We had a valve plug blowout on our front tire and barely made it to Brown's Service Station. During our wait, the owner allowed us to use his phone several times (no cell service in the area) to call our relatives for help and even offered us a sandwich and something to drink. Not specializing on servicing motorcycle tires, they tried several different ways to get to the valve in order to replace it. Finally, the owner located an old tool that dated back into his grandfather's day and was able to get to the valve and replaced it. These people were so friendly and treated us with so much kindness. My wife and I are so thankful for what they all did for us and for God getting us there safely. They are the Best of the Best!! A Great bunch of People that made us feel like family. Thanks guys for all you did for a couple of 62 year old strangers!!! You will never be forgotten!!

It has aluminum tables and is paved with brick. The patio is really what sets this place apart. You feel as if you are coming to a hip restaurant with outdoor seating, not a gas station! Inside they have all of the standard fare: Coffee Stations, MTO machines, snacks, drinks, etc. It was soooo busy, even late at night but the line moved very quickly even with only one cashier working. And she was very friendly! The only criticism I have is because of the bathrooms. Unfortunately there was toilet paper all over the floors. But this is really the fault of the customers. I actually have not enjoyed an experience at a gas station so much before, lol. The bathrooms were extremely clean AND stocked with not only soap but a cherry almond hand wash/scrub. I also figured I'd grab some coffee, and I was expecting the typical sparse gas station set up, but I didn't realize they had specialty coffee here! I tried the Cinnamon Roll Cold Brew and I'm still in awe at how delicious it was. I was already a happy camper, when I noticed the glass cabinet full of handmade glass trinkets. Of course I wanted a souvenir to remember this 10/10 gas station experience, so I ended up purchasing the cutest little glass gecko. To passerby's it may just be a place to fuel up and grab a drink and snack. But to our community it's so much more. The owner has a local farm from which he sells beef and pork hear round. His Exxon has several coolers full of fresh meat for sale. Last year shortly after The pandemic happened demand for meat went up. Odell's worked tirelessly to keep up. And they did his very best to keep prices as reasonable as possible. I am thankful for our local farm raised beef and pork. Odell's Exxon is also a place to grab some breakfast or lunch from their kitchen. Grab it to go or enjoy it in their nice seating area where you are likely to witness many locals stop by and exhibit their West Virginia hospitality! My favorite meat is the cube steak, ground beef, and the pork sausage. Give them a try.
