Loved the way they had this venue set up for covid restrictions. It worked well. Thanks for the show!

One Eleven East - Grooms room

Super cute venue. My sister just had her wedding reception there. I really enjoyed having the…read moredifferent rooms to split up the activities (dinner, music, drinks, etc). Very spacious and dog friendly (huge plus for my family). The back patio has plenty of seating and a great place to get fresh air. The A/C seemed like it worked the best in the middle room where the musicians were.

5 Stars for a truly beautiful event venue that is filled with white brick, gorgeous wood floors,…read moreelegant spaces, and lots of light! I had the opportunity to attend a wedding at One Eleven East recently and was blown away by this venue. It lent itself beautifully to a 2020 wedding- with such an open, airy aesthetic that you feel compelled to throw up a pic on your IG because you're suddenly at 'influencer-level gorgeous' standing against these white bricks with that fabulous golden-hour lighting. Let's talk about logistics. As a guest, Hutto is definitely not right near Austin, but the Lyft ride wasn't bad at all and the wedding had set up a shuttle bus to get folks to the Austin hotel after the wedding. I'm not sure how many Lyfts or Ubers you'd find if you went searching at 11pm, so the shuttle back was a big plus. The venue itself had two large spaces (one presumably for the ceremony and the other for dinner), with a bar space and an outdoor area (cocktail hour vibes). I didn't see a kitchen, but this wedding had dinner set up as a buffet in the now-empty ceremony room, catered by a BBQ food truck out back. There's an upstairs area for the bridal party to get ready, which presumably has a bathroom (I didn't get up there. I was a +1). The bathroom sitch for guests included a women's room with a couple of stalls and shared sink/mirror space and one single men's room (which caused a bit of a line, but not terrible). Overall, if I was an Auton...ite? Austonian? Anyway, if I lived in Austin, I would absolutely consider this venue. It's minimalist, historic vibe allows you to forgo the unpleasant hotel ballroom pipe-and-drape decor, and you can add a few bits of greenery and call it a day with decor. FABULOUS!

Fantastic staff, happy animals, well-kept facilities...what an incredible day we had. It feels like a dream. Easy day trip outing with the family or as a date- book your animal experiences online like we did at https://www.bluehillsranch.com . The staff was flexible to shift timing of the experiences so we didn't have to wait long in between- they were extremely accommodating and we never felt rushed either. The otter swim/playtime experience was originally what drew us, and it was even better than I'd imagined. Worth every penny! Then we got to feed and pet the capybaras, which were way friendlier than I thought they would be! The babies enjoyed some extra belly rubs too. Bottle feeding the kangaroo was so fun too- little Dundee was SO soft and loved all the pets, even gave us kisses! The giraffes were super friendly and greeted us every time we were nearby; feeding and getting quality time with them was an extra treat. The safari ride tour was also amazing- 5 of us fit comfortably and got to feed/see lots of animals that we wouldn't normally get to experience. We were surprised at how this place wasn't crowded at all in the middle of July when it is peak vacation season, so it really felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. They also have a beautiful main lodge area that is comfortable and welcoming with additional animals to enjoy.

All of the staff were so helpful and kind! A special shoutout to Cheslea who took care of us when we arrived, as well as was our driver for the safari tour! We got upstairs and I could hear a baby crying and conversations in the hallway so once again, I was nervous. However once we got into the room, my worries declined. The room was large and clean, there was a microwave and a refrigerator in the room. I know this is gonna sound odd but the one thing that unappreciated about the room was the hand soap and wasn't the usual bar soap that most hotels provide with the small bottle of lotion, conditioner and shampoo. The bed was comfortable and I didn't hear anything once my head hit the pillow so I sleep well. I will say that the water got hot but the water pressure could use some adjusting. We didn't make it down for breakfast however they do provide one. There is a coffee maker in the room but they also have coffee service in the lobby. The hotel is located near spots to eat, some that you can even walk to if you wanted to. We also came in after hours so the doors lock and you have to use your key card to unlock it, so a little more added security. Over a good stay and if I was in the area I'd stay again.

The hotel staff arranged for free guest access to the YMCA next door if anyone wanted to swim, or free cancellation if that was a deal breaker (it wasn't); so this was a non-issue. Appreciated the option.
