I called ahead to see if they carried Karl Strauss Amber Lager. They didn't, but they ordered one and had it waiting for me the next day. Super polite and nice. Helped load it into my car. I walked in there to buy lottery tickets, $10 worth on my debit card and I was charged $1 extra. No one charges for debit card purchase unless it is an ATM. on the other hand a credit card is understandable but this guy insisted on charging me, and said you can talk to my owner although he is the owner. I had heard about this legendary place from my brewing buddies and I have to tell you, I was not let down. The selection of beers here is great and this is one of the few places that can actually refill the Co2 for my keg-o-rator at a great price! This place has such bad customer service. Trying to buy a keg and the guy keeps taking customers before when I was there first. Waited 30 min before I said " FUCK IT " and left. If you want to buy a 12 pack your good other then that service is shit !!! Plus over priced. Went to BNS BREWERY in santee instead got a keg and great service was in and out in 10 min. !! read more

Wow! Incredible customer service. I will drive the extra 30 minutes to go here. I called when I first installed my keg in my house. I asked if they did service calls and he said they did but I was out of range for him. He then offered to help me set it up over the phone. Once it was all set up I made the drive to get my kegs from B's Keg Beer. Their prices are incredible and they have such a great selection. Got a keg here. Process was easy enough and they give you a good amount of days to return it. Employee was drinking on the job and obviously intoxicated. Incredibly unprofessional. For future occasions I'll probably spend my money in a more professional establishment. read more

We ordered a keg 1 month in advance for a party that we were having on 10/20. I came in, the day of the party and picked up my keg. They were able to give us the best price, as we were looking around. We picked up the keg with no problems, everyone was very friendly and helped us load it into our car. Fast forward a few hours later, we have the keg sitting in over 90 lbs of ice for a few hours, and when it comes to tapping the keg, it's completely foamy. We try many times, as you always want to get rid of the first few cups. We got to the point, that we were filling pitches with beer, letting them set for a while for the foam to go down, and then using that instead of the actual keg. Once the foam settled, and we tasted the beer, it was so watered down, it almost didn't taste like beer at all. We called the company, and then told us that we could bring the tapper back, with a cup of beer to see what the issue was. Mind you, we are in the middle of a party, had already been drinking, so that was not an option. The guy told us that we did not have enough ice and the beer just wasn't cold enough... so we put another 25 lb bag of ice in, making it over 100 lbs of ice used. That didn't help. We brought the keg back, and it was still half full. The party had over 70 people at it, so we know that everyone would have drank it, if possible. The guy made a comment about it being half full, like I was lying when I explained all of the issues. The reason it was even half full, was because we tried all night to tap it, and had to keep pouring into pitches. I explained my frustration, and the guy was "sympathetic". He explained that he would reach out to the company - and let them know the issues that I was experiencing. He told me "if you wish to purchase again...", I didn't let him continue, because I will not be purchasing from them again. I don't want a full refund, because we did drink some of the beer, and tried to be able to drink all of it. I paid good money for a full keg, that I had to bring back because we could barley use. He tried stating again that we brought it back half full, so we should not get anything, or made it seem that way. who in their right mind, pays good money for something, and returns it barley even used? Not me. I don't feel like they were willing to work with me on everything - he just told me that he can't promise me anything, but he will reach out to be if he hears anything on some type of compensation. The whole process was ridiculous - and I don't recommend them for kegs. read more

We really appreciate these guys. We've been chasing a kegorator co2 leak for a long time and their delivery guy was able to find it and fix it for us. For only $35! We've wasted more money than that on lost co2. (In fact the owner once tried to give us free co2 because he felt bad for us haha) We will be using this company for keg purchases and deliveries going forward. I bought my first keg from B's Lemon Grove in 1985 and, and at the time they had three stores. We have a wet bar in my living from that (according to my wife) needed a kegerator to lower the cost of beer! From the first encounter at the Lemon Grove store (now gone, as is the one in Santee/Lakeside), I've always received excellent advice on brews and equipment. I've also recommended them to friends for special occasions. Top-notch all the way! I've been thru a lot of beers over the years, and today (12/09/2019) I got my favorite local - Karl Strauss Red Trolley, along with a CO2 refill. Got some good advice on future maintenance, too. They've bee down to the main shop in El Cajon for quite a while, but they serve the whole county. I think I've been thru 3 owners, all were great! Great place for anything beer. Best prices on co2. 15 out the door, and they can fill your tank in case you like your nice shiny tank and don't want to exchange for a beat up old one. Plus they actually fill your bottle, not just letting the pressure equalize like other places. The craft cave has a bunch of good beers, and you can make your own 6 pack. We went to B's Kegs for our wedding from on a recommendation from a person in the industry and we were not disappointed. They went above and beyond the call of duty for us. Ryan worked with us for what we wanted and made sure we were not missing anything important such as jockey boxes and the appropriate amount of ice. In fact there was a mixup with the CO2 tank so they drove it all the way out to Vista to our wedding site which saved the day!! So in conclusion i would highly recommend B's kegs.
