Safeguard's service, the way they handle customers, the way they denied my claim 6 different ways for 6 different reasons, to then have only part of it approved, when it was a fully covered reason. Every agent i spoke too, had an attitude, had no will to help, and actually hung up on me a few times. All because the "inspector" who came to inspect my car, didn't actually inspect the tire in question (one of my others was damaged as well, i was a little past the minimum tread.) After two weeks of back and forth, I literally hit the end of my rope, i was at the point where i was about to book a flight to Atlanta. On a last stitch effort, when almost all hope was lost, i called into client relations. I was greeted with a whole different approach then the standard safeguard way of being pissed off. I spoke with a real live human, one with a heart, i didnt think Safeguard employed those. Thomas started off by telling me he wasnt sure what he could do, but at least took another look at the claim. That right there was more than what every other agent told me after seeing the claim was denied. Thomas was immediate to respond to me, and even reached out to give me updates. Thomas should seriously be running safeguard, he was extremely knowledgable about the terms of the warranty, all of Safeguard's products, and even escalated my claim for me, after i tried twice. I still have no idea the outcome of my case, and to be honest, safeguard really has some company wide HR training that needs to happen, but Thomas should be running the place, he actually knows about Safeguard and didnt read off a script. Thomas, i thank you, you went above and beyond on a cold call, and even managed to see that Safeguard's inspector didn't inspect. I hope you get a huge raise. I encourage Safeguard to contact me on this matter.
