Great golf course. Very kind staff. Greeted upon entering by bartender and pro shop. Drinks and food were served all day in the club house and drinks on the course. Greens are in good condition. Golf carts have charging ports for electronics which is great. Recommend this course. read more

Place is awful. Fairways look like a battlefield. For the price I would never come here again.

Course is in terrible shape. Every perfect shot is rewarded by getting lost in a bog or a mud hole in the middle of fairways. Tee boxes are all slanted. You can't tee off on flat ground. Go somewhere else. read more

Booked a Saturday tee time for 10:45 AM. What we weren't told when we checked-in was a golf scramble was in front of us, so we were behind a huge group of at least 12 people plus the 4 ahead of us for their tee time. It was backed up at hole 1, and the last group of 6 for the golf outing was taking their sweet time moving along the course. The ranger was trying to get the pace of play to pick up but didn't happen. There were two groups from the outing who were pretty loud. Blaring music, drinking (which I have no problem with but they were yelling at everyone to do shots and just being loud when people were trying to take their first drive) and it was really loud and annoying. It took us nearly 4 hours just to get to hole 9. Got to hole 10, no problem. Then backed up on 11 and the group in front of us were chatting with us and we waited and watched the group of 6 in front of us BS around, stand around and drink beer. At this point, we all got pissed and left. I will never come back here. For what we paid and our experience. I DO NOT recommend this place. ALSO, they ask for your drivers license number when you check-in on their sign-in sheet. If you don't want to be sued for identity theft, you should be asking for that info when you register on-line or keep that info hidden because it's on a clipboard for EVERYONE to see at the register. It's a huge security risk to people's identities. I get someone crashed a cart, but that's not a smart or safe thing to do with people's personal identifiable information! read more

Golf course is nice. Customer serve was lacking. We arrived and had to wipe down our carts since they were wet all over from dew. My son was wiping the inside roof and a jagged piece of plastic sticking out sliced his middle finger. When I told the course they said I should have asked someone working there to wipe down the cart. There was no one around to ask which is why we did it ourselves. Then he said we should have used a towel which we did and my son's finger was still sliced open. I asked him to comp my son's golf and he said "No I can't do that.". He acted like it was our fault my son's ger got sliced open on their cart. read more

BRUCE HILLS ROBBED ME. $25 for 9 holes and this course is an absolute shithole. Grass isn't cut and every hole is on top of each other. The only good thing about this course is the workers and the greens. But even then the greens are fast af. 1/5 do NOT recommend, this is the worst course I've ever played at. Disclaimer: I have never left a yelp review before but this course is so bad and overpriced that I felt the need. Edit: After finishing up 9 holes at the worst golf course I've ever played at, I was happy to at least be able to a dismantle a delicious hotdog... oh wait they were even sold out of glizzys. read more

Last year I came here while having a tee time booked and they turned me away after saying they were overbooked. The following year they let us play but I've never seen so many golfers on a course. Every hole we come to is 2 groups backed up and it's taken 3.5 hours to play 9 holes. read more

Bruce Hills is a fun course. I was with a foursome from work on a Saturday morning and the front was crowded. As we were out to just have fun it was not a huge deal. The course is interesting and challenging. It has water, it has hills, it has woods, and it makes you use all of your clubs. By the time we got to the back it was clear sailing and we played better. Everyone in our group had a good time, and they all said they would come back again. read more

A couple of months ago I bought two group golfer coupons for Bruce Hills one of them i used and the other one was going to expire. The guy behind the counter said even if it expires the group golfer coupon is worth what you paid for it which was $18 Today when I went back to play with my son they would not let me use the group golfer coupon and said that has no value as it is expire and they actually ended up keeping it. The guy did not know how the group golfer works I like to play at local golf course but this has really put me off They did give s little discount of $3 I won't go back and will tell my friends to avoid this place read more

Such a friendly staff, and the course (not long enough) was in good shape. They put on a lot of cost friendly outings here, $35 for 18, a beer, hot dog and chips at the turn, with a NY Strip dinner after the outing. The steak should be switched to something else, not that good, but everything else was great! read more

Just your average golf course. I've been there twice knowing that it was just average but the second time I was there the golf pro told me it was wide open and it was easy to play today so I went there knowing that it was every other courses busy except for Bruce Hills because the golf pro said it wasn't and I went there and it was packed. Knowing that it was so packed I left not asking for anything in return but calling saying that I didn't appreciate them being untruthful about it being busy and he gave me A very rude response and terrible attitude back at me while I was being semi-calm about the situation. Don't go there, it's a waste of money there are plenty of other golf courses in the area that are much better value read more

I haven't been to this course in a couple years. I went today with some friends and I was kind of disappointed. The course used to be in really good shape. The tee boxes need a lot of work and so do the fairways. There was no beer cart girl or even food or mixed drinks you could get at the turn. It used to be worth the 35 minute drive to golf their but now I would second guess it. I hope things change at this course because it's a really nice course just needs a lot of TLC. Getting together with a group of friends is always a fun time out. After golfing 9 holes a couple ladies needed to use the restroom in the club house and the staff locked the doors and told us we couldn't go in and use their facility. Needless to say we had to drive our carts to the back of the course and use a port-a-john. We'll never golf there again. read more

Bruce hills is tucked away down 34 mile and Vandyke. We loved the layout and found it had a good restaurant after play. There's no signs on VanDyke where to turn, so make sure you have a mapquest or gps. It's reasonably priced and the course is very well maintained. read more
