He immediately got mad and start signaling and talking in his language for someone else to come and do my nails. I could tell he was very upset and kind of start mocking me. I felt so belittled by this guy. He asked me to move to another station. A young lady ended up doing my nails. The whole time he started looking at me and talking loudly in their language. She put me under three different lights put on 56 different coats of polish now I've been getting my toes done for a while and this doesn't seem like regular nail polish Time to go ready to pay I asked what's my total she said $35 I said for a polish change that sound like gel prices. The owner then chime in and says no it's not. I know what you mean about the gel I don't like gel either. Faker than a $3 bill. That's probably not license, but I will call the state cosmetology board and check into it.. My friend and I enjoyed a lovely Sunday at the Conrad Spa. We were prompted greeted by Tina and shown around the spa and to our lockers. In the ladies locker room area, there are showers, a sauna, and a steam room. We got there early so we could enjoy the pool and other amenities. Unfortunately, when we arrived there were hotel guests in the pool, including children. That's not all that conducive to relaxing unfortunately so we didn't get in the water at all. Tina also helped us order a lovely lunch from Capitol Grill and took overall very good care of us while we relaxed and waited for our spa appointments. The services: Both of us had nice services but honestly both felt we had had better for various reasons. My esthetician was good and did a very nice job but I had added on a leg scrub. The leg scrub was great but it came At the sacrifice of the hand and wrist massage you might typically get. My friend's service was good but was slow to start and the provider had some clumsiness issues and dropped items on the floor creating loud noises. The only thing that was really "bad" was the temperature of the atrium area/pool and hot tub area. It was HOT in there. It was so warm in there that we just couldn't force ourselves in the hot tub or the sauna/steam room. Tips: 1. there is street parking, which is free on Sundays 2. When you walk in, go closer to the check in desk to the second set of elevators and the spa is on the 6th floor 3. There is cold water and some cold towels in the Gym on the same floor.

I got my pedicure done and issues didn't start until the nail tech couldn't paint a tiny red heart on my big toe after 3 attempts . I said, no worries, I'll go without. I was ok with just the plain polish on just my toes. I got finished at 11:18am and noticed Tommy was having someone else sit in his chair. Confused I spoke up and showed my confirmation. She said oh must've been some mix up or confusion. After 15 minutes of waiting she offered me the man that couldn't paint a heart of my feet to then do my nails, I quickly said no, he can't do the style I want. She said don't worry, I will step in when it's time. Because it was getting late, I agreed. After about 6 minutes I said, you are aware I'm getting gel extensions right? The lady then informed me didn't know how. So I had to sit about 15 minutes. A nice older lady tried to help but she struggled. I have large bubbles under majority of my nails and they're sore. Because of this, the polish is blotchy. The lady who was rude from the beginning stepped in when it was time for the design and she couldn't do a simple heart either. So I said never mind, it's ok. I'll go without. I was then told I was being difficult which confused me because I'm a paying customer. I asked for her to do one final wipe down on my nails before a lot of lent from their towels was stuck to it. She quickly said no, you get what you asked for. I said hey, I love this place, I'm not trying to be rude. I just want them wiped down. So she finished up. Before I left I turned around and said. All of this could've been avoided if Tommy was doing my nails like I requested online. Tommy then waved at me and I left. I hate this because he really is the best.
