Three years later I was contacted by someone named Lauren in their billing collections about an additional $775 that they claim I did not pay. Mind you I have lived at the same address and had not heard from them in over 2.5 years. I had zero idea I owed them more money (so they claim). I spoke to Lauren and told her my recollection and paid bills don't match up with their claims and could they send me back up to support their claims. She said she could NOT do that and that I would have to speak with the office manager named Jennifer. I called the office no less than five times leaving messages (no one picks up over there) asking for Jennifer to call me. She never returned my calls. I have spoken to my lawyer and documented all my attempts to solve this matter so now I feel a bit better but these folks at Carolina Oral & Facial Surgery are incredibly unhelpful and unprofessional and I would highly advise you to stay away and find an alternative.

I originally went to another place in Jacksonville and left on the day of my surgery because of how rude and impatient they were while preparing me. I must disclose that I have a needle phobia so I was pretty nervous. So after my terrible experience at the other place I made my appointment with Dr.Meadows. During the consultation I told him about my bad previous experience and made it clear that I would be a nervous wreck because of my needle phobia but he was very genuine and explained that him and his staff would be as patient as I needed them to be. And true to his word, they were. On the day of surgery they explained every step all the way up until they put the iv in and I was fast asleep. During my follow up I had my stitches removed and I was in and out within 15 minutes.
