Repeat your order. They can't seem to get your order right. The food is always good. Prices may seem high but you get a ton of meat. If they could do a better job at getting the orders right it would be 5 stars. I will admit everytime I go I am ordering 3+ sandwiches at a time read more

These guys have been a reliable place to get a very good sandwich for some time now. I did not know that they had one available in East County too, however. I ordered the Sky Park Sandwich on Wheat. It comes with EverRoast Boar's Head sliced chicken breast, Pepper Jack Cheese, and bacon. You can add more ingredients if you like off a list. I added red onions, tomatoes, and lettuce with oil and vinegar for $13.49 plus tax. You can choose from a little side of macaroni or potato salad. The sandwich was very good, but they did add alfalfa sprouts in the sandwich. There must have been a miscommunication when I said now way to the sprouts. I picked out the most I could. The deli chicken was very tasty and so was the Pepper Jack Cheese. I liked the wheat bread but it was a little on the dry side. I expected it to be a little moister, but it did tasty good. Overall, the sand was good. The service was good, too. The young man did a good job explaining the process and did a good job putting the sandwich together with the exception of the sprouts. The older gent, who I learned was his grandfather, was very friendly. The deli is inside a liquor store. They offer three tables out in front with chairs. read more

The sandwiches were good and the staff was friendly. They were patient with us while looking over the menu. When we went to pay the checkout asked for tip, we chose 15% and the tip calculated 50% and the cashier wouldn't give us a receipt. read more

Best spot for a deli sandwich in the area. Highly recommend the fat bastard sandwich if you're super hungry. If not, it's enough for 2 people. The fat boy special is the smaller version which is my favorite sandwich there. I think all of their sandwiches are really good; however, I only like them on the French roll. When I tried the other breads it wasn't near as good (in my opinion)So if you want my advice, get your sandwich on a toasted roll! The employees are also very nice. Love this spot read more

Came here to grab some beers and stumbled upon a deli. It was me and my wife so we decided to get one sandwich each. She got The jerk sandwich which is everoasted chicken with their in house sauce. I had a bite it was a lot of flavor. Since I love hot Cheetos I got the Hot poppa sandwich. Comes with turkey and hot Cheetos along with fat boys way of sauces and vegetables. my boyfriend and i were in the area and we decided to try something local today. we hopped on yelp and discovered Fatboy's Deli and it was delicious!! it was honestly one of the best deli sandwiches we've ever had and i would recommend anyone local, or just stopping by, to try it. the customer service was great! the lady who prepared our sandwiches was super sweet and she also speaks spanish. the man behind the counter who rang us up was also really kind and he told us to enjoy our food in several occasions. he honestly seemed really proud of his sandwiches. the fat boy special was good. the flavors combined really well together and the bread was nice and soft, and wasn't soggy. it was a really refreshing sandwich to eat. it came with the option to macaroni or potato salad, he chose the macaroni salad and he said it was good. it wasn't too strong and it was a nice, light salad. the italian deluxe was excellent. it was really what i was hoping for in an italian sandwich. i ordered it with onion bread and it sat really well. the sandwich was a bit big for me, but no worries since i can always save the other half. i personally chose the potato salad and it really just is potato salad, nothing too special. the strawberry cheesecake was good, it was a nice, soft, melt in your mouth type of cake. i wasn't the biggest fan of it since the crust did crumble everywhere and it made a bit of a mess, but it was really good. the carrot cake was absolutely delicious. i would definitely recommend this cake to anyone who's there. the whole cake wasn't too sweet, nor was it too plain, and it was completely balanced out. the crème/frosting of the cake wasn't too sweet either, perfect for me. the vibe of the location really was just like a regular deli shop, but it was super nice. the deli shop (Fatboys deli) also serves meat by the pound and it's located inside the liquor so you can definitely grab your self a cold one and enjoy your sandwich on the go! read more

Came here for 1 bottle of bailys for my dad and upon checking out a prompt came up to tip. I said no since the employee literally just ran up 1 item, and he starts complaining to the other employee how "the morning tips are so good but now this afternoon no one's tipping" Rude but whatever. Then my dad calls me saying the bailys tasted weird so he checked the bottle and it expired a year ago! Sorry dad, ill exchange it. Well, they gave me a really hard time, saying alcohol doesn't expire. Bailys has milk, yes it does. Even bailys own site says so. Took forever and more arguing along with a call to the manager just to exchange it. Hopefully they're better at food safety with their sandwiches. read more

Delish sandwiches & rad drink selections! Been going to Fat Boys in North Park for years and when we saw the sign go up for this east county location we were all so excited! Took a while for them to open (for obvious pandemic reasons) but now that they're here we hope they stay!! Already a good wait (30mins) during the lunch hour for sandwiches but definitely great sandwiches. The craft soda selection is not as big as other location, but still decent; plus their chip selection is rad too! Lots of flavors/brands you don't normally see which is awesome!! Got a bacon bagel which is just as it sounds, cream cheese/bacon/bagel. Not really a way to mess that up and luckily they didn't! ABC (avocado bacon cheese) is killer! The only thing is the door you think you should enter (has deli signage) is actually locked. You enter through the liquor store and deli is in back (can't miss it). I actually saw a lady leaving because she thought the door to the deli was locked, but I helped redirect her and man was she happy to try their sandwiches.
