Telling people that there is no recording unless given permission by the staff. Then confronts some kids about who gave them permission to record and when they tell him, he says that he is the only one that can give permission. Funny thing was that I was next to the reff that gave those kids permission. I've been going there for years and there is always something with that dude. I think I've had enough of that guys attitude, going somewhere else.

City of Glendale AZ just started up a youth baseball program again after years of hiatus. And it…read moreis as good as it gets. Unless you don't know already in Little League baseball you are held by your geographic boundaries. And Carlos Jr Jr doesn't live in a very good area. So his league kind of sucks. So we looked around and found this so he could play Tee Ball. Well this is a great one. It is run by a pretty organized dude named Mike Davis. The fields are GREEN and CLEAN. Solid solid solid baseball fields. Could honestly rival minor league fields around town. And unlike most little leagues around town that only have Diamondback jerseys, (they sponsor leagues around town but only give different color Dbacks jerseys to the kids) they actually have different teams the kids play on like Pirates or White Sox, Dodgers etc etc. Very cool, because watching the Dbacks play the Dbacks all season sucks. Like I said Little League can't beat these fields. Can't beat the prices even out of city and you don't have to sell stupid candy bars. Yeah Glendale Rocks. And they are actually doing Machine Pitch next year. I haven't seen anyone on the WESTSIDE of town doing that. So if you want your kid to play in a great Tee Ball or Youth baseball league on the WESTSIDE. Skip Little League. They are a joke and head on down to Glendale Parks and Rec. You will thank me for it later. I only wished they did it year round instead of Early Summer. But it is still great.

We have had quite a few short term parents that are no longer with us that have seem to have their own personal issues. We have had nothing but great times, fun, and success at the gym. A small business owners I am not sure how they put up with all the customers. Super proud of them. Mostly because people today are not very kind. We still love the small family atmosphere and that won't be changing anytime soon.

It's got AC, plenty of bench seating and is wide open. They host volleyball, basketball, soccer, football and probably more that I don't know of. So, this summer, I signed her up for private softball lessons at D-BAT with Coach Jayme, and I honestly couldn't be happier with that decision. After just one lesson, my daughter's confidence skyrocketed. She was tracking the ball better, rotating her glove correctly, and finally beginning to understand the fundamentals of catching. In one session with Coach Jayme, she learned more than she had during an entire season of Little League. The biggest change, however, wasn't mechanical. It was her confidence. She enjoyed that first lesson so much that she begged me to sign her up for the week-long softball day camp. As the week went on, I watched her excitement for the game continue to grow. She wasn't just getting better--she was falling in love with softball. As for D-BAT itself, the facility has been excellent. The pro shop is well stocked with softball and baseball equipment, sunglasses, snacks, drinks, and even baseball cards. There are plenty of batting cages available for rentals, lessons, and camps, and everything has felt organized and welcoming every time we've visited. There are also bleachers and sitting areas for parents to watch. We're still new to the softball world, so I don't have years of experience comparing facilities. What I do know is this: My daughter asked where she could get better. We brought her to D-BAT. She left believing she could. As a parent, that's about the highest compliment I can give. We'll definitely be back.

The staff is generally kind and helpful and can answer any questions you may have. I am about the same distance between this dbats and the one in Peoria and prefer this location as they are more consistent. My only gripe is that they seem to always have atleast one or 2 machines down, this last time they had 3. I get it, they get a lot of use and they wear down, still annoying either way. I will continue to come back. I highly recommend a membership if you plan on going atleast once a week, it easily pays for itself.
