I was going to Salt Lake City for a three day event held at multiple venues. I called the day before a funeral in Holladay for a large easel flower display and wasn't expecting they'd be able to deliver the next morning but they accommodated me without a problem. Cecily was very kind, efficient, and helpful on the phone. Their prices were significantly lower than other florists in the Salt Lake area that I looked at and when I asked about an upgrade to make sure the display was full enough, Cecily assured me it had plenty of flowers and didn't try to upsell me. We ordered the Bright and Beautiful Spray and it was perfect. (I trusted them with floral choices but did request no palm leaves as substitution and was pleased to see that my request was honored.) Arrived on time, no problems with delivery, no hitches at all - just perfect service which is imperative and appreciated for such an important occasion. I had an arrangement made which costed $101 after paying I touched a couple of the roses and the pedals literally were falling off. They were mostly dead.. I asked for some of the roses to at least be replaced. She took away the arrangement and replaced a couple of the flowers, but it was pretty sparse and mostly filler greenery. I definitely won't be going back. I am a florist myself, but use them in a pinch. I definitely will not be going back. I should have just bought flowers from Trader Joe's or Costco and made an arrangement myself and saved money. read more

I will have no issue coming back to this florist. I did a quick search while I was leaving my gym because I had an event I was going to and needed a small, quick arrangement. I wasn't 100% sure what I was going to get because I wanted to check the place out. There's more than enough parking and it's fairly cutesy and has a lot of plants and flowers to choose from. I got help really fast, but wasn't sure what I wanted. Another woman came and asked if I needed help and I kind of fielded an idea and picked out a mason jar like vase. I placed an online order late Sunday night for a floral delivery to my sister's workplace on Monday. Me being in Iowa, and my sister in Utah, I really thought that in my procrastination I would be expecting to hear that it wouldn't be possible on such short notice. Did you ever work with Florist who, well, just got it? Who knew how to put the flowers in the vase so it didn't look like they were stuck in there by a 6 year old, who knew what colors work well with others and, most importantly, who listened to what you wanted and didn't want in the arrangement? Well, I did not find that person at Brown floral. I told them what I wanted, I told them what I didn't want, I told them the feeling that I wanted and when I came back an hour and a half later, it was as if we'd never spoken. I wanted a squat open arrangement - they gave me a tall vase with bunch of flowers in it. I didn't want orange or purple, and that's what I got. When she rebuilt it to make the arrangement fit into the shorter vase that I originally chose, she cut the flowers way too short -- Short enough that they kept falling onto the table. The biggest problem was it was just the wrong feel for what I asked. The arrangement was for a kitchen, and it turned out looking like it was for a 16-year-old debutantes coming out party. Very feminine, very frilly, very much the wrong feel. When I got home, I rearranged things, added some greenery from my yard to give it less of a grandmother's house fake arrangement vibe, and then gave up. The picture shows the arrangement after I fixed it. Never again. Update on my posting from yesterday afternoon: It's been less than 18 hours since I bought the arrangement and it's already fallen apart. The flowers have wilted (see photos), the greenery is brown on the edge, and none of the buds will last long enough to open. It didn't even last a day. Totally disappointed.
