Keep driving. We love Buc-ee's. Not this one. I don't know what barrel was scraped to find employees to work here. From the lazy bathroom attendant - who snapped at me because I dared to use an adjacent sink whilst she wiped a mirror (that was nowhere near me), to Kim at the registers who snarked at me because I had the audacity to ask for a receipt- including flailing her arms and chastising me for not asking "loud enough", this is the WORST Buc-ee's we've come across. Dirty bathrooms which I did not think was possible at a Buc-ee's, long lines because they don't have enough rude people to staff the registers, and you'll be waiting 5 to 10 minutes for chicken sandwich. Just don't.
It was like fifty Key West style businesses jammed into one massive warehouse with a beaver named Bucky as the mascot prominently positioned at the front doors welcoming every visitor. Made it through hundreds of big bodies getting a few elbows on the way to the wall of World Famous Beef Jerky with ghost pepper, boheman garlic, teriyaki and jalapeno honey with prices ranging frim $5 - $15 per bag. Full operational kitchen serving hot plates of burritos, beef, tacos, chicken and pastry. Lots of Buc-ee's logo clothing and gift type attire. The parking lot was difficult to find a space so had to park a bit out by the gas station. They also offer a car wash. Spent about half an hour here but had to get back on the road. This place is definitely a whole day event.
Fill-er up?? Need gas? Need food and drink? Gotta use the bathroom? Looking for souvenirs? Need snacks for the road? Really NEED coffee?? If your answer is a resounding "Yes" to all of the above, especially coffee, then Buc-ee's is your one stop shop of choice. My partner (who's been to a Buc-cee's in Texas)and I ventured to this location after disembarking our cruise ship in Port Canaveral; it was about a 1 hour drive North. Interestingly enough, we discovered this location via YouTube vlogger/channel, "wrightdownmainstreet". She regularly posts vlogs about Disney World, and while looking thru her videos we found a posted vlog about this location. As expected, this location is enormous. Really, it is. I think this is probably the largest gas station I have ever been to. I thought it was pretty awesome they basically had all the needs a driver would want, aside from gas: coffee, drinks, snacks, sweets, warm food, souvenirs, clothes, etc. The snacks and products are their own, and I was impressed with the wide variety of snacks/chips/candies, etc. We took our time perusing the store, as we couldn't check into our Disney World Hotel (Old Key West, see my review!) until later in the afternoon. I estimate we spent over an hour browsing and just carefully looking throughout the store.....especially the snack section and hot food (grab and go section). In the end, we got snacks for the road and room, soda, water, coffee, and brisket wraps. The wrap was good, though I would want definitely want to try other food items on a future visit to any Buc-ee's on the mainland. BOTTOM LINE A stop worth checking out.....especially if you need gas and snacks and drinks for the road.
**OVERALL REVIEW** Over the course of years since this location opened, I have visited Buc-ee's numerous times, stocking up on food, t-shirts, and miscellaneous paraphernalia doning the logo featuring Bucky the Beaver. Tangeant note: The most popular t-shirt from Pro-Wrestling Tees is a charicature of Bucky the Beaver featuring Ruby Soho (a.k.a. Ruby Riot). Throughout those years visiting Buc-ee's AND being a Yelp Elite, I have not written a review on them... until now. It is evident by my high-recommendational tone, this location is going to get five-out-of-five-star rating. Let me detail you, why. Though an address is provided, Buc-ee's located in Daytona Beach is one exit north of the exit that has the Daytona Speedway just eastward of I-95. Their sign, a side-view of Bucky the Beaver, is easily viewable from the road. You'll know to make your exit along with the numerous billboards leading up to it. At one time, this Buc-ee's was "the biggest in the United States." That claim can no longer be said, but it should be known that whenever a new Buc-ee's location opens, it always seems to be "the biggest" until the next one opens. On the outside, Buc-ee's lives up to its roots in Texas, because "everything is bigger in Texas" right? There are 104 gas pumps for civilian drivers as commercial trucks are no longer allowed to stay at Buc-ee's thanks to the number of disrespectful truck drivers causing a ruckus. And plenty of people can enjoy Buc-ee's as there are 700 to 750 parking spaces. With all the meat you'll be eating, it should be fine to add a couple more steps sitting afar from the store. If you never been to a Buc-ee's before, you'll be greeted by the strong, delicious scent of brisket. Buc-ee's will go through up to 200 whole briskets a day. That is a lot of briskets sandwiches. And that is just the brisket. There is chicken, beef, and other kinds of cooked meat made into sandwiches and tacos and such. Kolaches are of numerous flavors including a dessert one. Let's not forget the nuts and fudge and everything else in between. In short, there is so much Buc-ee's branded food, freshly made from their deli, bakery, and meat departments or pre-packaged in their grocery section. Sidenote: do not sleep on the Buc-ee's Nuggies and Beaver Nuggets. And to end this review, I have to push their claim of having the cleanest restrooms of any gas station ever. Buc-ee's lives up to their name as the restroom always has at least two janitors on staff for each restroom to clean the over 80 restroom stalls. Those janitors are like ninjas. Once you step out, they swoop in to clean. It also helps each stall has a red light/green light letting people know when one is occupied or not. I could go on-and-on-and-on on why this Buc-ee's gets a five-star rating, but I will simply give you my personal positive insight. The food was always delicious, the service was always kind, and I have bought so many physical items here, specifically t-shirts. And guess what? I will continue to add more shirts to my Buc-ee's collection. The only thing I can see changing is the frequency I go here. "If" the rumored location in Indrio Rd. opens up, it takes me less time to drive south to Fort Pierce than it does for me to drive north to Daytona Beach. Still, that does not take away that Buc-ee's in Daytona Beach is the first Buc-ee's I been to, and it made such an impact that I would purposely make the drive north just to go here.
