Disgusted is too polite of a word to describe my experience here. This was my second appointment and I'm officially done. My first appointment was with Meghan, idk if it was the end of the day and she was tired but as I walked in she looked annoyed. I made an appointment so it's not like she didn't know I was coming, so what the attitude was for was beyond me. My brows are microshaded so I literally just needed a cleanup. I decided to brush it off and try this place again; this time I booked with Aliya. Lmao I should've stayed with Meghan. Aliya is the reason I've decided to not keep quiet because I have never seen such low quality service in my life and I've been getting my brows done for over 15 years. As I sat down, she gave me a tissue to wipe my face--a little thrown off--I wiped my brows thinking that was it. I naturally have oily skin so stretching my skin so she could thread was a little tricky because my fingers kept sliding, you could hear the annoyance in her voice telling me to stretch. Mind you, it took her less than 5min to complete my brows. The part that sent me over the edge was the ending, obviously it was not so happy. She asked if I wanted aloe, naturally I said yes. SHE HANDED ME THE COTTON WITH ALOE ON IT LMAO like I can't make this up. Never in the history of ever has any brow artist handed me the aloe to clean my own brows like what is the point of you then??? I'm not surprised the two times I've gone here-- it was completely empty, they obviously need to take customer service trainings---go to a customer service retreat, something! I made an appointment for brow mapping and tinting. I've never had this done before but specifically chose a place that had this option. Went in for my appointment. (I assumed, since you have to select what you want when you make the appointment, that they would know what each client would be having done. I WAS WRONG!) Was greeted, directed to a chair, and the lady, I believe, was Megan, and started threading my eyebrows. Since I'd never had brow mapping done before, I wasn't sure if this was part of what was supposed to happen or not. She plucked a few more out. And that was that. I had to ask her to tint them. By this time, I realized she had no idea what my appointment was for, and obviously, I'd figured out this was not how mapping was supposed to go. To say I was disappointed was an understatement. She did an ok job, I had to go home and even them out, they looked like cousins, and I had to make them more like sisters. If you book here, definitely speak up when you go in for what you booked. read more

Save your time and money! I was referred by someone to have my eyebrows done with Meghan. Big mistake! From the start I knew I should've walked out. She was not welcoming, she never introduced herself. I believe in giving people a chance because you never know what one may be going through. However, when you own a business you treat your customers as you do in your home-welcomed. Not even a smile I got. I explained I didn't want my eyebrows thin, I had done micro blading before however, I wanted to try powder brows. She threaded and trimmed my eyebrows (yes thin!) she then started the process. Once finished I said they were nice. But just like micro blading I know it needed to heal, the skin would shed and I would see the final results. Once I was home and with better lighting I noticed one eyebrow thinner then the other. 2 people pointed it out to me as well. I reached out to Meghan she first tried telling me how I needed to wait and have it heal then I would see the results. I said no one is way thinner. She agreed to see me and yes she agreed she made a mistake and indeed one was thinner. She corrected it. She informed me she would not be using a black color because it would be too dark. I agreed. She would use a brown color. A few days later my eyebrows peeled and there was barely any lining on my eyebrows! There was no definition to them. The corners were you extend your brows the ink was no longer there. I had areas where there was nothing at all. Pretty much I paid $250 for threading! Definitely not the outcome I wanted, expected or paid for. I took pictures and I emailed her. 4 days went by and I did not hear from her. Again I emailed her and sent pictures. No response. The following day I called her, she claimed not to receive any emails (Yet she received my email when she charged me twice for my first visit. Yes watch your credit cards when paying! That's another story because I had to keep emailing her and calling her about being charged twice and call my bank to try to reverse the charges) When she answered my call she had a slight attitude I explained the situation, I told her I was not happy with the outcome, I could resend her pictures. She explained how I needed 10 days to heal to see the outcome. I told her it's been 10 days I have no outline, areas you don't see anything at all. Again she tried to justify her work. I said you don't get it I am back to filing in my eyebrows. I wanted to wake up in the morning and comb my eyebrows and basically I paid you $250 for threading. She then said in 4 weeks you get them touched up. I said you actually think I will be seeing you and paying $80 more for a touch up when I have nothing on my eyebrows to begin with? I said I think we should just leave things as is and give me some sort of refund. She said I don't give refunds it's non refundable. I said I am the customer and I'm not pleased with the outcome. She said I am not giving you a refund. I said ok then I'll fight this with my CC company and I'll write you a bad review. She said do what you have to do. So this is why I am on here to warn all of you! Not once did she say "What can I do? How can I fix this? How can I make things better?' I am a first-time guest. I had never tried brow threading before, and to say that I was apprehensive would be a huge understatement! I was downright nervous. It turns out, there was NO need to be! Meghan made me completely at ease and comfortable! The process was quick and I LOVE the results! I had threading and eyebrow tinting done. The only reason I didn't give all 5 stars is for the cost. The threading is more than the other places I called. But, I went with BrowLux because they take walk-ins. The tinting is very reasonably priced! Not to say I wouldn't go back, because it was such a pleasant experience, that I likely will! Even if it costs a bit more than others! Meghan is wonderful and worth it!
