Instead of completing the service as agreed, the driver made multiple unnecessary stops and detours while my vehicle was already hooked up and ready to be transported. The first detour involved the driver attempting to pick up a wrecked vehicle. When I questioned why he was making this additional stop, he explained that he wanted to pick up the vehicle but could not because it did not have another company's sticker on the truck. I asked what that had to do with delivering my vehicle to the destination I had already paid for, but the situation unnecessarily delayed my service. The driver then returned to the tow yard and waited approximately 30 minutes for another customer to retrieve their vehicle. After that, there was an additional delay of approximately 10 minutes while they finished getting the vehicle completely out of the yard. Throughout this entire process, my vehicle remained hooked to the tow truck, despite the fact that I had already paid for the service and the designated time slot. This was one of the most unprofessional towing experiences I have ever encountered. I paid for a simple service: pick up my vehicle and deliver it to the specified location. I did not pay for the driver to make multiple stops, handle other customers' vehicles, or run unrelated errands while my vehicle was in his possession. The repeated delays, unnecessary detours, and excuses were completely unacceptable. If a customer has paid for a pickup and delivery service, that customer should reasonably expect the vehicle to be transported directly and efficiently unless there is a legitimate emergency or safety issue. I have never encountered a tow company that handled a paid tow in this manner. The lack of professionalism and disregard for my time made this an extremely frustrating experience, and I would not recommend this company based on the service I received.