Buc-ee's is a must stop anytime you pass by. It's is truly a retail wonder but has something for everyone. First, if you're traveling, it's a great place for reasonably priced gas. There is always a great place for pets to stop, and the bathrooms inside are the cleanest you'll find anywhere. This particular location in Daytona has a car wash as well. They are masters at promoting themselves and have brilliantly themed gifts. Whether it's clothing, hats, toys, decor, it's all immense fun. The food is not gas station food. They actually have some really nice BBQ, sandwich and bakery items along with their own candy and snacks. These places are so huge and so fun, it's typically considered an entertainment stop during the day. If you haven't been, you have to stop by, and the Buc-ee's is one of the best.
Besides having a whole lot of gas pumps. Going in the store and shopping is great Lots of knick knacks. Lots of food, snacks, jerky, and don't forget the fresh bbq- pulled pork and briskets. The chicken and fries are pretty good. Lots of fudge and dessert. Can miss shopping buccee's seasonal shirts and clothing. The bathroom is really clean. Be aware - you will end up spending more money inside than the gas pumps.
Daytona Beach was very busy this Memorial Day weekend so it was not a good time to try the Buc-ee's on LPGA Blvd. Kept seeing those funny Buc-ees billboards on the side of i95. Took a while to find a parking spot then got a picture with Bucky the Beaver before going inside the store. Checked out the clothes and the food area smelled wonderful but still too crowded to have fun. Interesting store and will visit the other one in St Augustine after the holiday.
While driving back to New Jersey from Miami, we kept seeing Buc ee's billboards all across Florida. My co driver (aka my wife) looked it up, and we both decided, "Why not check out another famous highway attraction? Turns out--it's a big deal in this part of the country. The place is huge. They have 20+ gas pumps, a car wash, and a massive general store meets fast food setup. Inside, you'll find everything: tourist souvenirs, merch, clothes, toys, magnets--you name it. The whole store felt lively, busy, and well-run. Food Section : Honestly, their food area alone could compete with any major fast food chain. So many options, and everything looked fresh. I tried their fries, a chicken burger, and a burrito. All of it was hot and ready on their warming station, and items were flying off the counter quickly. The burrito was really good (or maybe we were just starving!), haha. We also picked up a Buc ee's groundhog soft toy and a shot glass. Filled up the tank and were ready for another 300+ miles. PS: I have to mention their bathrooms--they were excellent. Huge restroom area, super clean, and well-maintained.
--Location/Parking-- Located off between Jacksonville and Orlando. This Buc-ee is right off the highway. Easy to get into. You don't turn directly into Buc-ee. You have to make several left turn signals to enter. --Ambience-- Big and bold with a beaver mascot. Restroom lines were long, but the walk from the store to the pump was not as big as some of the other super Buc-ee --Service/Staff-- Quick chat with the staff that got me in and out quickly. --Products-- Usual gas and coffee, sometimes a restroom break. --Capacity-- Capacity can hold over 200 plus people. Plenty of gas pumps --Overall-- Recommended if you are in the area and need to fill up.
Every time I stop by the Daytona area I go to this awesome gas station. This is one of the best gas station because there is so much selection of any thing you would like to eat and drink. I chose the sliced brisket and it does taste yummy. I bought a stuff animal for my dog and shirts for the family. The bathrooms are always clean and they have pictures they are selling across the bathroom. I will definitely come back.
I'm a Texas native so when I saw we were going to pass by buc-ees we obviously had to stop in. My number one item I always get is the pulled pork sandwich. Everytime. Ever since I moved to Florida I have been craving some good BBQ and this hit the spot. The food is cheap, gas is cheap (especially right now!!!) and the service is always fast. I know people complain about how many people are in and out of this gas station but you have to admit for how many people there are, you aren't waiting very long to check out. If you have never been, I think it's a must go. Prepare to be amazed what all they carry. If you need something, they got it. I'm a buc-ees fan, what can I say lol
We had never heard of Buc-ee's - they don't exist in Northern California. But my sister-in-law was adamant that on the way to Saint Augustine we would pass right by a Buc-ee's an and it was not to be missed! When we reached Daytona Beach Buc-ee's was right off the highway, we needed a break, so we stopped by. I can't stand crowds and lines - Buc-ee's on a weekend was kind of my kryptonite. It was mobbed with people, it took bobbing and weaving just to move from one area to another. Lots of lines too. To add insult to injury it was flat out pouring going in and coming out! A high point was the food: the sweets and pulled pork sandwich were wonderful. My wife felt the brisket was a little too gristley for her taste. They certainly have a wide variety of inventory, mostly at low prices - obviously a big attraction. And the bathrooms are certainly amazing! For us, overall it was an interesting experience, even though not our cup of tea. But clearly ours is a minority opinion!

