I have 4 dogs that Bu. Kes and Bows grooms for me. Everytime i go the staff are so cheerful and ask me what kind of cut I want. My liitle teacup yorkis weigh 1.8 pounds and has a history of seizures so they do her first while I wait in the parking lot and bring her out when she is done. Excellent service, excellent job and my dogs love going there. When I went on vacay they came 4 times a day and took care of my dogs. And brought them to doggie daycare! I have lived in the area for only 2 years and have taken all my long hair cats for grooming numerous times. Our golden retriever was sprayed by a skunk early this morning so I brought him in to B&B hoping they had an open grooming appointment available. Toni was very accommodating and was genuinely excited to take him in right away to clean him up. She used their new micro-bubble treatment that made the skunk smell disappear. We took our Chorkie, Stevie, here last minute. We were from Minneapolis, and choosing a new place for him was scary. We showed the groomer a picture, and he turned out so cute! He was even cuter than how a big city groomer made him. He came out with a bandana, and was not even stressed. The women here did an amazing job with him, and with customer service to us. I'd take him back anytime. read more

I am appalled at Bubbles and Bows. I have bought my Shi Tzu there for 10 years. The last two times we bought her there they charged us $10 more than usual--they said she was getting older and hard to groom. Also the girl that groomed her was no longer there and they also had all new groomers that were being trained in. When I questioned the owner she said if I had a problem go some place else, which I have. They also got hair in her eye by not clipping it close enough. She got an infection in the eye and has lost the vision in the eye. I spent nearly $800 trying to save the eye. The owner is not the kind of person who should own a facility for animals if she can't admit when they made a mistake. Steer clear of this place. They have no loyalty or sympathy. read more

Juice loves going to Bubbles and Bows where she gets pampered by Jordan, who is amazing! Jordan greets us with a huge smile and hug and treats every pet like it is her own. Toni and her employees are super friendly and happy. We are fortunate to have such a beautiful facility in Northern Minnesota. I would highly recommend their services. read more

Our dog, Sammy, had never been in a kennel before and we were really nervous about bringing her to one. We did not need to be nervous. They trimmed her nails (an additional service which was convenient), washed her bed (without being asked to), and we think she was also brushed. She was able to play with lots of dogs and fell asleep within 5 minutes on the drive back home. She even wagged her tail as one of the employees was clocking out, obviously happy to see her and associating good feelings toward that employee. (Maybe she played with Sammy or fed her?) either way, Sammy was treated how we would want her to be treated and put all of our minds at ease. It's nice to know if we are visiting family, that she has a place to stay. Side note: Sam's nails were too long (our fault), so her nail split and she had to go inside from playing to get her paw bandaged up. One of the employees felt bad she was stuck inside, all alone, and brought in a few dogs to play with her. It's the little things. read more

I took my grand dog in for a bath today. We have a state wide mask mandate which has made me more comfortable leaving my home. There were the owner and at least six employees not wearing masks. The owner stated it was a safety issue , dogs attack people wearing masks. She also stated the virus will go away after the election cause it's all political. Obviously groomers are not exempt from the mask mandate and I will never go here again since they value a political stance over public health. read more

We have brought our dog here several times for boarding. Most of those times, I was able to reserve her spot last minute (once even the day before a holiday because of a last minute cancellation).. She gets lots of love and attention, her nails trimmed, and I never have to worry about her being taken care of! She also seems to make lots of friends during her stay! Our dog has had his whiskers cut before by a groomer so now we always inform the groomers that we do NOT want our dog's whiskers cut. We are in Grand Rapids for a family emergency and brought Jordi in to B&B for grooming. We clearly stated our preferences but the person who did the intake said some people like the whiskers cut and we said not us. She said fine yet when we picked Jordi up later that day his whiskers were gone. And just like the previous time this occurred he is somewhat disoriented and confused and super-clingy. I was pretty outraged and asked for my money back. The owner came out and made the excuse that there's nothing wrong with cutting the dogs whiskers. I stormed out after asking for a refund and getting no response. We returned today after speaking with our vet to confirm what we knew. We asked for a refund and were handed $20 of the $50 we had been charged. Don't endanger your pet by going to this place. It seems that not only are they unaware of dogs' anatomy they are clueless about customer service. Sorry Jordi. read more

We have taken our dogs here numerous times for grooming and for obedience training. My mom has taken her dogs here for many years for grooming. The staff are always very friendly and knowledgeable. They genuinely love animals and like their jobs. I would not flinch to board my dogs here if they needed it. I love Toni and Linda and all their staff! read more

My dog was recently groomed here. I was told it would take 3 hours. It took 4 1/2 hours and I was charged $106. Never have I been charged that much for my dog. His legs were matted so I was charged an extra $25. He had been groomed six weeks ago so it wasn't as if I let him go too long. Looking at his cut for $106 I should be happy with the cut at the very least. He has many uneven pieces that I will need to trim off myself to even out. Needless to say, I will not be back! And beware: if you want to use a debit or credit card you will be charged an extra 3%. Ridiculous!!!! read more
