Biggest complaint is that they do not answer the phone, and I am saying over a period of year as we tried to set up an account. I was told that once a broker is assigned to you, you can reach someone by phone, otherwise you need to leave messages on the main line. Second complaint is emails are mostly ignored. Staff is only in the office 2 days a week and turnover is high. We spent a year trying to get a commercial account set up, and right when we were ready to sign the paperwork, were told they were no longer accepting new clients. I have known my agent Lisa Blackwell since the 90's. Though we have never met in person she feels like an old friend. She has been with me through the crazies of raising two boys, one with multiple bumps behind the wheel and one with one. Honestly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Unhelpful, rude & passive-aggressive. The amount of time it takes to get a call back is over a week. You just lost me as a customer, keep this up and you will continue to lose & retain valuable business. read more

As a Lic ins Broker I know the details in the insurance business. B&B always responds very quickly and I've never had a problem with coverage for the 17 years I've been with them. Always respond very quickly and gets me the answers I need in a timely manner. Being an Ins Broker is a Yin & Yang with the clients. Clients do need to participate to get the best results. read more

Very poor customer service. I don't call very often, but every time I do call with questions, I can never get a person on the phone line. They do have someone answering the phone, but that person can't help with anything except transferring your call to an agent. The agents never seem to be available and even after voice messages and e-mail, they still don't call back or reply. Not sure how they plan to keep their current customers because they just lost one. read more
