This small and locally owned business also offers facials and waxing but I've only been here for eye brow threading. The prices have gone up a whole ONE time since I've been going here, which was in 2020. If you do see Sharda, her pricing is more compared to the other staff members. I personally have only seen her so I can't speak to the others. Anticipate a slight wait time if coming in after 5pm during the week or anytime on the weekend. You are not able make an appointment but it really only takes about 10 minutes for eye brow breading. Bring cash too, they do not accept CC for services that total under $20. I don't think their hours are correct on google and Yelp so be sure to call ahead to make sure they're open. I did notice that there was a sign during my recent visit that said they are closed on Mondays.

This is especially helpful because I'm usually seeing them when I'm in town from NYC and scheduling something last minute and they always find time to fit me in. Sharda and Koki are the sweetest, most loving people I know and I am so thankful to have met them. I am grateful I have a place to go to whenever I visit IL to have my beauty needs met. The move was stressful and it was time for a de-stressing, pleasant change. Self Care is important! At the end of the hair treatment, my friend was more stressed leaving than going in. I included stock images of what a proper balayage should look like, and the second photo is the treatment my friend walked out with. As an honest friend, I had to tell my girl that she had gotten 2000's highlights that were cut off before the roots. The benefit of the doubt is that this is the first balayage this stylist has ever attempted. The groupon didn't include a cut, just the balayage, which, okay - that's reasonable. But the stylist did charge more just because my friends hair was slightly thick and wavy, and not a 1 or 2a curl pattern??? The stylist then tried to detangle and straighten (flatten) my friend's hair which isn't the most flattering style for balayage. The stylist also tried to use a de-tangling solution rather than a cream, oil, or leave in conditioner. My friend, bless her soul, still tipped her stylist for the effort. But please, please do research before attempting another balayage.
