UPDATE: I have been going to Dr. Geoff for 1 yr 8 months, for various reasons...I had debilitating migraines for many YEARS (20ish?) and was taking daily medications in conjunction with SO MANY Botox shots through my head, neck, & shoulders... Initially I had never considered chiropractic help as I was somewhat frightened of the idea of it, but a friend recommended it and that's how I started going to Dr. Geoff. His adjustments are absolutely fantastic. So, I am now off of all of the migraine medications (even the Botox shots) Also, I had been in a car accident last August and I am still dealing with right-side, lower back, hip, and glute pain... If I miss my treatments / adjustments with Dr. Geoff, the pain intensifies extremely and shoots down my leg... So I pop into the office, and they give me heat pack treatments w/massage, palpate the painful area plus "adjust" me and, I walk out of there feeling like a new person!! (For days, if not weeks!Although, the staff does remind me to keep regular visits up to stay as pain- free as possible but, sometimes life happens and I am too busy to go ) Any way, I have greatly reduced to no pain AT ALL after leaving his care. Dr. Geoff Allen is highly referred so my wife and I tried this office out after being hit from behind in a bad car accident. We were at a complete stop when a roofing truck with a lot of weight on the truck hit us from behind at a speed of approximately 65mph. I had instant bad headache and later experienced neck and back pain. My wife and I both had back and neck pain. After many visits to Dr. Geoff Allen office we had a wonderful experience. The office manager Penny and her daughter were amazing and Annie was very experienced masseuse. They have two very good masseuses depending on the day you go. They will lay you down and hook up tins unit with a hot warm weighted blanket on you. Then have a massager to help sooth your pain. When you get aligned by Dr. Geoff Allen it is amazing. He is really knowledgeable and really cares for each individual case. He wants you to get better than when you came in and he is the best at what he does. Doctors Allen and Cullen are such wonderful happy people! The first day I walked in for an appointment with Doctor Cullen and she sat me down, talked about the pain I had been experiencing with my back, shoulders and neck, took a photo of my posture to show me how my posture would affect the strain on my back and got right to work. As a smaller woman, many other chiropractors I saw were much too forceful with me. Doctor Cullen understands what my body needs and is gentle and efficient. The REAL Thing Hoping I could find relief from neck and back pain and be restored to better physical condition, I started using chiropractic services in February 2009. But, instead of getting better over time from receiving the chiropractor treatments, I began to develop new symptoms each time I left the office. Every time I went in, the doctor would perform his regular "routine". The doctor would ask me how I felt, and I would try to explain. Then, he would barely touch the areas on my back and proceed to "perform" his regular "routine". I got to the point where I was suffering with so much neck pain that it hurt to swallow, and I was scared to death and terrified to let anyone else touch my neck. Luckily my best friend, whom I trust completely, is a client of Dr. Geoff, and she, of course, highly recommended him. Well, to put it lightly, I almost cried with tears of joy after my first visit. I was SO relieved to swallow without feeling that pain in my neck. And, I was completely amazed by his gentle technique, and his ability to "feel" where my muscles needed to be loosened in order to adjust my vertebrae. My story is similar to a previous review. I've been going to the same chiropractor for years. He did help with the problem I went to him for. But over the years I started to get hip pain. This hip pain kept me up at night and I would complain to my chiropractor about it, but we continued to do the same adjustment that we had been doing for 10 years - Anyway, my sister referred me to Dr. Geoff and I finally decided to go. He was able to determine that my hip pain was from the incredible amount of sitting that I do. Within 2.5 weeks I am now able to sleep without being woken up by my hip. I realize that it has been in this position for such a long time and I will have to continue my intense visits before I can come for regular maintenance visits - but that's how it works. Dr. Geoff is super knowledgeable. He focuses not only on the skeletal system but the muscular system too (I'm not in the medical field so this might sound a little off the mark). So my appointments include working the muscles (which I will not lie is somewhat painful) before the adjustment. But holy cow it's working! I had been dealing with a leg injury that had kept me from training for the California International Marathon from December 2009 to August 2010. Dr.Geoff Allen is the greatest! I've been to at least 4 or 5 other chiropractors and no one can compare. He is Extremely knowledgeable! He knows everything about the human anatomy. I believe he is actually credentialed to become an anatomy professor. He teaches me along with other patients about what's wrong and what you can do to make yourself heal better. He does much more than just chiropractic work he does this thing called A.R.T. (active release technique). He basically adjusts your muscles. I can't explain it well but look up "A.R.T." Dr.Geoff is the top of the top! Can't get any better. I've been having problems for years now and its surely going away as I continue to see him. I'm only 24 and my body has been through TOO much. "accident prone" is what you can call me. I fall, bump, and just always hurt myself. have been into 5+ accidents over the years (none of them were my fault). my body just started to feel like i couldnt do anymore. Stopped doing things i love such as dancing and snowboarding because i was in pain. but it has changed tremendously since I've been getting his treatments. He is AWESOME!!!
