We came here for a Girls Academy College Showcase with my daughter's soccer team. The fields were in great condition, and the location itself is really beautiful. There were quite a few bugs, but overall it was a positive experience. The bathrooms were also well maintained, which was a nice plus. read more

Bryant Park has 2 courses. A Rees Jones design ( Champions) and George Cobb design ( Players). Both were in good condition for the time of year we played. The greens were very good and rolled true and smooth. The Champions is a little more challenging with a few exciting water holes. There is a nice driving range and putting Green. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A really enjoyable place for golf. read more

This is a well managed golf course with all the amenities. We played 9 holes and got a credit for 9 when we return. The sand traps were a little unmaintained, but there has been a lot of rain lately. They give a you a bag of driving range balls before you head out on the front 9. read more

Had the joy of marrying my better half at the Bryan Park Event Center a few months ago, and we could have been happier with the process or the results. Robin, the event coordinator was amazing to work with. She was patient with our endless questions and stresses but quick to offer advice and suggestion on details of the ceremony and reception. I will say, having both the ceremony and event here made things much easier than everyone having to travel between the ceremony and reception to different locations. The venue itself is amazing, and we fell in love with the glass ceiling, because good weather or bad, we still had the feeling of being outdoors, but protected from bad weather or sweltering heat. Decorating the space was entirely up to us, we had a lot of freedom in how we wanted everything to look, and luckily having done this for years Robin has acquired many great decorations that she allowed us to pick through and utilize for our special day. The reception hall was also nice, with plenty of room to spread out. And again, having so many decorations to pick from, we had plenty of candle holders to adorn all of the dining tables and make things look perfect! Having the catering done in house alleviated dresses of a catering company faking through at the last minute. Being right on the golf course, the space also opens up to a great patio and opportunity for plenty of great photography spots. We seriously couldn't be happier with this venue and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking! read more

The Triad has some excellent public golf courses in general, but Bryan Park in Greensboro has consistently been one of the best for decades. Featuring two courses, one a Champions course for more seasoned golfers, and the "Players course" for intermediate skill levels, everything about this places is a well oiled machine. On arrival, there is plenty of parking and it is all completely safe from any errant golf shots. The clubhouse is getting a little old, but still very clean inside and out and attractive looking with lots of stonework. Pro shop staff couldn't be more courteous, and if you live in Greensboro, you get a discount for being a resident. From there you'll get your cart, load up your clubs, and proceed to the starter where if you've arrived sufficiently early, you'll get a complimentary bag of balls to warm up with (irons only, the range is only about 200 yards long). There you'll get a scorecard depending on which course you are playing, my review is for the Players course because I am a bogey golfer on most occasions. The Champions course is truly quite difficult from what I understand, and I simply am not ready for that. The Players course has tee boxes for any skill level, but I would say this is still not a course to take a beginner to learn. The course features lots of sharp doglegs guarded by either trees or large fairway bunkers. There is also plenty of water in play, with a lot of 2nd shots needing to carry water with a mid-iron. Finally, greenside, you can count on several sand traps, some of which a beginner would simply need to pick up out of because they are deep. If you're not at the point where you reliably get the ball into the air and have a decent idea of your various club yardages, it could be a long and expensive day. The course is beautiful. Even in early spring when I played before the fairways can green up and theres a true separation between rough and fair, or green and fringe, it was still picturesque. Lots of manicured features, good landscaping, traps were in fluffy condition with the exception of one fairway bunker which was just clay that I dropped out of. Wind is definitely a factor, as you are lakeside for much of the day. Stop and enjoy the views when it isn't your turn to hit. At the end of the day, I had some difficulties putting. Early season golf is what it is, but some of it was surely my own fault. 93 is a good score here for me, this was a worthy adversary. I only had a light snack at the turn, so can't comment too much on the grill, but my buddy said his hot dogs were fantastic! I enthusiastically recommend Bryan Park for any golfers that have some seasoning under their belt. Best in the area, especially for the price! read more

I planned a charity event at Bryan park and I couldn't say enough wonderful things about the party charity event planner. She went above and beyond for the dinner and reception. She listened to all details and helped even with center pieces! She was wonderful to work with, she always replied back to all emails, phone calls in a timely manner. They let us in early, and even stay late to clean up! They help us raise lots of money for a two families with children battling cancer. We couldn't be more grateful. The golf manager was just as wonderful, planning the event. Planning a golf outing for 150 people is never easy, he was professional and help us every step of the way from helping us with tee times, to lunch and more, if you're planning a wedding, event or celebration I would highly recommend this wonderful ballroom! read more

