Wanted an inside and out car wash. Have an suv last time there it cost $70. This time I was told $70 is for a car not an suv. I paid $30 for the wash $40.00 for vaccum and $15 to clean the mats. They did not vacuum out the holders did not wipe the dash or clean the inside windows. Have been a long time customer. Every time I go there the price is more expensive. Way too expensive. No prices available so you end up dealing with a guy who has a pamphlet and checking off boxes. Ended up being charged $1,800 for an exterior and interior cleaning and polishings. Did they do a good job, yes, was it worth $1,800 for a 9 year old vehicle, absolutely no. Ask for the prices before they hand you the pamphlet and you pick up your vehicle. Priced out other detailers, and yes you can get the same work done for at least half the price. I walked through the charges with the GM, who basically said that was a fair price. Fooled me once. My bad. I didnt realize they were under new ownership, last time i had the same work done at a diferent location pre covid and it was less than half the price. read more

Ok so I show up at 4. Sunny day no one else was there. The mgr came to my door and after telling me that it was going to be 125 I wanted to peel out of there , but I did it. Car wash and light vacuum and dusting. FOR A 125 $$ while I was waiting for my Vintage beemer to come through There was a lady there complaining about price vs the work. I should hand seen a red flag at that point So I found they were closing and my car came out. It looked great actually. So I drove off. But when I checked there was some missed areas, but I had this nagging negative feeling. It came back to price. I WAS NOT SHOWN ANY price menu or any choices other than ,$ 125. I think they wanted to get out of there. I was the last one through. I called the next day and a really nice lady said to just go back and I would be taken care of. I went back Sunday and they were closed so I went to the Chinook location and the manager came out and talked to me. He was also impossible. That's when i first saw this menu of choices. He's pointing at this on the menu and that on the menu. Arguing with me. As a customer service trainer and marketer I would suggest you have prices posted on the menu board outside and get rid of these rude salesman.. Absolutely worst experience I've ever had at a detailer. Not only did I have to take it back to get the surfaces they didn't even touch cleaned, I gave explicit instructions to not wash the inside of my rear window because my now deceased dogs nose prints were still there and I wanted to preserve the memory... well they washed the memory away, didn't clean the car, and threw out my parkade FOB that I had to get them to search through the garbage to find. As they finally found the FOB, I noticed an Elmo sticker on a window that had made it past their wash TWICE. As I'm writing this, I'm now noticing even more not cleaned. They charge a premium for WHAT?! Destroying memories and leaving the car dirty after two "thorough" cleans?? Worst place ever, if I could give negative stars I would. Way too much money to have a still dirty car and my dogs memory destroyed. This is a cautionary story. I received a gift certificate for $100.00 to Bubbles car wash. I went to use the gift certificate at their McLeod Trail store. I told the manager that I would like to use the gift certificate towards one of their monthly wash packages and would pay the extra amount for a 4 monthly package of washes. I was informed that I could not use the gift card in conjunction with their monthly wash packages. I read to the manager exactly what it said on the back of their gift card; "Terms and Conditions Treat this Bubbles Card like cash. This card may only be used for purchases at participating Bubbles Car Wash locations. this card is non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash." I did not understand why It could not be used for a car wash package especially as I wanted no cash back and in fact, was going to add to the purchase. The manager said he understood how it sounds but that was his instruction from the management. He then proceeded to call two different managers in the head office in Edmonton and was told to not allow me to use this Gift card as partial payment for a package. I would suggest never to purchase one of their gift cards and buyer beware at this awful business. read more

