My sister had a birthday and she lives in a different city than me. I saw on their Facebook that they made birthday mugs full of flowers and I thought that would be perfect. I asked for some balloons too. They were incredibly helpful to this out of towner. The final result was beautiful. read more

I ordered birthday flowers for my grandma (I live an hour away) and was VERY specific about what I wanted. They delivered something 2 days late that wasn't AT ALL what I ordered and looked junky. $50 plus $9 delivery for something I could've bought at a grocery store for $19. I called to complain and the owner was extremely rude and refused to even partially refund my money. Next time, I'll order from an online floral delivery service and be sure that I get what I pay for. read more

Brown's has an amazing selection of fresh cut flowers and plants, their staff is amazing in designing something perfect for any occasion that I've had a need to celebrate. I can't say enough about this family owned business that's over 100 years old. At Christmas time do yourself a favor and order some poinsettia plants for your home or office. As soon as I arrived, I was impressed by the large pretty storefront and when I walked in there was a sizeable selection of plants on display along with a turtle in an aquarium. Ordered a bouquet of white lilies and irises for my husband to be delivered the next day to his office. The price was reasonable and the staff was friendly. I happened to arrive on the same morning as their weekly shipment van so the flowers were very fresh. The flowers were delivered the next day and Hubby was happily surprised by my gift. I was 100% pleased with the service and I'll be using them again in the future. It was past delivery hours but I had just lost someone very special in my family and asked if there was anything they could do (and I was willing to pay extra). The nice woman on the phone put me on hold while she talked to her delivery service. I actually started crying when she agreed to deliver flowers after hours for a reasonable fee. order from browns if you would like them to leave your purchase with a stranger i ordered from them my sister didnt recieve them so i called and ask where flowers was and they said ,,,well we lefted them across the street with someone..hmmm did i pay too do that ???no so order from them if you want too then i called and told them about it and they acting like they wasnt wrong .ong story short my sister had to track flower down because they lefted them where they wanted to leave them!!! shame on browns!!!nobody wants to track down flowers when they should go to only the address u provide ,,, not what is convenient for them !! next time call customer and ask what would you like to do person is not home!!! good luck with browns very upsetting !!! read more

I ordered a very large arrangement of roses by phone for my mom who is in the hospital to brighten her day and for something beautiful to look at while she is resting. The person helping me and who made the arrangement was sooo amazing. She looked at all the roses for the best ones and gave me many color combinations to choose from since I could not see them. Her descriptions were exactly what was delivered. The arrangement was the most beautiful ever - very large roses in perfect condition. Many people commented on the flowers when they were placed in her room and others stopped by the doorway to look in which made her very happy. I am quite surprised by the people who have not had good outcomes from Brown Floral. My family and myself have used them for 45 years myself and beyond with my parents. Never have we ever been disappointed in either their customer service or their product. They have handled family wedding, birthdays, mothers days and funerals, all were top notch. Makes me wonder if some people just may never be satisfied. read more

Ordered flowers for my mom at Foote. They arrived a bit droopy, not terrible, but they lasted only 2 days. It was late Thursday before Labor when we ordered so I suspect they gave us what they had left. That aside, it was the response to their "guaranteed satisfaction" that floored me. They said the hospital must have switched the flowers and they actually called the delivery service to see how many flowers she had delivered that day! Finally we were offered a 50% refund (so much for 100% satisfaction guaranteed). Here is the most unbelievable part. The person on the phone said, "Look you still have your mother, so this doesn't amount to a hill of beans, really, right?" This all took 4 calls and 2 hang-ups. I'm so so so disappointed in Brown Floral. We paid $75 for a funeral arrangement after giving detailed instructions on the colors and flowers we wanted. Got to the funeral home the next day and the arrangement was purple. We had even paid $15 more to have the pink vase. I called and spoke to the manager, but pretty much got the run around on how the person helping us was new and didn't write down our specific color and flower instructions. They did offer to make another arrangement, but the funeral was in an hour. Our family has been going to Brown's for close to 50 years, but no more. Next time we'll head straight to Karmays. read more
