Cannot groom aggressive dogs like they say they can. And will charge you $70 to not groom your pet and will not call you back when you ask for a refund or offer to pay half They shaved half his back. They did decent on my other dog. read more

Today we took all three of our dogs to Buubles and bows in Janesville. Basic grooming and nail trimming. See picture below. .

My dogs have been going to Bubbles and Bows for almost 8 years and have never had a problem.... until they got a new owner. Now with the new owners, they are horrible! I will NEVER bring my pet there again, nor will I recommend them to anyone else....EVER. Here's my story, and you can decide if you would ever trust these people with your pet: I took my dogs for their usual grooming, and when I brought them home, one of them immediately started acting strange and wouldn't move much. I could tell he was in pain, because he wouldn't let me touch him on his chest area. I took him to the vet, and it turned out that he had severe razor burns from the groomer. He needed a steroid injection, antibiotics and pain medicine because the area was already infected. After the vet, I called Bubbles and Bows to let them know about this and talked with Josie, the manager. She was completely uncaring and unconcerned that they had injured my dog. She never apologized....not once! She proceeded to tell me that she would let the owner know and that she would have the owner call me. I have called them SEVERAL times asking why the owner hasn't called me, and all I get as a response is "I don't know". My vet bill was $150, and Josie offered me $150 in grooming services as a way to pay me back, but I will never go back there. I feel like they should pay my vet bill since they were the cause. Three weeks later, still no word from the owner. This is the very worst customer service I have ever encountered! Would you want you and your pet to be so undervalued like we were?! We trust our groomers to take the utmost care of our beloved pets, and to appreciate us as their owners, but that simply is not the case here. That is why I urge you to not give these people your business. They simply do not care. On another note. I would never recommend using their boarding services since I have recently learned that they only let the dogs out once a day. No play time, no potty time and certainly no attention from staff. This is horrible care and downright neglect! I rate this place -10 stars! (that's a negative 10). read more

I had my 1 year old Goldendoodle groomed today. This was her 4th time being groomed at Bubbles And Bows. I have always paid $55.00 for her grooming. Today I had the exact thing done and they charged me $83.00. I questioned the price and the groomer (Sam) let me know my dog was a little wiggly during the cut and she took her out for a bathroom break which was $8.00! I let her know what I usually pay and she said $83 is the price. I let her k ow I would not be returning and all she said was she was sorry to hear that and walked away. Bad customer service and very rude. And on top of it all I paid $83.00 for a ridiculous looking haircut on my dog. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS PLACE AGAIN! read more

I love this place. They always do a great job when we take our dogs to get their haircuts. The prices are very fair (around $80 for two dogs). They come home smelling AMAZING and have cute little bows that are tied on their collars. I always get consistent quality from Bubbles and Bows and will continue to have my dogs groomed here! read more

I won a 50$ gift certificate from here. Customer service sucked. Josie(who I had to ask her name) was not personable at all. I'm a newbie which she knew. She explained the length of haircut which I said I didn't want it short. 3 hours later and no call we arrived in the parking lot and waited and still no call. I went in and she was on the register with another employee so I browsed. After 5minutes I had to ask her about my boy... No acknowledging when I came in and her response was an utter.... When my boy came out he was shaved.... Mind you he is part shots an and his hair just needed a trim. Shocked beyond belief yet It was free...I thought! It cost me 60$ more with the flea collar. Fast forward his nail trimming is raggedity and scratching the piss out of us. His tail was trimmed but has long hairs hanging. I will Never go back here and I hope you all heed my words... We lost our last dog 6 years ago and I bought our little guy to be a companion for my husband. I would pay well for great service, but from the start I should have realized my little guy was screwed. read more

The worst place to board your dog!!! The "kennels" are made of ply wood stalls and there is no night time supervision. This place is not equipped to board dogs, picked up my dog early after she had a panic attack and chewed through the wall while unsupervised. read more

We were from out of state. We needed a place to take our dogs for a half day to check out new glarus. Called 2 other places first, one didn't answer , other said "we don't take random dogs". ? Umm.. Ok. So we found this place. They were incredibly friendly, good rates, and very clean inside. Felt very comfortable to leave our two small dogs here. She also told us that they would be in a supervised play area setting throughout day rather than just in kennel most of day. I would definitely recommend this place ! read more

I've been sitting on leaving a review for some time. We were not impressed with the conditions of the kennels or the yard, but made the decision to pay extra for more interaction and trust that these were dog people and they would do their best. Unfortunately we put our plans above our better judgment.When we picked our dog up after six days, we should have had 2-3 bags of food returned to us, we were given 9, several of which had been chewed threw. Our dog was at the vet several days later and had lost over 5lbs, he had also lost his voice from being left in a kennel to bark. I was told by a one employee that, although they had an amazing experience with him that other staff members were uncomfortable with handling him, due to his breed/size. If you want your dog in a concrete cell, left to have their urin/feces hosed down a cement trough, with no interaction or feedings then this is the place for you read more

We took a cocker spaniel here a few years ago when we first moved to town. He came out of here stinky and looked like he'd been dry shaved. His skin was tore up and raw, and his ears were bleeds and scabby. He was shaved naked when we just asked for a cocker cut. Now I see this experience isn't uncommon here. Just moved out to WI and needed a place for my puppy to get groomed. I called 3 different places and the prices were either outrageous or they didn't have an opening for months. I finally found bubbles and bows and they carry the cutest things for your dogs. At REASONABLE prices and they really take the time with your dog. I've gone back twice now and I always love how My puppy looks when I pick him up. They do an awesome job. I highly recommend. read more

We recently boarded our Dogs at this place, and we were very excited about boarding them for the first time. Because we had not boarded our animals before we called several times(5 times in the course of two weeks) to ensure that it was a successful experience. We were told the same price each time we called, and they were very helpful. Worst ever. We boarded our dog which included a "FREE" bath when we picked him they charged us $50.00 for the "FREE" bath and claimed that the free part was the spa. I have no idea what that means and would have never agreed to a $50.00 bath for a short haired bull dog. On top of that they didn't actually do anything but hose him him off. I have finally found a groomer that will clip my aged, blind and diabetic dog. I searched a long time before finding a place I was willing to trust. my first impression was how pleasant they were on the phone. I decided to check out their facility. it was clean, neat and smelled good. I met the groomer and explained my dogs unique needs...he cannot tolerate a long session. I was pleasantly surprised when the groomer immediately understood and proposed a plan to shorten his stay. while there I met several other families as they picked up their pets, some boarded and one owner of a beautifully groomed cat, everyone agreed...Bubbles and Bows gives excellent service! read more
