Their breakfast is unbeaten, I enjoyed a fresh buttery croissant every morning and other great, partly self-made things. the house is of the 1930ies, one of the most interesting architectural eras in the NL. Riet and Jan Willem have greatly taken care of the originals of the house. The room I stayed in was beautiful, bright and with a lovely shower. There was space for my bike, so it did not have to sit out on the street. All in all: real value for money, if you enjoy warm hosts and a lovely, beautiful environment. Heleen

It is right in the center of Rotterdam and a stone's throw from great restaurants and nightclubs, museums, and shopping. Both of the rooms that I stayed in were large and lined with windows (and a deck off the Zen Room) that look over the back of the property where there are gardens overflowing with flowers. All of the furniture and bedding and drapery In both rooms is brand-new and incredibly comfortable. And the breakfast served by the hosts is terrific; Dutch cheese, fresh bread, fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee, etc. Finally, the hostess could not be more welcoming. Not only did she offer to give us a walking tour of Rotterdam, she told us all about the best things to see and do in Rotterdam and she was absolutely right on all accounts. We went to fabulous museums and world class restaurants within a half a kilometer of the B&B. We have stayed in many accommodations throughout Europe, and I can say without reservation that this is one of the best properties in which we have ever stayed. I can't recommend it highly enough.

I am so thankful I found this hotel for my three day stay in Belgium, Brussels. Currently when you…read morewalk in, the door is broken so you have to contact the hosts in order to get in. But no big deal because they are really good about getting you. It's a really smooth transition. The building itself is sleek and modern. When you walk in you see beautiful concrete stairs. We reserved one of the room on the second floor. Our room is drop dead gorgeous. The room is way better than the pictures I posted. The designers really did a great job and the decor matches the urban feel of the room. The owner told us they plan to build a restaurant in the basement. I am so excited about that because this is a hotel I would come back to in a heartbeat on my next trip to Brussels.