Great pitstop just off 95 in Daytona. I was heading south, got off the exit. It was easy off easy on with a little bit of traffic. Loved the gas prices at the 120+ pumps Inside, it was impulse purchasing all the way, baby! Had to grab some beef jerky, a soda, trail mix, yogurt, pretzels, and of course, a Keylime pie pudding. That Keylime pie pudding was delicious. And the bathrooms... It's like your mother just cleaned them clean! I could've spent a long time here, but knowing I had to continue with my trip, it was time to move on Until next time! read more
This was our 4th Buc-ee's location in 2 days. We have been successfully seduced over to the dark side, lol! The merch, the food, the bathrooms (SUPER clean!), the atmosphere, this Buc-ee's is as good as the other 3 we stopped at. Prices are fair, workers are helpful and friendly, and no one is pushy. If you ask for their advice on a food item, they will tell you their favorites, and get excited when you purchase them. Also, 69 cents for a 32 ounce coke?!?! Heck yeah! I enjoy going to this Buc-ee's location. I've been here 2-3 times. The first two were quick stops. Each time I've visited, the employees have always been welcoming. It's busy every time you go, but it didn't seem too crazy when I went early on a Saturday morning. They have just about everything from snacks, meals, gas, car wash, souvenirs. Their merch is great--I love seeing what they have for holiday themes. They even have Buc-ee's party supplies Not sure how often the mascot comes out, but we were there early enough to get pics with him! They also gave us a sticker afterwards Highly recommend getting their roasted pecans and their brisket sandwich. Don't sleep on their bbq sauce. Make it a point to stop here if you are passing Daytona beach ! From gas to snacks to home and camping merchandise , this place is a one stop shop and credit card bill lol. They have amazing hot and cold food , not like a typical gas station either. Snacks or like a Willy wonka selection and hello they have home items like utensils, cute home decor, cooking items etc as well. Literally this place will make you spend a few hundred dollars easily because there is something for everyone and all prices. Bucc-ee's is definitely worth the visit! First of foremost, I can appreciate a well organized business from branding to service, and Buc-ee's has nailed it! We were bored on Sunday after Church and decided to take the drive from East Orlando to Daytona Beach. This time not for the coastal vibes - we wanted Birskett! Delicious flavorful, and moist brisket is what we got! Be aware, this place is busy. From patrons getting gas, car washes, shopping and food, there were people all over. We browsed around the well organized shopping mart before grabbing food. You definitely should leave your wallet at home because there was so much to buy! I appreciate seeing small and local businesses represented on the shelves. There were a lot of natural home goods and plenty of Bucc-ee swag! Now to the good part, the brisket. We ordered brisket macaroni and cheese, brisket sandwiches and the most amazing cinnamon roll. Everything was fresh warm, and it tasted delicious! I was very overwhelmed because there was so much to choose from. There was fudge, Beef jerky of all sorts and flavors, coffee, and Bucky himself was walking around the store taking photos - very overstimulating yet fun all at the same time! Love me some Buc-ee's Food! There are currently 12 Tesla Chargers and they are building more so will easily have over 30 in the incoming weeks. The bathrooms are always spotless and the food is always fresh good! Staff is friendly and has prices are the cheapest that I have ever seen currently it was for regular gas $1.94!!! Ok I've been here before and it's def the place to stop if you're passing by on a road trip. Bathrooms are the cleanest, lots of snack/food choices and gas/Tesla chargers. They have a bakery here and sell BBQ which looked and smelled delicious. I got a few muffins which are super good here. Unfortunately, the place had a bunch of flies today which I didn't see last time. Because of that, we decided to eat elsewhere. Hopefully next time they've solved that issue so I can try the BBQ. read more

