From reception, to the technician I interacted with, everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I also appreciated that I was seen close to the scheduled time and never felt rushed. Once the technician brought me back, I went through a quick X-ray and was led into the exam room. The room was clean, organized and comfortable. Again, within minutes, the dental hygienist arrived and started her routine. I'm very particular about following up with dental care and exams. I floss and brush frequently, and take pride in my teeth. Nevertheless, this dental hygienist took her time, and was extremely detailed in checking the health of my teeth, and even better, she was meticulous with a very detailed cleaning! I can say that in all my years, she is most definitely the best Dental Hygienist I've ever had! Great job! Next, I was welcomed to the practice by a super down to earth and friendly dentist: Dr. Panchal. We went over any concerns and and oral history, and, of course, he studied all of the X-rays taken. He proceed with the oral exam. Dr. Panchal patiently explained his findings and discussed his recommendation, treatment plan, and timeline. I'm pleased to say that my first visit was above average! From professionalism, welcoming and very clean environment, detailed staff, everything was perfect! Dr. Panchal has a great personality and I can see how he sets a wonderful standard which staff fallows. His wit, and lack of pretense were great, and even better: his knowledge, his ability to put the patient at ease, and his communication skills were wonderful! I get there the day of the appointment and they tell me I have cancelled. To be sure, I did not cancel and take off 2 hours from my job to come into an appointment that I have cancelled. I know for a fact that I did not cancel. The lady that took my call, she is older and has blonde short short hair. Looks at me with this smug sarcastic face and shakes her head "yes you did cancel" I am furious about the response that I have gotten. I have now had to rescheduled THREE times because they can't get their crap together. I really like the dentists, but I am NOT a fan of this lady that spoke to me the way she did. She messed up my appointment and then tried to blame it on me and make me look and feel stupid. I am furious at this lady and her office work. We were also told multiple times that certain appointments or repairs would be "no charge," yet the insurance company was still billed afterward. To make matters worse, we took my child to his primary dentist and were told that a filling this office had placed only a month earlier was already loose and about to fall out. The very next day, it did fall out. When I contacted the office, they made him an appointment knowing the filling was out but he was put in for an exam appointment only. I was then told that I would have to make another appointment to actually have the feeling replaced. I understand that dental work can sometimes need adjustments, but having multiple issues in such a short amount of time, combined with confusing and inconsistent billing practices, was extremely frustrating. I would encourage other parents to ask detailed questions about charges and carefully monitor any dental work completed here.
