces. Everything was clean, and the staff seemed to communicate well with one another. It sounded like they may use a walkie-talkie type of system, as they communicated when the dentist was ready to come to my room and when I was ready to check out at the front. Overall, I had a really nice experience and am happy to have found this office. My husband actually found them first, and I'm glad I decided to give them a try. I plan to continue coming here!

She diagnosed the root cause of the pain, suggested two courses of treatment. I appreciate her straightforward explanation of the pros and cons of each approach. She recommended the less expensive path, a root canal and crown. She was able to perform the procedure the same day, ending the pain. Surprisingly, the permanent crown was available in the shortest time I have ever experienced compared to other dental practices and my installation appointment was moved forward. The permanent crown fits perfectly and the process was as pain free as possible. The support staff are also very professional and pleasant. I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Matamoros and her team. I will definitely utilize Dr. Matamoros and her team in the future.

He gave a much more detailed explanation of what work that I needed done, he did CT scan so I could see a 3D view of the work needed. I opted for IV sedation, I had 4 extractions, 5 cavities filled, 2 implants and deep root / teeth cleaning done in one session. His rate was very far and reasonable. His staff is very friendly, they evening and weekend hours. I even got great 0% interest from Care Credit to finance the difference of what our health insurance did not cover.
