However, I was later billed over $6,500, and the firm acknowledged internally that $875 should have been credited back to me due to errors made on their side. That credit was never applied. The paralegal assigned to my case left the firm, and I was not notified. During this time, my case did not move forward and important documents were not filed. When I raised concerns, communication became inconsistent, and I later discovered I was being billed for internal "strategy meetings" that were only needed due to the firm's own mistakes. I eventually had to terminate the representation and seek new counsel to complete the probate. I have requested that the firm honor the credit they documented but have not received it. I am currently pursuing resolution through the State Bar and CAAP. My experience was stressful and expensive. I recommend asking very detailed questions about billing practices and follow-up procedures before hiring this firm for probate work.
