this is the worst location I have ever been to. I only go here when I absolutely do not have a choice . I went through the drive thru and placed my order , I wanted to add another ice cream cone so I asked to try the cherry almond. The worker said we don't do samples at the window, I asked when did this change as I have always been able to see if I liked the flavor prior to choosing it. LOVED this place. Moved up to South Carolina a little over a year ago & had passed by these establishments all over my area but had never stopped to try it- I'm so glad I did today! They do offer samples, you've just got to ask! Worked in my favor considering I'd never been before. Tried the birthday cake flavor & ended up ordering it- definitely my favorite! This is the Bruster's I've visited the most. Seeing that this is a chain, this review will probably be accurate for other locations. In my opinion Bruster's is one of the best places to get ice cream. There is never a long wait and doesn't ever seem to be that busy either. This one is located in Spartanburg and there isn't a lot of other ice cream option. Surprising that it's not much busier. The ice cream here is really good too. I usually get something with chocolate and I'm never let down. The prices are decent too. read more

I've been coming to this location for 15 years and for the the first time my family and I had a bad experience with the staff that was working the closing shift today (3/30/2022) I arrived before closing time (hours Monday threw Thursday are 12pm to 9pm) and 5 minutes before closing time my wife and I as well as my brother in law and my 3 small children were told to order online that they wouldn't take our order at the window and we advised them that what we wanted wasn't available online and very rudely and obnoxiously we were told well your gonna have to go threw the drive through so we did and even then they were annoyed to help us and the manager that I had spoken with on duty didn't seem like she really cared to much and even smirked at me like something was funny about what I was saying I don't know what kind of people or how the owner's Hiring there staff at this specific location but it's apparently it not thought threw very well anyway just thought maybe if the owner may look at this he might like to know how his business is being ran at this specific location!!! read more

I hate when a superior product has to have a poor review because the service and execution is so terrible. That was the case tonight I love Bruster's Ice Cream I really do the butter pecan silky smooth lots of buttery flavor giant pecans the chocolate chunk loads of chocolate wonderful just wonderful all three spoonfuls that I got in my double scoop tonight it was terrible I can't believe that they served this and called it a double scoop it might as well be in a kiddie cone management needs to look into what's going on there and where all the ice cream is going cuz it certainly isn't getting served to the customers never coming back here read more

This is probably my favorite Bruster's location of the three in Spartanburg County. I love the spot it's in; you can walk directly to it after seeing a movie with a date. Good prices and yummy (yet very messy) ice cream. Overall, it's a great Bruster's to treat yourself with after seeing a movie at Carmike Wynnsong 7. read more

For the third time in a row, we have received less product than we should have, and the quality of the ice cream was poor. The first time, the manager gave us replacements. This last time, my husband pick up a waffle bowl which was to have two scoops in it. You would not have believed how small the scoops were. They looked like someone had used a melon ball sized scooper. When this store first opened, we LOVED it. The ice cream was just a step above anything we could buy elsewhere. I can remember the ice cream dripping down my arm because the waffle cone was so full. We didn't mind paying the price because it was that good. We even filled up many punch cards where you got a free cone. If this store is in trouble, then they should step up there service and product. At this rate, they will be closed by Christmas. We are taking our business elsewhere. read more
