Everyone with this company is always so incredibly kind, from the woman on the phone who scheduled me, to the men that have come out to my home for repairs and tune-ups. My window was 8-10am and just before 8:00am, I got a text with a photo and an "about me" section so I could see who was coming to my home. Such a nice touch! Their senior technician, Josh, arrived a few minutes after 8:00am, looking just like his photo, with another young man who was shadowing him. I showed Josh what I thought happened, he was very reassuring that this is common (which was such a relief to hear), and within a few minutes of looking it over, he calmly explained what my garage would need and why. Despite my door being crooked and assuming there would need to be a lot replaced, most of it was repairable. Only the cables and a couple of brackets needed replaced. The price was phenomenal, lower than I was anxiously googling last night, so I was even more relieved! The work was done in a reasonable amount of time, the guys made me feel safe and comfortable, they showed me the utmost respect, and suggestions for future items to consider were explained without being pushy. My elderly neighbor, who needs a new garage door, saw their van and came outside to ask them to chat with him next. After just under 2 years, one spring broke and in an instant, we were an unable to get our car out…read moreof our garage. I called Superior about a repair at 11:41 am and they gave me a 3 hour repair window that sams day from 12 pm to 3 pm. Since I have a daily standing medical appointment, I told them what time I would need to leave home. Little did I know that at 12:31 pm service tech Chris would be ringing my doorbell. Superior is 16 miles away from my house which means the drive is about 30 minutes. Talk about fast service, they have Jimmy John style of speed! Chris recommended that I have both springs repaired which makes sense and also will save a second service call charge of $140. Less than 1 hour later, the garage is back in service. Springs are rated to last about 10,000 cycles which is typically about 2 years of normal usage. We store 2 cars in the garage and the door will at least experience 4 - 8 cycles daily. Every time the garage door goes up is a cycle and every time the garage door goes down is a cycle. I honestly don't think we used the garage that much compared to my family and friends but since I don't have the statistics, I pretty much had no choice in paying to have the springs replaced. We use our front door a lot because we have cars outside the garage that are used and i have told the living companions that the garage door is not a front door and to be mindful of using the garage door like it is the front door. I think I will just have the springs oiled and inspected annually to see if they can last longer.

This is a long review HOWEVER!!! you need to read before deciding to use this company. The…read moretechnician arrived, was very courteous, installed the new springs, ensured the garage would open and close, HOWEVER....he did not provide a written estimate. I inquired about the cost which he did initially provide, but then wrote a final bill for 3x the initial price provided. After refusing to pay the end price and his calling his company, the price was lowered a quarter of the initial price. We talked with a representative twice who was very unprofessional ending with the rep hanging up on us (twice). We spoke with a second representative, who was courteous but had no clue regarding the situation. The company finally honored the quoted price which was initially agreed upon payment with a check. They later wanted the quote payed with electronic payment and would not honor the initial payment by check. We even agreed to deliver the payment check or cash in person which they would not provide an address. They finally said the technician would pick the check up the next day but did not show. We eventually settled with the initial agreement by check which was picked up by the technician. Additionally, the technician was from a company called 317 Garage door, not Superior Garage Door.