What a great location. It has over 20 beautiful soccer fields, with turn and well lit areas. The location has awesome facilities and extremely clean bathrooms. There is even a Subway onsite, and food ticks during games. The is plenty of parking, though it can get hectic during large tournaments. The park isn't all that easy to navigate --signage is lacking to say the least. Overall, however, fantastic fields and nicely maintained. read more

I played golf here on the Champions Course on Sunday and had a great time. Beautiful, well-maintained course with great organization and facilities. My review, though, is focused on their customer service. I forgot a cell phone in the golf cart and, by the time I realized my mistake, I was well on my way back home up north. Turning around to pick up the phone would have tacked on 3 hours to an already long trip. Thankfully, though, the pro shop was willing to overnight my phone to me and even called to assure me it had been placed in the mail. That level of service speaks highly of how the course is run and was very much appreciated. read more

Robin at Bryan Park is absolutely phenomenal. She is very invested in her clients and wants them to host successful events and wants all of the guests to have a nice time. So very helpful in every way. In our pre-event meeting, she was very organized and explained things very clearly. As a result, we were able to properly budget for the event and plan accordingly. If you are looking for a modestly priced venue with a fantastic event coordinator that can host a few hundred guests, look no further than Bryan Park. read more

Played 9 holes on the Champions course before a storm ruined the back 9. I was very impressed by the course and the facilities, but i would expect this at a TPC course. Nice views and nice club house and full driving range. The greens play true and the course is very well manicured. I would endorse a round of golf here anytime. It was not very busy since i went late sunday afternoon so i dont know what the crowd here is like, but folks in the south are generally nice however not great at golf.. read more

THIS IS A REVIEW OF THE CHAMPIONS COURSE This place was recommended to me by a marshall at another course (Hillandale) so me and some buddies decided to try it out. Just to give some context, I live about an hour and a half from Bryan Park so I had very high expectations for the place (or else I would not have made the trip). Luckily, Bryan Park did not disappoint. The front nine was nice, but there wasn't anything that would amaze you (or merit an 1.5 hour drive). There were a couple holes that were very nice, but for the most part, nothing that you haven't seen elsewhere. The real fun starts after the turn. The back nine is where the holes start curving around the beautiful lake. Normally any water on a golf course is a bad thing, but the back nine gives you an amazing scenic experience. The water also added a big challenge on several of the holes with hazards going through the fairway and around the greens. My one gripe about this course is the lack of information available on the holes. There were a few holes where water was in the middle of the fairway, but you couldn't see it from the tee. I looked on the score card and it wasn't on their either. In addition, there were holes where you could see water, but there was no way of telling how far it was to reach it (or to get across when you needed). I'm not sure if they have a yardage book for sale, but I think this kind of information would be really useful to first-timers. Ultimately, not enough to take away a star or anything, but just beware if you are going for the first time (their website has hole-by-hole info you could check out). The conditions of the course were very nice. Greens were in great shape and the fairways nice and tight. The rough was deceptively thick, and the bunkers were soft and fluffy. The staff is alright--not bad or anything, but not really friendly or anything either. Finally, the best thing about the course is the price. Twilight (Mon-Fri) is $32 with cart (cart mandatory on Champions)! It feels like such a steal to play at a course this nice for that price (I would probably pay that much just to play the back nine--yeah, it's THAT good). I think the regular price is $55. Even at regular price, it is well worth it. Need to try this course out if you get the chance. read more

The Bryan Park Complex is a place that has a little something for just about everyone. Thise place has 2 championship golf courses, a driving range & practice greens for all the golfers, a huge soccer complex, it has tennis & volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, numerous picnic shelters available for rent, a big playground for the kiddies & is located next to the Lake Townsend Marina for all the fisherman, boaters & kayakers. A great place to spend a saturday afternoon. read more

90 degree rule applied today for fairways and some were impossible due to curbs for even that so be prepared to walk. We played the Champions course prepare to walk a great deal with lots of water and tons of sand traps. Beautiful course. The outdoor services staff was awesome. Loved that the golf fee included range balls. Take plenty of balls as you will need them for sure. Great course. Will play again. Rates were reasonable. read more

This is a great golf course, amazing recovery after the winter kill. Should have a U.S. Open here!

They lost all their fairways. Hardly a blade of grass anywhere in the fairways due to late snow in march killed all the Bermuda grass. I've played it 2x before when it was in great shape and it was a treat to play. But in current condition, they should shut the course down to repair it as its a dog track right now. read more

I have been playing Bryan Park since 1993. It was the first course I played when I moved to the area. I have never seen the Players Course in better shape than today. Money has been spent on fairways and greens and it shows! Bent greens were nicely tended-not too fast not too slow. Staff is warm and attentive. Great value for seniors! Good job to all! read more
