It was a shotgun start, 4 person team event. We started on hole 16 and when we got to hole 8, he told my team that we needed to pick up the pace and that we were 2 holes behind pace. This was absolutely not true as we could always see the group ahead of us. We got to hole 9 and he turned the sprinklers on at the tee box and told us we had to skip the hole. He accompanied us to the hole 10 tee box, where we passed the group ahead of us because they were still finishing 9. As soon as he left us he went back and turned the sprinklers off. So, now we had to wait. It completely ruined the experience for us to the point that we could not enjoy the remainder of the day. I thought he targeted us, but when I spoke to staff members, they said he ruins everyone's time here. They said that he ruins their tips because he upsets so many people. I have no idea why someone like this would be permitted to work in the hospitality field. This was over a $600 round for my team and we feel completely robbed of the experience. Such a beautiful track and the greens rolled so good, but once someone upsets us that much, its hard to relax and focus back on the game. Especially when he kept poking around. I reported the interaction and the pro shop manager said to ga back and play 9, but we were so over it by then. I have reached through the website to see if they will make it up to us. Have yet to receive a response. Very disappointed...

For being an old Rite Aid it's very nicely spaced and capacious. 12 full bays along all the sides with trackman systems, waitstaff, full kitchen with a one page menu, and a good time. Also tried the shrimp tacos; 2 tacos for $15... they were decent however two different types of tortillas aren't necessary so I had them bail the corn tortilla and go with the one flour. The shrimp could've been better; they were not well cooked and a bit slimy. The avocado crema was decent. My buds had smash burgers and they said they were decent. The people who work there are great... even sarcastic and funny. Perfect for my type of humor. It does add up a bit but $165 for 3 hours of sim time isn't bad and the systems are nice. "Review #500" :-D…read more October 31, 2024 On Friday October 4th I attended a Beautiful Fall wedding at The Pine Knob Mansion for My Dear and Close friends Phil & Jessica. The main road entrance starts with a welcome sign to Pine Knob Golf Course. The winding road will lead you pass the greens with golfers, then several expensive residential homes. There are two venue banquet buildings called The Carriage and this one called The Pine Knob Mansion. Both have valet parking service at their entrance doors. My photos attached will show how wonderful this place was from start to finish. The ceremony was outside in the Garden Gazebo area overlooking the ski lifts and property of Pine Knob with fold up chairs on the grass area. This venue can accommodate all seasons of the year for many memorable and personal events. The outdoor brick patio was large enough for both cocktail hour after ceremony and again in the evening with a DJ for music and dancing. The Bride and Groom performed their special dances together on it plus with their parents. The wedding and party time continued till midnight! The efficient servers were very attentive when eating the plated sit-down dinner. They also served refill of waters quickly too. The Formal banquet room was very elegant with Chiavari Chairs, along with great lighting. Check out my attached photos of Jess and Phil's special and lovely wedding which expresses it all! The Food was Fantastic and Oh My Deeeelicious along with Great plate presentation! This location can be found on The Knot and has different price packages based on your event for food and desserts. My Friends Phi and Jess opted to bring in their own seasonal desserts with cider and donuts along with mini parfait desserts for that special Fall Style Theme. We stumbled on this place via a Facebook advertisement. We had been trying to find another venue to move to because our current one was not cooperating because of pandemic uncertainty. After talking with Haley in person about our day and what we were looking for our of this place, we absolutely could not pass it up. The only day they had available for the Fall was the day we were going to get married on, September the 11th. Working with Haley throughout our journey to the big day was very easy and we experienced no issues the entire time with any of the planning, coordination with vendors, or anything that kept changing on our end that we needed to communicate with. We were offered a food tasting with our families, then got to have our rehearsal dinner here as well. Even on our big day, we had the ceremony and reception in the same place. On our big day, I was working on a lot of the last minute set up or overviews of the venue while my wife was getting ready. Everything was absolutely perfect, and the staff here kept me as calm as I could have been. The ceremony looked beautiful as well as the reception. All of the coordination was done correctly and efficiently. Our guests who attended the wedding regularly talk about how beautiful it was as well as how great the food was! We could not have asked for a better experience and a better day for our wedding. Very impressed with how efficient and prepared this venue was to host an event.

I had my May 2008 wedding at Paint Creek Country Club and it was the best wedding I've ever…read moreattended (I may be biased, but several other people have agreed that it was an awesome wedding). Our wedding was the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend (great way to save money and it's like a Saturday night wedding since most people have Monday off), we had about 120 people and our ceremony was held outside on the golf course. The first thing that amazed my husband and I was the view from the dining room- one wall is floor to ceiling windows that overlook the golf course, and it is beautiful. The ceremony location is an open area right near the golf course and was a nice simple place to hold the ceremony. The staff provided excellent service - from our initial meeting with the banquet manager to the wait staff on the big day. Leading up to the wedding the manager was helpful in planning our wedding to make sure all the details were set. Upon arriving at the club house on the wedding day, some of the tables were set up incorrectly and the staff immediately fixed them. One of the highlights was the bartenders - some wedding venues won't allow shots, not this place. The booze was flowing - LOTS of shots, giant martini glasses filled with deliciousness, and all the standards - beer, wine, mixed drinks. In looking at different venues, Paint Creek was one of the best values we found. A buffet dinner with two entrees (chicken and roast beef carving station) and the standard salad, rolls, potato, veggies, plus the middle level bar (Captain Morgan, Seagrams, etc. not well and not Grey Goose..), cheese & crackers and veggies as appetizers, and including tax and gratuity and cake cutting was about $50 per person. Adding fancier appetizers was a small addition to the price. This was their Sunday price, so a Saturday night would be a little more expensive. There was no room rental fee or a ceremony fee. Paint Creek has only been doing weddings for about 5+ years and they've started doing more over the past 2-3 years and they are doing a great job. I could not have been more pleased with the food, bar, service and price and would highly recommend this venue to anyone.
