Great course. Affordable, well maintained, nice carts, friendly staff. If your a beginner you shouldn't think twice about coming here. Still good for all levels of play, but really forgiving for new folks as the fairways are wide. Lots of blind holes though, so make sure the group ahead of you have advanced before you tee off so you don't clock anyone. Would highly recommend! read more

This was a beautifully laid out course with pristine fairways. The greens were a little rough and spotty on some holes but overall a great course. The price was great and the staff was extremely nice. I would definitely recommend the hidden gem to all and would play again when back in the area! read more

Six of us Senior Citizens played the course on Feb 15, 2018 and the course attendant was very rude. It started with us getting to the course at 8:45 A. M. for a 9:20 and 9:28 tee time. When we went into the club house to pay, the attendant was rude and said , "We don't open until 9 o'clock." So, we waited until 9:05 to pay. Of course there was already 7 players who had earlier tee times also paying at that time. The attendant then took our money and told us that keys were in the carts. He said nothing at all about a "cart path only" rule for the day. When we came up from the ninth hole toward the club house I needed to get something from my automobile in the parking lot, so I cut across a grassy area to get there. As I was getting out of the cart to open my car door, the attendant was standing in the parking lot and gave us hell for driving the golf cart in the fairway. I told him that I didn't not know about the "golf cart only" rule in effect and that there were no signs at any of the tee boxes. He said," There are signs in the club house and we should have seen them". I said, "well, I'm sorry but I didn't see them". He said, "The cart path only rule means that you stay on the ASPHALT and if you CAN'T do that you can get a rain check for the nine holes you haven't played" and leave the course. I might add that I have been playing golf for more than 40 years and I can say honestly that I didn't see any reason for the "Cart path only" rule for this date. Maybe the 90 degree rule would have been in order on a couple of holes, 16 & 17 where the fairways were so full of earth worn poop it was impossible to even play the ball in those areas. Needless to say, everyone in my group was upset with this attendant's attitude and all six of us have agreed that Quaker Creek Golf Course will no longer be on our schedule. BTW we were from Eden, Archdale, Raleigh, Burlington, Whitsett and Yanceville. read more

Played there today for the first time what a diamond in the rough! Great value will definitely play there again.

I have played at Quaker Creek many times over the years and have always found it to be a well maintained and challenging course until recently. Last week I had the unfortunate luck to step in a hole next to one of the greens and slam into the ground tearing the tendons in my knee, twisting my ankle and bruising my hip. The others in my group who saw me fall had to search for the hole because the grass growing out of it was mowed to the same level as the rest of the grass. When they stuck a club in the hole it was approximately 12 inches deep. Needless to say I had to sit out the last 8 holes. When we got back to the club house I spoke with the attendant and all he said was "sorry about that" while continuing to read his newspaper. He put the paper down when I showed him where the hole was using a fairway diagram on the back of the scorecard. Unfortunately, this has become an all too frequent occurrence around greens where golfers walk and I would recommend that players to be careful, especially around the greens at Quaker Creek. read more
