A gem hidden in plain site, this B&B is located on the Market Place and across from the village wedding chapel. It is conveniently located in close proximity, walking distance, to shops and stores. There are several things that make this B&B special. First, its owners are a wonderful couple whose sole purpose seems to be --giving back. The underlying mission of this B&B is to provide a place for young adults with disabilities to find self actualization and a sense of purpose. In addition, its owners are focused on ensuring their dining and rooming guests have the best service available. They are winners on both counts. Second, the food here is literally amazing! Having just come off of a Rhine River cruise with its abundance of eloquent banquets of Europe's finest, the chef here rivals any NY or Washington DC chef. The calibre of food is comparable. He deserves a Michelin Star. The food has presentation, creativity and is a convergence of wonderful flavors. Not to mention, the portions are generous and reasonably priced-- great value for the Euro.
The wait staff is professional, well trained, caring, and extremely proud of their accomplishments.
The outdoor garden terrace with its split level fountain has a calming effect. The added touch of water lilies and gold fish tends to give the impression of being somewhere other than the center of town. Diners arrive and seem to get lost in friendly conversation, as if they too are in another world.
The rooms are spacious, adorably furnished and gives one the impression of a secret little get away. This is a home away from home.
I encourage everyone to visit and experience this wonderful escape. read more
