Dr. Panahi is awesome, he should be called Dr. Painless! I needed extensive dental work done, I went to two other dentist for evaluation before I found Dr. Panahi. He gave a much more detailed explanation of what work that I needed done, he did CT scan so I could see a 3D view of the work needed. I opted for IV sedation, I had 4 extractions, 5 cavities filled, 2 implants and deep root / teeth cleaning done in one session. His rate was very far and reasonable. His staff is very friendly, they evening and weekend hours. I even got great 0% interest from Care Credit to finance the difference of what our health insurance did not cover. I am a former dental phobia person. I say former because the unbelievable care and treatment I've received at Dr. Panahi's office has been incredible! Went in for emergency care on Saturday was given pain meds and antibiotics dosages were increased the following Monday due to pain. The next Thursday I had my root canal done and the crown was made in the same office. It was a perfect fit no adjustments necessary. Been fine ever since and this was last December. Would highly recommend this office for their willingness to treat emergency cases at off hours and weekends. read more

This place is a rip-off. Get a second opinion!! This place quoted $20k for treatment plan - got a second opinion and now my treatment is $4k Went in for an emergency appoinment on Saturday 1/30/16 (regular doctor was out on vacation) was told I would get a treatment plan the following Wednesday and prescribed medication for pain. I called Monday 2/1 bc pain meds were not working - was told the doctor was still out on vacation and nothing could be done. Took the pain for the next two days, called again to get treatment plan - but was told it was taking longer due to my insurance. However, I don't have insurance. So obviously they were lying. Then I was told I would get the treatment plan that Thursday 2/4 and nothing. No one ever call/ follow up w me until yesterday 2/10. The treatment giving was for $20,000.00 - thankfully by this time I already went to another dentist that gave me a treatment plan for $4,000. I and a couple family members were patients of Dr Panahi's when his office was new to the area. His prices were expensive, and after getting second opinions some of the work quoted as needed was unnecessary. I had a "night guard" made here which later I found out was more of a biting piece a football player might wear, not a real night guard. Aside from this, there was always new help, none of the people in their picture work there anymore, I wonder why. My family and I value quality work, and proper diagnosis. BEST of the BEST and pain FREE! Just moved from NYC and was in need of a really GREAT dentist with broad knowledge and skills. Called Dr Panahi's office and the great staff understood my emergency - not knowing me - they still took me in rather quickly (next day) and it turned out that I needed immediate extraction and bone graft - 2 days later, work is done! Pain free!! I'm highly allergic to Lidocaine so shots won't do and the fact Dr Panahi was able to do sedation dentistry, was AMAZING, for me!!! What I also love about him and his staff - they handle almost everything - so you don't have to get farmed out to see this specialist or that specialist - he has a robust staff and awesome people that work with him and for him. Because of terrible fear of dentists, I needed a lot of work done. I also needed a dentist with sedation and was even more terrified after reading some reviews (think Steve Martin in Little Shop of Horrors) until I read about Dr. Panahi. This review is being written after all the work was done and follow up complete, but first impressions...the office is clean and smells like a spa rather than a dentist office. The front office staff and dental assistants are all extremely friendly and genuinely make you feel welcome. Dr. Panahi alleviated some of my fears in our first discussion, but it's hard to overcome a lifetime of terror. He is very easy to talk to and explains everything and answers all questions. The anesthesiologist also made me feel more secure in the procedures that were to take place. The end result, I couldn't be happier. I can finally smile naturally without hiding my teeth, and though I am still afraid of the dentist, I have confidence in this office. The dentist are great and the employees in the back are great. The front office "not so much". I had a problem with billing and tried to get a straight answer by email with their front office. Didn't get me anywhere so then I sent a certified letter to the dentist and he asked that I come in and speak face to face. I did. We were in the office managers office with the dentist and after he left the room the office manager stated "I had a choice to not have you come back because maybe we were not a good fit". I was shocked. I stated "I questioned you about over billing me and went to you boss because you were not giving me a straight answer and that means we are not a good fit because I called you on your mistake of over billing us instead of you trying to handle it?". So after I called Cigna who stated we should ask them for a "pre-authorization letter" so they couldnt over bill. I did this July 1st. On July 30th "30 days" I contacted the office and told them that Cigna had stated "no one had contacted them". The front desk then stated "well the office manager is on vacation so next week she will call you but she will be very busy coming back from vacation". I was shocked that this office runs like this. I sent my FINAL letter to the dentist but instead of dealing with his incompetent office and trying to fix the office, I just asked him for my records. If you want to live through rudeness and being over billed and disrespeted "this is your office". read more

I had a dental emergency on Saturday afternoon. My regular dentist could not be contacted so I found Dr. Panahi online when I did a search for emergency dentists. I called and was told to be at the office in a half an hour. I was already freaked out because I abhor dentists but Dr. Panahi changed my thoughts on that. He was very nice and caring and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. I am actually looking forward to my follow up appointment instead of trying to find a way out of it. The office staff was unwelcoming and gave short answers when asked anything. When they did try to explain my dental problems they made me feel as if I was unaware of them and made me feel stupid for it. I was also told over the phone that my dental INS was accepted and yet when I got there nothing was applied to it and I am now stuck with yet another bill to be paid that I was clearly not ready for. Upon leaving the office knowing I was to have another appt to complete the work started I was NEVER offered one and was told nothing about weather I was to call them or they would call me. Having no other option on my part but to go to them for a semi emergeny I will not be using them once my dental work from them is complete. I too work in medical field and if I ever treated any patient the way I was at this office we'd be out of bussiness in no time.