I took my car in, before I arrived I called to make sure there was no wait to get service, in the 5 minutes between my call and arrival, suddenly there was a wait. Wasn't too long so I wasn't going to make a big deal out of it. I spoke to a used car quality sales person who tried to pitch me on a 500$ package right off the bat, i accepted the 269.99$ package,, before that I asked how long it would take, as I would only go through with the service as long as it fit in my schedule. The guy told me up to 1 hr. Was fine with me. So we went forward. An hour passes, an hour and 5, 10, 15, then I'm asked to pay, and the guy who tried to upsell me takes my payment. I'm thinking that I wont be there much longer, they take my payment and I go outside and wait for my vehicle, its 20 past the hour, 25 past the hour, 30 past the hour. I go in and speak with the admin and asked how much longer because I needed to be out of there already. She came back and said it would be at least another 20, they aren't done with my car yet. I said I actually needed to head out right away, vehicle done or not (unfortunately they already took my payment). There was some back and forth, I was asked to wait, then come back another day so they could finish the service etc... Finally the admin agreed to go back to the wash bay to speak with the service people. A guy back with her, the same used car salesman who tried to upsell and also misquoted the time frame to complete the service, and had given me no communication that things were running behind. He comes up and says "you wanted to talk to me"? Ummm no? I need my car back. Instead of that coming out of my mouth I told him I needed to leave a while ago and have to head out. He responds with "you don't have 15 minutes?" I told him I literally don't. He told me to wait... AGAIN!! Because he was going to communicate this to the guys in the wash bay to bring my car around. When he comes back he announces, "you're car will be pulled up in a minute". I thanked him and turned to the door. He stops me dead in my tracks and says, oh... no. Not you. The person sitting in the chair behind you. But yours will be a few minutes behind this one. When my car was pulled up I quickly rush to get into my car as I've been communicating to multiple people I GOTTA GO!!! This guy literally holds my keys hostage on me until he got a blue sheet with my receipt stapled to it. I said I didn't know where I set it down, and he literally walks the fuck away from muttering something about policy. I followed him back inside side pissed off, yelling that HE TOOK MY PAYMENT, HE KNOWS I PAID, I HAVE TO LEAVE NOW, AND IF THEY WERE STICKLERS FOR POLICY PERHAPS THEY WOULD ALSO SET CORRECT EXPECTATIONS OF PEOPLES TIME! The attitude on his face was categorically no different then 95% of my interactions with them that day, unprofessional. He says nothing but slowly hands me my keys with that same expression on his face. 52 minutes later then what I was quoted it would take to complete the service. And it still wasn't complete. If I used my credit card I would have disputed the charges with my credit card company for services not rendered. read more

Bubbles car wash on McLeod Trail SE and 58th Ave.SE. is a joke. I went to the Bubbles on McLeod Trail at approximately 11:00-11:30 on Friday, May 13th. I feel I paid for a service that I did not receive. My friends offered to clean my car and save my money. In hindsight that's what I should have done. And saved my money. he would have done better job. I have never been disappointed in the past with Bubbles. They always did a great job. I have always paid for the same package so that did not change. The service definitely changed. The manager of 14 yrs disagreed. After my car was done on Friday I sat in it. Let out a deep breath and went back in store and asked the manager to come to my car I asked him why my seats still look like this? He responded, "your package doesn't include seats.I only get quick wipe down. i believe It's the $800 and $900 packages will do that. I will take your car and give it an extra vacuum. Which changed nothing. doubt he did anything. He informed me I need the $500 package to get the salt out or at least the $250 package twice a year. Kept pushing a higher price service. Well I cannot afford a higher priced service. I could not afford this service. This was my treat just for me. I asked what did I get for my 119$+tax. I was told, by the manager, they wipe the dash down and apply Armour All for that nice shiny look and they vacuum. Just a quick Armour All protect and shine rub-down. And leave with leaving marks and crumbs still in my seat. Not even emptying my ashtray. for 119 +tax wasted of $119+ tax that could have gone to a bill or groceries This was my treat I saved up for for months. I am on disability and a fancy car wash was something special and extra I looked forward to. I saved for months To be able to pay for this. The money could have gone to something else. I should have let my friend clean my car. I should have Saved the $ 119 + tax for something else. I feel I wasted my money. I took my car to be cleaned yesterday and it cost me $268 to clean the inside and outside. I arrived home and there was damage to the exterior of the car that had not been there previously. It looks like the brushes may have scratched the back of the car. The scratches appear to be brand new. What I'm most upset about is that the car was cleaned and no they had to have seen the damage but no one said a word about it. I can now add the cost of repairs to the $268. read more

I paid $400 to have my SUV detailed to get it ready to sell. Seemed crazy high but I thought I will get a premium clean that I couldn't do myself. The car was definitely clean but there were areas that when I got home I still had to clean myself. Wish I had just done the whole thing and saved myself hundreds. Service was friendly. However I asked to be called when it was ready for pick up and they did not. After 2 hours I went back and it was sitting in the parking lot, and I was late for another appointment so no time to go back in and ask them to fix the areas I felt were not addressed. read more

