I will tell you though if you go when there is a live band it will be loud our party could not hear each other talk while the band was playing. The service has always been great too! The facility was very nice, clean, and provided a pleasant atmosphere for our special occasion. The service was good, and the staff was attentive throughout our visit. As for the food, it was prepared well and appeared to be enjoyed by many in our group. Several people complimented their meals and seemed very satisfied. For me personally, the menu offerings and flavors were simply not the type of food I typically prefer. That's a matter of personal taste rather than food quality. Overall, I had a positive experience with the venue and service, but the cuisine was not quite my style. For that reason, I would give The Sanctuary on 25th a 3.5 out of 5 stars.

A couple of friends and i walked in around 11pm, and i don't know if i was a worker off the clock or something but there was this woman sitting at the bar with her feet on another barstool, on her laptop, halfway through a cocktail and clearly drunk. As soon as we came up the steps, she yells, "How the f*ck do people keep getting in this is the third group!" Mind you, the door was unlocked and wide open. Then, she finally acknowledges us and says "sorry we're closed." I work at a very busy bar here in Tuscaloosa, and I can understand being annoyed, but saying something like that in front of customers coming into your establishment is so incredibly gross. I had an offer to work here and this completely turned me off I will not be coming back.

The hidden entrance, disguised as a street-side Pepsi machine with a discrete handle, opens up to an evening of fun. The staff is super friendly and attentive. With two full bars offering a great selection of drinks at fair prices, there's something for everyone. The DJ was spinning great beats while we were there. For sports fans, there are nice TVs and plenty of options for outdoor drinking and dining. I've been to several speakeasies across the globe, and this upstairs gem is one not to miss!

I bragged about this place to my guys in Guest Relations at Kami-Con enough to the point a bunch of them including our special guest went there and ate multiple nights. Even got to a point where I heard they did some type of special or something for anyone that showed there Kami-Con badge and I heard they want to do something again for next year. Since it's a bar and I don't drink I probably wouldn't have known about Marty's if it wasn't for my buddy Tony who took me and a few others here. So this past Saturday night I decided to go here because I had not had dinner and was starving it was 11pm and besides fast food I knew this place was open and I was close by and wanted to introduce two of my friends to this place. Marty's PM does not open until 8pm and closes at 5am during that time you can get one of the best burgers you've ever had in Birmingham and is in my top 5 hands down of places to go for a burger. They are always fresh to order and they come in many varieties. What I got was a standard bacon cheese burger and of course was not disappointed. 9.8/10 Go check out Marty's at 1813 10th CT.
