    Beautiful funeral arrangement
    Kelsey C.

Excellent customer service. I called the day before a funeral in Holladay for a large easel flower display and wasn't expecting they'd be able to deliver the next morning but they accommodated me without a problem. Cecily was very kind, efficient, and helpful on the phone. Their prices were significantly lower than other florists in the Salt Lake area that I looked at and when I asked about an upgrade to make sure the display was full enough, Cecily assured me it had plenty of flowers and didn't try to upsell me. We ordered the Bright and Beautiful Spray and it was perfect. (I trusted them with floral choices but did request no palm leaves as substitution and was pleased to see that my request was honored.) Arrived on time, no problems with delivery, no hitches at all - just perfect service which is imperative and appreciated for such an important occasion. The arrangement was fresh and beautiful and full, and most importantly helped us communicate love and support to the family during their emotional time. I won't hesitate to recommend them and will definitely use them again for any floral needs. Thank you, Brown Floral!!

This is my favorite Flower Store that I prefer to use for all my needs. Birthdays, Wedding, Valentine's, Anniversaries, Get Well wishes etc. It has been around for decades and I even bought my High School Prom flowers here over a couple decades ago. It is not the One Eight Hundred Flower dot com type of place. They don't do the usual assembly line floral arrangements like many others. They have always exceeded my requests with their obvious talents and unique creations. It is worth going there or ordering with them because they only charge $10 for delivery ANYWHERE IN THE SL COUNTY.

I was very excited to send my friend two arrangements in celebration of giving birth on her birthday. I ordered the "Teleflora's Enchanting Pastels Unicorn Bouquet (Deluxe)"and she received what looks like the (Standard). I also ordered the "Majestic Magenta (Premium)" and she also received the (Standard). The photo showing the whole order is what was delivered. How very disappointing.

Super cute interior with lots of buy now options.

I will have no issue coming back to this florist. I did a quick search while I was leaving my gym because I had an event I was going to and needed a small, quick arrangement. I wasn't 100% sure what I was going to get because I wanted to check the place out. There's more than enough parking and it's fairly cutesy and has a lot of plants and flowers to choose from. I got help really fast, but wasn't sure what I wanted. Another woman came and asked if I needed help and I kind of fielded an idea and picked out a mason jar like vase. The arrangement was done in maybe 10 minutes and it was extremely well-priced. I'm very happy with the service, price, and finished product! I will recommend and come back here for sure! So very happy and it was very well-received!

    A beautiful arrangement by Brown.

Brown Floral has been around for 100 years! That tells you something, right there. They excel in unique arrangements using only the freshest flowers, and they are reasonably priced. What's not to love?? Brown made beautiful flower crowns for my daughters, who were flower girls in my brother's wedding--and when we needed to order an extra one at the last minute, that was no problem! In addition to gorgeous flowers, Brown Floral also has cute gifts in their shop. These are perfect for teacher or friend gifts--anytime you need something cute to grab and take to someone, Brown is the place to go. Basically, I love Brown Floral and recommend checking out their shop and their flowers.

They sell fairy gardens at Brown Floral which are delightful and adorable

Brown Floral does beautiful floral arrangements. They never look dated or cheap, which has been a problem with other florists I have used. I always request unique arrangements and they do a great job at making unique, classy, beautiful, expensive looking bouquets. Lucky for me, my husband uses them too for special occasions. Everyone is always impressed with the flowers my husband brings home. Tracie is so great to work with and has made the store beautiful. It's been updated so perfectly and feels clean and light and airy, and has a wonderful seating area. They also sell gorgeous potted plants as well as gifts such as books, jewelry, bags, candles and wreaths. Their seasonal items, plants, wreaths and arrangements are always spot on as well.

Beautiful, fresh, interesting floral arrangement from Brown Floral/Mildred's Flowers.

I love buying flowers and gifts from Brown Floral. Here's why: Beautiful, unique, fresh, reasonably priced floral arrangements. Family owned, small business in the heart of Holladay that is turning 100 years old this year. Lovely store with a carefully curated gift boutique and pre-made arrangements ready to buy for walk-in customers. Excellent customer service. Delivery people are responsible with your custom made floral pieces. I've used them for sympathy arrangements as well as new baby and congratulatory occasions. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous spring arrangement - the blooms were HUGE!

