Nurses were quick to get the blanket warmer going and thoroughly explain everything and answer my questions. They had a solid little snack variety for a small place while I waited. I also had breakfast at their cafe that opened at 7am. Think hotel buffet breakfast but maybe a touch better. I had biscuits and gravy, bacon, and breakfast potatoes for $7 or so. It was cheap so no complaints for hospital food. It was nice to be able to grab a bite while I waited as well.

My lab results got reported to every facility as .5 when they we're truly 0.05, which I agree is a problem but not near as high and it was from a late night of a few to many drinks. It was how ever reported wrong to my family physician stating ems found me passout drunk. Let me aslo throw in there that the lab results.... same lab that did my alcohol level reported that I tested positive for being pregnant, mind you I am 54yrs old had my tubes tied at 25 and had a full blown oblasion at 40. No babies coming this way..... What a joke and total disapointment they used to be a great hospital. I would not recommend a snake to slither in that facility!!!

They seem to always be renovating, modernizing and improving things which is really great and important. The biggest changes I've noticed include the lobby. They even have a local coffee chain location with eager and helpful baristas which is fun for everyone. I can't think of any complaints and I'm sure I'll be back again at some point. It's great having a nice modern hospital conveniently located close by. :)

At the current age of 76 Dr. Dayana Patera is the Best Doctor I have ever had. I am a professional PhD scientist. She provided us with references to scientific articles as approximate. The office, nurse, and laboratory staff are excellent. She identified the possibility that I could have aggressive prostate cancer when my PSA was 7 and suggested I contact experts in the cancer treatment. After advanced proton radiation treatment or my Stage 1 aggressive cancer at Mayo Clinic, semiannual PSA tests confirm I was cured. When we came to Nebraska six years ago, we became independent residents at Eastmont and had access to selecting healthy foods. My wife previously did not cook some healthy vegetables as she did not like them. My annual blood tests showed that the levels of lipids, etc. were firmly in the healthy range. Currently, I am taking no medications or supplements. Her excellent medical advice and care and being at Eastmont which facilitates exercise and eating healthy was meant that my wife and I are stronger and healthier than we were before returned to Lincoln. My wife who is also a scientist has major health issues when we arrived in Lincoln. Thanks to Dr Patera she is stronger than she was six years ago. The medication she was taking for a mental disorder was recently reduced by 2/3nd. For the first time in a long history of Type 2 diabetes, Dr. Patera got her a continuous glucose blood monitor, which is not considered standard practice. To ensure that she got the best care, Dr. Patera referred her to an endocrinology specialist. After a complete examination, the specialist said he could not improve on Dr. Patera's plan and referred her back to Dr. Patera. My wife's father was cared for by Nebraska Internal Medicine for decades by another doctor. He lived in independent living at Eastmont until he was 103.5 and passed at the age of 104. We believe the other doctors are excellent, as Dr. Patera. This is the first care center where the laboratory for most tests are done on site. We have seen nothing to suggest that the 1 star rating that is posted is accurate.

I was only waited 5 minutes past my scheduled appointment time when I was taken back to the exam room by the nurse. I was the only one in the lobby and was the first appointment of the day. Got the blood pressure, temperature, and what not all done in less than 10 minutes. Then I sat waiting in the exam room for over an hour. It is now 1 hour and 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. As I sat looking around the room I noticed a small framed quote, after reading it I removed it from the wall, placed it on the exam table where I had been sitting and left. Easy to set up an appointment, and when we arrive, they get to us within about 10 minutes. The doctor spend as much time as necessary to talk with us, assess the situation, and just reassure us if needed. They don't order unnecessary tests, but they send us to specialists when it's clear we need one. They have certainly save my life on a couple of occasions. Cannot recommend them highly enough.