Took in my "dog car" doe cleaning this morning. Because of covid I hadn't been for over a year. They were fabulous. The outside is lovely but the the interior is incredible. I got back a perfectly clean vehicle. They got all the nose print art off the windows, the carpet 0f dust, broken dog cookies and hair was gone. I am delighted. Recently I posted a review for Bubbles. I had the exterior of the car done, but didnt do the inside as my budget wouldnt allow for it. The owner of Bubbles once having read my review kindly said they would "show me what they could do" with the inside of my car as well. WOO HOO!!! HOW NICE! So I thought I would review my second experience with Bubbles. I was there on Friday, and was greeted by the same young man who "took my order" before - I explained the free interior ( brought my email from the owner as well) and he pleasantly and quickly agreed. He had mentioned as well that he had read my review. First impressions are lasting - and he is a great asset to the team there. Yelp is certainly a powerful tool for customers and businesses...anyhow... I went inside and dealt with the girl inside, again very friendly and easy to deal with. I made a coffee and had a couple of cookies while I waited for my car to be rejuvenated. After about 10 minutes my car passed through the car wash, while I watched...After a dry down and tire dressing she was all done. How do they do this so fast? Its like a pit crew at a race track - they descend upon your car and git er done....pretty impressive to watch. So my car.,... WOW. It was like my car had gone through a time machine... it was like stepping into a new vehicle - complete with new car scent! All surfaces were clean- and shiny. Tiny cracks and crevices were spotless and details were clearly paid attention to. The glass was spotless and I even had some calcified water marks on the outside of my car that were gone too. When I got home I realized that I likely got comped the 80 dollar package ( they didnt shampoo my rugs - and in all honesty they didnt need them anyway). As I mentioned in my previous review they are not cheap, but like most good things you get what you pay for. I was very fortunate to be given a free cleaning - but even if I had paid I would have been just as impressed. I will be doing the interior of my car a couple of times a year now, based on this experience. It is clear that Bubbles has a formula for thier business - a strong customer service focus, high standards that they dont deviate from and a product that people are happy to pay for. Of all these things the most important to me always is customer service. This is something they understand and do well. Every person I dealt with on both occasions seemed genuinely cheerful. Word of mouth has been proven to be the best advertising - and with the age of the internet all the more powerful. I've had my car washed at Bubbles many times before and it's definitely okay, but it's very very expensive!! Today I decided I would just have it done cheap and cheerful and I asked the manager for the cheapest wash that includes inside and outside. He told me that there were options but what I needed was $120. Yes, $120 for a car wash. I said that's the cheapest??? ... and he replied, no we also have one called The Works that is $60. So it's still $60 to get your car washed inside and out. I was ready to pay the $60 but the manager wanted to assure me that it would just be a very basic job, just a quick wipe inside, around the upholstery and on the windows. But he couldn't really recommend the service or guarantee me that after spending $60 I would have a clean car when they were finished!! Really pushing the $120 package... I decided hell. The only good job they did was the exterior of the vehicle.. The interior of the vehicle a lot of things were missed. Streaks on my windows. They missed garbage. My carpet mats are still dirty. For my birthday my husband treated me to the cleaning, interior and exterior, of my car. We were extremely disappointed. ALL the windows were spotted and when I removed the windshield wipers there was grime still underneath. I have just spent 30 minutes recleaning my windows, inside and out. My husband was told it would take 2 hours, it actually took more than 3 hours. I only have a Toyota Matrix, not a big car by any means. The interior was clean and good. We got a discount of $5 for being early. This was not worth $449.00, the cost of the total package. We will never go back and my friends will make their own decision based on our experience. Bubbles is my go-to for a quick, efficient and thorough clean of my car, inside and out. You can't get a better deal anywhere else for $60 for this quality of clean and promptness of service. I have three young kids and I don't hesitate to take them in with me. The waiting lounge is spacious with a kids area. There are also iPads for you to use while you wait, and the car is done before you know it! With three kids, the car gets filthy quick! I found I always have to go back to have missed areas done. There are less expensive, smaller operators out there. I'll give Bubbles, and Fortune a miss, because I've yet to pick up a vehicle (5 x now: one Matrix, one T100, Subaru Outback twice, and one Mazda 5) that was truly done. I wouldn't recommend anyone going for a detail. I paid $99 for a wash and interior detailing - it was not great when I went to inspect it. The leather seats were wiped down and actually looked worse than when I brought it in. The vinyl had horrible streak marks and several spots were missed. The vacuum job was very poor, I could have done a better job at home. I ended up getting them to re-do the entire truck - which the Manager was happy to do. I would offer the advice that someone do a better QC job on vehicles before handing them back to the customer. read more

