He treated my wife and I as individuals that needed his help and not just another case. Throughout the entire process, he kept me informed and took the time to explain every step, so I always knew what to expect. Bryan also worked tirelessly to ensure I would qualify for a military diversion program. Thanks to his knowledge and persistence, I was able to successfully complete the program and move on with my life. Bryan truly stood by my family when we needed it most. The outcome that he achieved will make a lasting difference for myself and my family. I will be eternally grateful for what he did for us.

I'm going to try to keep this as short as possible, but yes, Bryan and especially Dustin, made this very chaotic and emotional roller coaster of an experience for me personally, feel very almost seamless, effortless and calm. I feel like I received peace of mind, all of my time back, as they took care of basically every physical and legal obligation possible. The value received was definitely exponentially greater than what I was charged for. And not at any point did I feel like I was not absolutely being fought for, and given the best chance with them for the best outcome under the circumstances. Even after the conclusion, they are still helping me with the post processes. They actually care and I could not be more appreciative for Dustin especially and Bryan. Thank you guys so much honestly, you guys are absolutely amazing what you do and just very good human beings. Thank you again. Sincerely, Brent

I did A LOT of research and consultations when looking for a lawyer to help me with my case. I knew instantly after talking to Scott, that he was the one I wanted to represent me. What made my decision to go with Scott, is that you can tell that he's honest & concise. He did not give me any empty promises & prepared me for what my best/worst outcome could look like. It was clear from the start that he truly understood my values to have the best outcome while also being mindful of protecting my family and avoiding unnecessary pain or conflict. Seriously, thank heaven/god/universe, that I made the right choice in having Scott as my lawyer! I got the best outcome because of him. He handled my case with professionalism and integrity. Throughout the process, he was consistently responsive and informative--something I didn't realized how much I needed until I experienced it. He was extremely patient with me, always taking the time to answer my many questions, even when they were repeated. Thank you, thank you Scott!!

This GREAT law firm appeared SEVERAL times on my behalf, (I never had to appear,) and WITH THE TICKETING OFFICER PRESENT, had the ticket DISMISSED! No one bothered to inform me. My court date was quickly approaching, I was essentially left without representation, and I had to scramble at the last minute to hire another attorney. After all of that, they returned only about $700 of my $5,000 retainer. For what exactly? The lack of communication and professionalism was shocking, especially from a LAW FIRM handling a time-sensitive legal matter. The billing dispute line was on the receipt, I would have appreciated a call from someone at the firm who is actually familiar with my case and billing (not simply the front desk) so we can discuss the substantial amount of my retainer that has not been returned and hopefully reach a fair resolution. As it stands, I would not recommend this law firm.

Came to them looking for help on my second DUI. Ended up serving jail time. A year and a half into my dui, finally had my last court date. I had already at this point completed most of my DUI program and a MADD course in addition to 150 hours of AA classes. Why is it that after going to court SO many times, the judge had no idea of my progress? They asked me to get a character reference letter, which I did from a friend at LAPD, which was pointless since no one ever read it. They pushed me to plead guilty when I didn't want to, just because they didn't want to take it to trial. And now this is on my record when it shouldn't be. I had the IID Breathalyzer installed in my car for a year per the DMV, the attorneys here stated that the court would likely require it for a year too but that the time I had it in my car for the dmv would transfer to the court time, wrong. I just had to have it installed for ANOTHER year. So IID for 2 years, 90 days of jail time, probation for 5 years, suspended license for 2 years, and at least $20k in fees. The attorneys told me IID for 1 year, only couple days of jail time and a suspended license for 6 months, all were wrong, after pushing me to plead guilty when I didn't want to. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I would have done a better job representing myself.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! - Reprehensible, vile, purely self serving with the goal of gas-lighting…read morewhile maintaining no regard nor remorse for clients. It seems that most fall for the trap unknowingly so. In doing a deep dive AFTER hiring Mr. Kim and based on the divergence of his persona from pre-to-post retainer, I was certain I'd been fooled. My initial case was open and shut, very simple as instructed by family in law who practice outside of SoCal. Soon after hiring Mr. Kim I was in an unfortunate circumstance where I was in legal cross-hairs for a 2nd crime, false accusation by a one time acquaintance. From the time Mr. Kim was hired his somewhat light demeanor and easy-breezy attitude quickly evolved into an indifferent, callous, money hungry and belligerent clear one-man operation. I was treated like I was a perceived criminal of sorts who went out and: "picked up a case..." in fact his exact words in that interaction: "I didn't tell you to go out and pick up a case!" Yelling, in a condescending tone of absolute contempt, when asking about the POSSIBILITY to merge the initial retainer with the 2nd case. The expectation to be spoken to in a tone of decency and general respect is not on the agenda once your retainer is paid. Up to this point he had done essentially NOTHING. Asking him to send the report of the initial case was an exercise of extreme patience and ongoing emails & calls which only by the 3rd email/call (roughly 1 month) I was finally able to get a copy of the police report; near any attorney sends WITHIN A FEW DAYS. My work experience as a consultant somewhat aligns with Mr. Kim; on the education front I hold two BS degrees and enough work experience that all of my clients always ask where I earned my MBA thanks to 15+ years experience. After finally receiving the report for the initial case on a routine follow-up Mr. Kim made me aware that I had a possible case / an accusation which may be filed by the DA (I was completely unaware of), and he'd read the report and was not willing to send unless I paid up (I asked several times and he would NOT send it). Feeling stuck, I logically inquired about process, my simple questions being how do we resolve this & does this need to go to trial? His response was emphatic and enthusiastic: "We absolutely need to go to trial, it will cost (x) to manage the case up to prelim, then once we get TO TRIAL, then it's (y) in addition, and I can get started right away!" Therefore my next Q - there is no way around going to trial then? His response a definitive and harsh: "NO! No way." It seemed thinking I was already "in" for the initial retainer therefore he can gaslight and then admonish and browbeat and give this impression he's saving the day while in some way playing both sides ie. sandbagging the trial early / playing "hardball" once the 2nd retainer has been paid. At this point the most logical question for you the reviewer, YOU, the person reading this review is to ask: "well, why would this reviewer be saying this / adding this review with this form of a conclusion?" because the case was in fact DISMISSED and did not need to go to trial, after this call I did in fact consult with 10 attorneys on this follow up case and not just 3 like the initial case, which, both cases were honestly open and shut and which both were in fact dismissed. All 10 of the attorneys said all the same thing that the 2nd case will very well be resolved without the need to get past prelim (one actually said it *might* to trial, but yet the accuser's story even in the report did not add up so still very unlikely to get there). Want a massive potential headache? wasted money? (my retainer for the initial case complete sunk cost / completely cut ties) browbeating and treated like a criminal once you've already paid your retainer regardless of the circumstances? Go with Mr. Kim and I wish you luck you're going to need it and your pocket book is going to need it, a helluva lot of it. *EDIT* (addt'l notes) : yes it was several years ago and only now was it finally resolved and closing the loop here, on the communication front, there are email records of your delayed communications. For anyone considering Mr. Kim, lots of luck to you.
