Traveling through Indiana on Interstate 65N, our car transmission failed south of Indianapolis. This was Saturday, May 24, 2025 Memorial Weekend. After contacting our insurance company we were put in contact with Brownsburg Towing. The towing driver, Donny called and confirmed our problem and location. (This was critical - the insurance agent had provided an incorrect location information.) After his call he was there in 30 minutes and provided us with excellent advise and service We were able to check-in our car for repair service and got transportation to get us home late Saturday evening. Do not use! My insurance uses them for there road assistance. We need the car towed they said it would be between 7:05 and 8:05 they told my insurance company they were there and I called them they said they were at running 2 hrs behind . I called them at 9 to get a eta and they hung up on me and then canceled the service call read more

My car broke down in Lebanon. I called brownsburg towing. The guy who answered the phone said they were currently busy but gave me an ETA of 3 hours. Said I didn't need to be there and just leave the keys under the driver mat. Which I did and I texted all the details and pics like the guy asked me to. They never showed. The least they could have done was text or call me back to let me know they couldn't fit it in their schedule. Completely unreliable and made an already stressful situation more stressful. read more

Had a blow out on the interstate. One other company with a truck showed up but said the couldn't tow it... Brownsberg showed up with the same exact setup and same truck loaded it and got me to Pomp's in Indy! 100% recommend these guys. Also note that times vary because of insurance companies not the actual towing company these fellas killed it 10/10 will use again if in the Indy area!!! Also highly recommend Pomps!!! read more

I 100% do not recommend this company at all. Steve Dumbar, the owner of company, was called to tow my friends car that had a ball joint fall out and was not drive-able. He told us he was 10-20 minutes far out, and we believed that. An hour and a half later he shows up! (Mind you we're three girls at a gas station and he shows up around 8:30 pm). He comes slanging his oh so vicious gun around his waist and we cannot understand anything this man is saying cause he's missing a ton of teeth. (Nothing against that but talk a little louder when you're behind a tow truck). He's struggles to back in, then struggles to get the car onto the truck. He does this for about 20 minutes and says he doesn't have the right materials and truck to tow the car and that he'd be back in 20 minutes. After an hour of not seeing him or hearing from him, we called and all calls were declined. We even talked to the repair shop and they couldn't even get ahold of him. If you can't do your own job, at least admit it! Around 12 am some 19 year old kid from a different company pulled the car onto the truck within 10 minutes. You'd think this big old man could maybe have a little courtesy and knowledge about towing, since he's the owner? If I could give this guys 0 stars, I would. read more

Horrible service! The guy was late an hour! Was rude, didn't have the right equipment to strap the car on the flatbed!!!! When I pointed it out if he was planning to secure all the wheels, he simply replied that he does not have straps. He unloaded my car and told me that he is going to get another tow.
