They change their…read morecompany name a lot to avoid lawsuits (a nurse practitioner told me this), so I don't know who they are now. The building is at the Taylorsville Landing next to the 215 fwy at 4700 south. I have MANY problems with these clowns. First of all, the owner told me she was a RN, and had a licence to treat patients without the doctor present. Found out later the only licence she has is a business license. Strike 1. Many times she would put me in a hyperbaric chamber for around 40 minutes and would then go to the other side of the building to do paperwork. I rarely saw the doctor. Actually, to clarify, there were two doctors. Both were named Johnson. They were not related. The first one I met was Dr. Sherman Johnson. He always acted like he was experimenting on me. I told some of my friends and they said he was the pediatrician who murdered Donna Jones. I jokingly mentioned that to him and he became visibly agitated. He told me that he was not a pediatrician and stormed out. I did some Internet research and found out he was. Strike 2. At my next visit I met the other Dr. Johnson. He told me that he was a consultant and specialized in wound care. He was amazing! He was consistent with the care and covered every aspect of my health and lifestyle. He took the other Dr. Johnsons place as medical director right after that. Teri assisted both of them. One day I was being treated for my foot wound by the Sherman Johnson. He said it was the treatment Jeff Johnson ordered, so I felt better. I had been improving with that treatment, so I didn't want any more experiments. I heard a commotion in the building and I recognized that it was Jeff Johnson. I was told by the medical assistant the following week that Jeff was yelling at Teri because an FBI agent had been watching the place on Sundays and said Teri was treating patients without his knowledge. Dr Jeff was angry because his license was at risk and Teri did not have a medical license of any kind. I think Dr. Jeff Johnson quit after that. Then I was told about the Sherman Johnson murder of his girlfriend and that he did not have a contract with Medicare because they refused to work with him after the murder. Strike 3. Just fyi...Sherman and Teri work in nursing homes now... My advice? If your loved one is treated by them, TAKE THEM TO ANOTHER NURSING HOME!

People going into a rehab center each have a different experience. It is a matter of attitude and the stress levels with family and patient and where they are in the treatment process. I know this because I lost a spouse recently who was seriously ill and dying. With Standstone Taylorsville, I was impressed as caring for the ill and dying is very difficult. The spouse ended up in several nursing homes before his death and I got to see first hand how people handled all the stress of caregiving. Also, the food was good at the Sandstone Taylorsville. It was balanced to my diet needs. Not all nursing centers can say that. Thank you for the kindness and tender care. Alice Marlett

Her dinner arrived and it looked like an .89 Banquet frozen dinner from the grocery store. Her room was 60 degrees and the heat can't be adjusted because the thermostat was shared between 3 other rooms and the other rooms were fine. They did say they would go to the basement and see if there was any space heaters they could bring up to her room. I told them I don't think that is advisable since she has very limited mobility and if that heater were to combust or have an issue, she couldn't get out of bed. We are searching for another facility and hoping that one of the other approved facilities will have an opening. Hospitals need to allow you more than 1 hour to choose an acute care facility, and this place needs to be updated on every level!