My back window had nose prints and I need to re-vacuum the entire vehicle... the wipe down also missed my entire drivers side dash board and I need to re wipe the entire interior... the only thing that came out really clean was the exterior and my floor mats. Was there June 26 2017 my truck come back with a white look on the hood and on roof of the cab you can see the streaks of white run down on the front fenders this was not acceptable as it was not like this before coming there I was told I had to wait till next day till manager was there and they review the tapes. I did get a call next day with in the conversation they didn't see they did anything wrong but he did ask me bring truck down so he can see I did and he then tried to say it was the clear coat well clear coat don't do what it was. I did get a little angry (and who wouldnt) well he did take it an power polished it it come out ok from a distance but still issues polish left all over the place even in the middle of the windshield and this was the best they would do for me not even give me money back on the wash which was not good either. He also said it was a problem with the truck but also said he seen that before is that not a contradiction. So again the little guy has to fight. I have never paid to have my car cleaned out before, but needed it done in a jiffy. Went to Bubbles upon recommendation and first, the guy secretly up sold me. I had looked on line at prices and knew there was a 60$ interior only package which is what I had intended. He showed me two packages saying that the superior one would be the only one that would make a difference in my car - 220$. When I asked about the one closer to 60 or 80 that I saw on line he said the cheapest he had was the 99$ package, not mentioning that that included cleaning the outside - which is basically equivalent to a 30$ touchless car wash. Since there appeared to be no other option I went with that. In the waiting room I overheard another guy catch that he was being charged for the exterior and he got his price down. Seems like common practice for Alex. Then I got my 99$ car back ... and they hadn't even vacuumed the back seat or the trunk! I took it back to them and he said they "missed it". How do you miss the back half of the car? So I went back and waited again. But watching, I saw they were working around the minimal gear I have to store in the back of my car - a small rack and a Tupperwear bin - so I had to have someone go out and tell them to please remove the items and clean under them. Car was cleaned OK. BUT the seats that were shampooed LOOKED WORSE than when I brought the car in. The seats looked good when they were still wet but when they dried there were white and brown stains that weren't there before. Really I think they look worse now. I paid a lot, it was really expensive. Won't go back and won't recommend it. read more

I went to Bubbles Car wash 2 times , first time was in the summer beginning for my SUV to clean all the winter dirt , they recommend a package cost me almost 600 $ , the result was normal , there were lot's of details they miss it and had to show them stains , dirt , water inside the doors etc.. they tried to do some but not all , as after you pay usually no one cares there , second was today , I took my small car VW golf and pay 53 $ with Rain plus package , I was shucked when I saw the car like no difference of the machine wash , water and detergent inside the doors , stains in all windows and the trunk sides full of dirt , the wheels 2 were clean and others no , the others full of the break dust like no one touch them , I am sure I will never go to this place again and will never recommend it to any one , there is no value matching the high price you pay. read more

Weird experience today at Bubbles, I get my SUV washed there about once a month, $49.95, ok not the most affordable but they do a decent job. Today when I get back to the office I noticed that the front passenger floor mat is missing (big plastic ones that protect the actual carpet floor mat), they take those out when they vacuum, no problem I just drive back and certainly they will find it or take care of the situation. I was wrong? they actually told me that the vehicle had only one floor mat when I drove in...I showed the attendant that the carpet still had the imprints of where the format was, still no, only 1 floor mat when I drove in this morning. Hey I understand, you guys are busy take the floor mat out possibly put it back in the wrong car stuff like that happens, no big deal, I am not particularly attached to this floor mat. Even called my wife thinking I was crazy and maybe she took one of for some reason, but no, turns out Bubbles lost a floor mat and did not do the right thing when they had the opportunity.