I did not take many pictures inside the Bec-ee store. This place is big! They have everything. What I loved the most is they red cooking the food right in front of you. They have many different burritos, tacos, burgers etc. They have all type of different drinks, nuts, chips. They sell items for your house, patio and even gifts. This place was amazing. read more

We're new to the east coast so we had to try Buc-ee's to see what all the fuss was about. The gas here was very cheap- one of the cheapest spots I've seen in Florida. We got some food- the pulled pork sandwich was good. The brisket sandwich was ok but had a dog food aftertaste. Pretty good for the price though. We also got the cherry maple beef jerky- it was flavorless, do not get it. read more

The Disney World of gas stations. When I pulled in, I thought it was absolutely insane. But I realized quickly the traffic kept moving and it was built for the traffic. Long lines at the cash register but still didn't wait more than 10 minutes. The pulled pork sandwiches were like something you would find at a barbecue place down an old clay road that you're leery about driving down and then after you get the food, you realize it was worth it. With that story there's usually good people down that old clay road. All the beef jerky were pretty good. I tried most of them. It was interesting because along the gas pump curb and the fence they had by the swamp. There was over was over 200 feet of fake turf by about 30 feet deep, and dog cans every 20 feet. It was the biggest outdoor dog walking area I've ever seen at a rest area. It was like the best features of the country in a streamline city way. But still a great quality from the country, especially in our food. read more

