There's SO MUCH to look at (and probably find if you have the patience and penchant for thrifting) at the Brunswick Waterfront Flea Market. You could get lost here! Treasures of all kinds can be found here: coins, costume jewelry, carnival glass, strange t-shirts, stranger home decor, toys and statues, books and buttons, vintage electronics, old kitchenware, a guitar corner... you could come here every week and find something new (new to you, anyway)! So many friendly and knowledgeable people; I watched one vendor explain to a couple how flea markets worked (she genuinely encouraging them to barter for anything they were interested in). We had a couple vendors tell us that they had lots of stuff 25% to 40% off, just to ask if we were curious. Make it a point to visit here, especially in the winter months when the farmers market is happening at the same time. It makes for a wonderful Saturday morning outing! read more

Brunswick Flea Market is a fun, low-key spot if you like digging for vintage treasures and oddball finds. The space is a little rough around the edges, but the variety of booths, friendly vendors, and easy-to-spend-an-hour browsing vibe make it well worth a stop. read more

I have been a fan of flea markets since I was a kid.. something about rooting around tables of stuff looking for a gem. Despite that, this establishment has always been a bit too junky and stale for a number of years. However things are different recently. My understanding is that the ownership of it changed hands and the improvements have been remarkable. The place seems brighter, cleaner and more interesting with a rejuvenated space and new tenants. We love this Flea Market! It has so many corners of hidden gems. I love vintage electronics, and dishes. I'm only giving it three stars though, because I never have confidence to buy things here. It isn't clear how to make a purchase. Who do you pay? HOW? Card? Cash? Do you haggle prices? I don't know. But I'd love to learn. Perhaps they could post something at the entrance. For newbies to the scene, like myself. As far as COVID shopping goes: it's stated that masks are required. But I saw multiple people inside unmasked. Plus people were not socially distancing from one another. I had a few people literally step on my toes. I'd love to see some gentle reminders and enforcement of these policies. I tried my best to just keep my distance and flash smiles to my neighbors. read more

Sooo many vendors. I went at 4pm on a Sunday, but I'd recommend going earlier since some of the vendors don't stay till 5. There was still a huge selection to choose from and even though the vendor I wanted to buy from wasn't there I was directed to a guy in the back who ended up selling the item to me for a discounted price. Don't be afraid to haggle. Fun place to go on a weekend. Plus they have bathrooms! read more

The Brunswick flea market is one of my all time favorite spots in lower mid-coast Maine. I try to go every time I visit my mom, and this last visit was no exception. The bonus this time was that with an oncoming storm approaching, the flea market visit was our only plan for the day, so I was able to amble and explore with no need to rush on to the next activity. It is silly how excited I was by this opportunity. My favorite vendor is a woman in the back of the main room. Walk past the snack bar on your left to the rear left corner and you will find her. I've bought beautifully unique jewelry and bags from her in the last - this time walking away with a $1 pair of earrings that I am wearing today. Throughout the building there are thousands of books, an awesome collection of kitchen equipment and do dads, an array of quirky lamps, furniture, and decorative items hard to match, and dozens of vendors to choose from. The coffee at the snack bar is a great first stop, and there are clean bathrooms for when your wandering stretches past your bladders capacity. The Brunswick Flea Market is a huge beautiful warehouse building filled with seemingly endless items. Great gift options, for people you love and for when you want to love on yourself a little bit. Lots of parking makes it an easy stop, and being a quick drive away from the Sea Dog Brewery (mmm onion rings!) doesn't hurt it's status as a day trip either. read more

I enjoy going, and though some things certainly are overpriced, I did score a nice turntable last year for what I thought was a very fair price, and the gentleman selling electronics was super to chat with. I also agree 100% with a previous poster who said that at the section to the left when you come in, past the Asian lady, is horrible. Tables and tables if stuff That looks interesting, but my one experience with the guy was getting chewed out by him because I moved a couple of things to look at other stuff that was buried underneath it. nothing says come back, like the seller all upset because you moved a couple of pieces of junk to find something else, unbelievable. He needs to go aside from that, there is a pretty good selection of stuff, if you're looking for old books there are hundreds and hundreds.. The vinyl section is usually outstanding read more

Great indoor flea market in the same complex as the cabot mill antique mall. Flea market has tons of different dealers, but a lot were not open and if they were they wanted you to call them to get a price or you had to track down someone to help you. No prices on anything, so they just invented prices for you. Huge place though in two different rooms. One room is nearly all one dealer with a bunch of stuff, pretty cool and virgin stuff. They also have a restaurant inside too with breakfast sandwiches and lunch. Good variety of merchandise, but prices were a bit higher than other flea markets and nearly the same as antique malls. read more

This place is a complete gem. There's so much I would have bought if I wasn't taking a train and bus back to Philly. Some of the area are small shops, others are table tops, some spots flat out piles. Records, books, regular used items, vintage, collectibles.... You name it, its there. Only open sat and sun, when we went Sunday there were a bunch of closed booths so I'm guessing its slower on Sundays. The warehouse its in is pretty cool read more

I really enjoy this flea market. Especially the toy stall by the food court. I buy all my star trek memorabilia there.

We tend to wander in after visiting the adjacent antique store and usually leave disappointed, but don't want to not stop as you just never know. Everything in this Flea Market is overpriced (usually no price and when you ask, you get the "overprice"). The older gentleman with all of the lamps in the front corner near one of the entrances - Jed maybe is his name - is not a people person - outrageous prices and the woman sitting near him who oversees other booths around is no different. Complete disorganization, except for a couple of booths that are organized. The record guy has the best booth, and there are a couple of nice booths near the snack area. The worst area of all is to the left of the snack area, in the back room, past the "everything is half off" lady that seems to be handled by one older gentleman who says the stuff belongs to a gentleman who has passed (several years ago now). No prices, and God forbid if you want to pick up something to look at it. He will come over, tell you to not touch anything and ask first. Then the price is - surprise - twice the price of other "flea markets". Rude. As. Hell. It's a flea market and you can't always expect clean, good repair or organized but no idea how people can truly rate this as good. Good luck. read more

Gem on Maine coast.....most of the fleas around New England are depositories of junk and debris. This one is a depository for intelligent and interesting objects. It still maintains the element of community and people there really do negotiate. Books and cool antiques mingle with junk making an interesting stew of objects and some slightly wacked out character dealers. Howard Stern is a must to talk to!!! read more