Winchester is smack in the middle of two spaces for Westside, and even though there are signs everywhere, they only serve to confuse matters more. But never fear, I'm here to provide some much needed clarity! On the East corner is Westside's main nursery space, filled with all the perennials, annuals, a few vegetables and herbs, groundcover, succulents, roses, and most of the smaller plants, though there are some trees and bushes here too (through which a charming stone walkway meanders). A register is located in a small shed-like building, along with garden accessories and fertilizers. Now, if you're seeking a larger variety of bushes and trees, you'll have to exit the nursery, walk past Winchester's chain-link fence and entrance, and then go into the OTHER section for Westside on the West side (hahaha) of this whole strip, where the bulk of these plants are housed. Despite the frustration accorded by their wonky set up, Westside was a really nice lil' nursery! The employees were really great. Every single one I interacted with was just cheery as can be, so helpful, and truly and honestly passionate about gardening. There was one gentleman that was just running around, lugging customer's purchases to their vehicles, and all the while so smiley and kind to everyone. The prices were in line with comparable businesses. Parking is iffy - you pretty much have to grab a spot along the street, and it's dang busy! Just be careful and stay safe. It's worth doing at least once to check out Westside.

I mean, these days when you can have a…read moreplant shipped to your house (as I was surprised to find on my porch last week!) it's hard to imagine all the love and care and curation and maintenance that goes into having a bunch of stuff in stock that can die. What a brave business to be in! My small collection of houseplants is growing, as are each individual plant. I found myself in need of a new container for a Blue Star Fern that has outgrown its current home, and so I thought hey, why not go see what I can find. What I was actually searching for was a simple nursery container, as I have a lovely decorative outer container, but they do sell quite the variety of decorative containers. From the simple terra cotta to the more fancy glazed, to cement (love!) and some pretty massive ones out back. They have glass containers for air plants, and some way way way cool glass ones that are made by blowing glass onto driftwood or other wood, and the glass actually forms a custom fit onto the wood. Holla atcha terrarium peeps! Sadly, they not have nursery containers. Or at least they did not sell them--I spied them on the bench, but apparently they're not for sale. It's a tiny space so you're not going to get much variety, especially of any size. Pack in a few mature monstera or fiddle leaf figs and suddenly it's a forest, so while there are some lovely little succulents, you don't get a ton of different house plants. I was also surprised to see so many artificial plants. They advertise commercial plants, so perhaps that's why? Easier to maintain, for sure! Outside there are a few outdoor plants, but it's not like a nursery where you might go to grab all of your bedding plants or annuals for the year. It was interesting to see the style. There are some containers or hanging containers, or tiered setups that are on the very edge of what's what right now. Air plants. Succulents. Someone is doing their homework. But there are also some very old school things, and the "it plants" were conspicuously absent. Online, everyone is all hot and bothered over raven ZZ plants, or pink dalmation aglaomena, or pink *anything*, and here they are all absent, and we have the always venerable pothos and sansevieria. It's like there are two forces at play making orders. I suppose this is the reality of owning a plant shop, balancing what is known and solid and dependable for business, and what is trendy and drives traffic when you hit it right. Worth a visit to see what strikes your fancy, and packed full of really large containers in the back. Other shops may have more variety, but every plant shop has its own charm and is full of discoveries waiting to happen.

(I'll take it if it's quality, and that's why I've stuck with them.) They'll offer a warranty on every purchase. DON'T fall for it because even if your plants die they'll fight you tooth and nail over why your plant isn't really dead (why it was human error which conveniently isn't covered by their warranty.) They've asked me to dig the plants at my mother's home and bring it back to them (some are massive!) do scratch tests, send pics, it's never sufficient and frankly it's getting exhausting. I have spent thousands over the years on soil, plants, flowers, trees, bushes, etc. but I'm so over it. The customer service (at least warranty) provides little service as possible. I've recommended family members to them and they have run into similar issues and I'm just not going to make recommendations nor shop there myself. My recent issue was with a purchased Japanese maple under the 5-year warranty (which costs extra) and they refused to honor it due to human error. Yet the one I got in the front yard (might I add at half the price, from a company online) is doing fantastic. What I do recommend: buy online, or any nearby home improvement store - at least you'll get a deal so you're not out hundreds of dollars if anything dies or needs replacing down the road. I'm so tired of burning extra money for "quality" I don't reap the benefits of at Glover. (Adding this in response to the business owner below: I took the tree out yesterday that your team of experts just last week gave recommendations on for it having "viable signs of growth". The trunk snapped - all light brown, completely dead. And the only reason they had the idea of depth was because that is what I told them might have happened. You lost a customer. What a joke)