This was my first Buc-ee's experience. I don't know what their specialty is, but everything I tried was good. Here's what I had: CHERRY ICEE - Refreshing. CLUB MELT - Basically slabs of hot lunch meat with a delicious sauce. CHICKEN TENDERS + FRIES [not pictured] - Tender and flavorful. If we didn't already have dinner plans, I would've gone back for my own order. Definitely overwhelming because there's so much going on and there were people EVERYWHERE. Despite the crowd, everything was clean and organized. The staff was also friendly and helpful to its customers. The lines moved super fast. Impressive. Anytime we're near a Buc-ee's, we MUST stop through. This location in Daytona is pretty big, and was pretty busy - but I think every Buc-ee's I've ever been to, regardless of time or day, has always been pretty busy. Hopefully they'll build more Buc-ee's in Florida, as this one is almost 3 hours away from the Tampa Bay Area and it's the closest one to us. read more

First experience with Buc-ee's was in TX, when I heard there would be one in Florida near where I would be visiting I was elated. So for people who don't see the hype, Buc-ee's is the Costco of 7/11. Its the head honcho of gas stations. They do by the way have tons of gas pumps. You can pump gas and go inside or just go inside. I parked and went in. Warning, you can be in here for awhile. They have everything you can think of and more. Whether it's just a quick snack or basic needs to clothes, swimwear, camping items, etc. Food: I have tried their brisket sandwich which is to die for. I also like their regular subs. I've also had their key lime desserts, their buc-ee's chocolate, jerky and more. Merch: As expected they have their own. You can get t-shirts, shorts, sweaters, pants, keychains and so much more. There's even dog items. Their location is clean, staff friendly and its spacious. You cannot go wrong by making this a vacation spot on your itinerary. read more

Love Buc-ee's. I needed a break, so I drove 40 minutes just to get gas here, and it was the first time I ever got gas at a Buc-ee's! Otherwise, I was here for some snacks under their brand. Love almost all of the dark chocolate ones. Though people rave about the Beaver Nuggets I am one who would take almost any version of the Nug-ees over them. I tried their brisket sandwich this time (not the chopped one), and it was amazing. Best thing about checking out was that the person behind the counter actually noticed the hot sandwich and packed it separately from my chocolate goodies. I pass by this location every week on my way to Orlando and have never reviewed it until today. It is a must see if you have never been to one. First off, everything about this place is supersized. They have about 100 gas pumps and great gas prices. Next, tons of great bathroom stalls, including artwork in there. The store itself is a cross between a supermarket, a deli, a convenience store, a bakery, and a Target store. Also, they are open 24 hours every day. As a result, you can get breakfast, lunch and dinner there. Today I had a medium coffee, tater tots, and a breakfast croissant for less than 8 dollars. I think the best thing I have ever had there was the brisket. Give it a try. read more

Believe the hype. I have friends who live in Texas and always rave about Buc-ee's. I thought the premise sounded nice but didn't understand the magnitude and the sheer size of this gas station. The store aspect is about the size of a grocery store and is filled to the brim with beaver-branded merch, food, and drinks. I tried the pulled pork sandwich and the beaver nuggets and was not disappointed. The sandwich was definitely restaurant quality but at a modest price. Arizona gets its first Buc-ee's next year and I officially cannot wait! read more
My first time at a Buc-ee's. This gas/convenient store is huge. I didn't get a chance to walk through the whole place. I just grabbed food to eat on the road. I tried the garlic flavored pickle chips and loved it. I also enjoyed the Three Meat Sandwich and tater tots. read more

Is it dog friendly inside? I see a sign on the outside to pick up after your dog. But I don't see anything about bringing your dog inside. Just asking to make sure I have a family member outside with my dog while I'm inside. Thanks.

Are there EV chargers here?
I was there approximately one month ago and they are currently working on putting chargers in by the gas pumps. Not sure when it is suppose to be completed but they were working on it.… Read more
