Even writing this review is hard for me as this is still so new. That said, I am forever grateful for the compassionate care and professionalism that Gary and the team at Ball Funeral Chapel provided during this process. In terms of service, quality and value you just cannot go wrong trusting your loved one with them. I read some of the poor reviews I DO NOT understand the upset at all. Seriously, he was amazing to us. We wanted someone professional, kind, very upfront in terms of cost and logistics and he was all of it. From the very beginning, Gary's approach was nothing short of exemplary. Unlike some other funeral homes we considered, he never once (not. even. once) tried to upsell us on services or push us into making decisions that weren't aligned with our wishes or our budget. In fact, he made it clear that he was there to guide us, not take advantage of our grief, which meant the world to my family. He was always a phone call or an email away, and he was prompt with purposeful response. He helped us navigate the complex process of dealing with the hospital, the VA, and the many other details that we didn't know how to handle. His support allowed us to focus on healing, rather than getting lost in the logistics of it all. Not to disparage other funeral homes, but they seemed to play on folks emotions by hinting that anything else than the diamond package was a stain on our love and dedication to my Dad. Outrageous! I understand that grief affects everyone differently, but if you're looking for someone who is kind, professional, and truly knows his craft, I wholeheartedly recommend Ball Funeral Chapel. Gary and his wife provided my family with the highest level of care and respect, and we will always be grateful for the peace of mind they gave us during the hardest time in our lives. I encourage anyone who needs these services to turn to them for the support and professionalism that you deserve. Thank you again, Gary, for everything.

Yea they're really affordable but the way they treated a family who is grieving was appalling. We went with another funeral home, spent more, but being kind goes a long way.

It doesn't have the look or feel of a funeral home. It is peaceful and luxurious. Two of my friends and I had the opportunity to talk with one of the ladies on staff. She was incredibly friendly. She made us feel very comfortable. The main sitting area was large with a water feature. The sound of the water fall is very relaxing. There is a lot of seating. The chapel is also a nice size. All of the rooms are painted a beautiful neutral color with hints of shimmer and golds. There is a warmth to the rooms. There is a nice kitchen area for the family/guests to eat. I did not see it myself but the two ladies I was with saw it and talked about how amazing it was. The room that the family was in had a flat screen tv and was running pictures of the family. There were also pictures in frames around the room. There was a generous amount of seating. People were sitting in groups talking. Everyone felt comfortable. I can't imagine working in this industry. I have great respect for people who do. The owner of this facility has done an amazing job of creating a wonderful environment and hiring very kind staff members. Both of these make a difficult situation a lot easier.

Well, I was wrong. The owner, Danielle, does not know the laws r/t POA and legal decision-making which cost my loved one's estate thousands of dollars in attorney's fees. She also made changes to the obituary at the request of an individual who did not have the authority to make any decisions. Not only did Danielle change the obituary without my approval, she didn't even have the courtesy to let me know that she made changes. The owner was unprofessional and refused to do the right thing for my loved one who ended up spending 21 days in their care because she refused to "get involved." She had no problem taking my loved one's money. Shameful behavior from a so called "professional" who cares about the people she supposedly cares for in the end. Would never recommend this funeral home to anyone even as a last resort.

My father passed away in Seattle and wanted to be buried with my mom in Pennsylvania. My father's body had to be flown from a funeral home in Seattle to Pittsburgh but they were delayed in sending his body. The late arrival gave the folks at Corba less than a day to prepare my father for the funeral instead of the 1-1/2 days we planned. I was panicked thinking were going to have to change the funeral date, notify everyone, and re-book our travel. Michele and her teamed worked tirelessly to keep to the original funeral date. Michele was very communicative by phone and email throughout the entire process. She coordinated with the florist, the priest, the cemetery, the US Army (my father was a Veteran) and everything went smoothly. I was incredibly impressed with Michele's compassion and professionalism through the entire process and I am grateful to Corba Funeral Home for helping my family during this difficult time.
