For a year I had tried 3 types of therapy including Facia. None worked or made my pain worse. Long over due. I was referred to Doctor Dwelly by my attorney following a car accident in 2015. Office is located on Greenback. Located next to the California Fitness. Staff is amazing each time I've been there "Maylene/ or Naylane" ( if I spelt this wrong I apologize. She is the sweetest. Dr. Dwelly himself is amazing. Truly a master of his craft. I came in for my accident and I had 3 adjustments. After the first time I felt amazing instantly. I felt as if I had a new back, I felt lighter on my feet and stood taller. I then returned 2 years later for a work related injury and they still recognized me. Felt like nothing had change. I've seen Dwelly in the past for car accident injuries and such as a kid and he always provided great treatment that always helped. Recently I went back in after 5+ years or so for a neck injury, walked in stiff and in pain. After his treatment the following day my pain and range of motion significantly improved. I've gone to Bruce Dwelly for alomost a year- 3 to 4 visits for a tight piriformis (tight hip). I do a triathlons from time to time and the running/biking can tend to trow you out of alignment. I recently moved to Orangevale and needed a chiropractor desperately as I was in excruciating pain and my primary care physician told me it was "all in my head". I found Dr. Dwelly using the Yelp App and seeing his Five Star rave reviews felt he was the one to see. I was not disappointed. Dr. Dwelly was kind, compassionate, listened to my symptoms and helped alleviate the pain he could, then told me exactly what I needed to do. Go to the ER for an MRI to find what was causing my extreme pain he suspected was a pinched nerve. I did just that and turns out I have Cervical Radiculopathy. The ER doctor said my chiropractor is one of the best to recommend what he did rather than trying to adjust my neck and was very impressed as I am. I know most or at least it seems like most are skeptical of chiropractors but I'll tell you about my experiences. Went to see Dr. Dwelly about 4 years ago after my back and neck was all jacked up and after a few appointments he was able to get my stiff back in line. Had seen him off and on for a while since then till this past April when I was injured in a bad car accident. Having known everyone for a while I knew that I'd get some pain relief but I was really effed up so it took about 4 months to get me to where I could sit without pain for an extended time. Let me reiterate, I was straight jacked up and in constant pain. I know everyone there pretty well and just think they are all the type of people that care about your well being and want to not see you all the time which means you are in better condition. I'm VERY pleased with Dr Dwelly and his office. I was referred by Craig Ashton after a car accident and have had probably 4-5 Treatments so far. Bruce has such a great bedside manner, he makes you feel as if you've been friends for years and that he truly cares about your health and well being. Meline at the front desk is also very friendly. Dr Dwelly has helped me so much already and I'm not done with treatment yet. I have been to several chiropractors in the past and NONE of them have come even close to Bruce Dwelly. He has helped with neck pain and headaches and has taught me some techniques for relief as well as offering to show my husband how to cradle my head and use traction and pressure to relieve headaches. CARPENTER (He is in the same office on Fridays) I have been a long time patient of Dr. Bruce Dwelly and there isn't a single complaint I have had of his work in the past 5 years. However I saw Dr. Carpenter (NOT Dr. Dwelly!) today and I am totally dissatisfied! I went in because my hip is stiff and I can't move it really at all, so when I called to make the appointment they told me they would use the elector shock thing to loosen the muscle, and having had that before I know that is exactly what I need. When I told him specifically that that is what I was told I was going to get, and needed, he completely ignored me and continued with a basic adjustment focusing literally every where I don't have issues, after I clearly explained where my problem areas were. I had to make another appointment for next week with Dr. Dwelly to spend more money getting fixed what should have been done in the first place!! Overall I am EXTREMELY unsatisfied with Dr. Carpenter. The only good thing I have to say is he was friendly, but other than that total waste of money!! read more

I've gone to quite a few chiropractors in my life and Dr. Dwelly is one of the best I have seen. He was recommended to me about 5 years ago when I hurt myself by falling down some stairs. I've seen several chiropractors before and most are pretty much the same. I've had a few exceptional ones, but Dwelly goes above and beyond. I took my son to see him when he had a crick in his neck and couldn't turn it, fixed him right up. Also used his laser treatment on him. He liked the special treatment. He made him feel comfortable because Dwelly had kids and knows how to talk to them. My husband sees him regularly and says he's the best too. Wonderful bedside manner and very personable, and really knows what he's talking about. As an active family it's nice to know that he understands sports injuries as this is his background. read more

Dr Dwelly is great - I have been going to various chiropractors on and off for years. Dr Dwelly is very thorough in understanding my issues and then making the necessary adjustments. He takes the time to talk with you and puts a plan in place for overall health. It's important to note he has you come in only when really needed which is refreshing- love that he has an on-site massage therapist Stacey who is great - applies the right pressure which helps make an adjustment by Dr Dwelly that much easier.
