We felt that we had a choice between Starbucks without a ticket and AAA with a ticket. We were shocked that there was no one answering the phone on Saturday and Sunday after our Friday night incident, but promptly showed up as directed on Monday morning only to find that we had been directed to the wrong yard. The people there seemed like they were ready to pop, over hassled, stressed, and not happy to see anyone. After a 40 minute wait, we were direct to the correct yard on the other side of town. That's where things changed - we went from "I will never use these clowns again" to the professionalism of Krystal - what a relief; someone trying to help, knowledgeable, courteous, and unruffled. Our opinion went from no stars to six stars!

I was able to come pick it up the next day. HOWEVER, when I picked it up, it was in the way back against another beaten up car in the dark, and I could only see the driver's side to get in and drive home. It was today that I went outside to take a look at my Mercedes, and the WHOLE RIGHT SIDE is scraped!!! I literally JUST replaced both bumpers and had repainted all the minor scratches to get it in top shape, but now THIS! I took pictures, but we'll see what they have to say. It's going to cost me SO MUCH MONEY to fix, the whole side is damaged, as well as a CHUNK of my front corner of my bumper that I just replaced and painted!! I'm so upset I can't even see straight. I then had to go to Ken's impound lot the next day for a virtual inspection for Allstate's purposes. Long story short, Allstate was backed way up because of a plethora of accidents recently, and I had to wait at the impound yard for about 3 hours, on hold, with Allstate's "virtual assistant." The tow truck driver had to wait with me due to security reasons, and he hung out there patiently the whole time, and shared interesting stories about his work as a tow truck driver. I wish I knew his name, his presence was greatly appreciated. He could have easily and understandably locked the gate and moved on to other things after an hour of waiting. Allstate eventually started the inspection as it was getting dark, and within 24 hours our family had the cash value of our totaled car in hand, all with minimal headache. I credit both the patient, kind tow truck driver and Allstate with making a bad situation better.

I was trying to figure out how many days/hours the totaled car was in their lot, it seemed that I was being overcharged (I was mistaken). My son totaled my late husband's car. It's not about the money but I was confused and LJ bullied me, he shouted at me, and then refused to accept my debit card for payment. LJ said he didn't trust the card. It's a debit card LJ, the money comes out...period. Yes, I was swearing but for crying out loud I'm 5'1" and LJ did a power play. He insisted that I return with cash. He threatened that he wouldn't be there and I would have to come back another day. He insisted that I call back for another appointment because it was a non-work day. Before I left Starbuck's towing I called for another appointment and he said he couldn't be there, I'd have to come another day. I said to LJ I was told that I could collect the car at anytime during the weekend and all I needed was a 1-hour notice. After that LJ said he'd be there. I returned within an hour with cash to pay the bill. LJ was still a bully, no more shouting but he was belligerent and still a bully. It's pathetic that Starbuck's towing cares so little about the people in the city where they make a ton of money. Obviously a contract with the city of Bellevue or weird relationships with the Bellevue police department keeps them in business. If I had been with the car and was able to request a towing company I would NOT use Starbucks towing. Stay away.

We tried jumping it ourselves, and even an employee from the store came out to help, but nothing worked. Then Trev showed up like an angel. Not only did he get the car started, but he refused to charge us a dime. Who does that anymore?! In a world where kindness can sometimes feel rare, Trev reminded us that there are still genuinely good people out there. Thank you, Trev! You truly are an angel.
