I love Buc-ees! They have their own brand of items that are delicious. They have other popular food brands too. This store is small compared to some of the ones I've gone to in Texas. I always tell ppl pump your gas, leave your car where it's at, go straight to the bathroom, and after that food/shopping. I love picking up cute items in the store that I can't find anywhere else. Pulled pork sandwiches are my favorite with their home made chips. You can order a sandwich and other items if you want something specific. Also the cookie/muffin case is in the back. I'm from Texas and go to Bucees on a regular basis, and this experience coming here was nuts! We were driving to Florida and stopped and it was so busy, but leaving was INSANE! There was a line of over 30 people in the restroom and a line to get in that was half a mile long, literally. There were so many cars in the parking lot it took us over an hour to pull in, not be able to use the facilities and pull out it was like we were leaving an arena for a concert. You could barely walk inside, cars kept cutting each other off driving aggressively and people were arguing in the store. They should really consider conducting traffic because this Buccees is waaaaay too small for the amount of people it pulls in since it looks like it was the only one in the area. As someone who loves Bucees, it would've been better for us to just pass on it and go to a gas station because note to self don't stop at the one in Alabama it was crazy. They really need a good separate area for trailers and big rigs because it seems like those had a big part to do in it as well. If this was my first experience at Bucees, I would never come back again. I only will bc I know this isn't the usual. With children, this was disorienting. read more

I wanna hit all the Buc-ee's on the east coast if and when I can. so of course I stopped here on my way to Florida. Y'all know the deal, if you see a Buc-ee's it's THE gas station to stop at. In fact, I believe the other gas stations call Buc-ee's Daddy..haha. You'll likely never have to wait for a gas pump here or a restroom stall, and as far as gas station meals go their hot food is just beyond compare. If you need a snack, drink, or car games for the kids you will definitely find that as well. Forgot a hostess gift for your relatives that are letting you crash at their place? Your options are all covered. There's just no comparison...it's clean and the employees are friendly to boot. Just be aware, nothing is super cheap here. I always have to mentally prepare and give myself a pep talk before going in, like no, Angie, just because we are here does not mean you need 87 bags of specialty jerky and 23 pounds of fudge. As Texans, we know a good buc-ees. We wanted to just top off our gas tank and then let our kids go potty, but this trip added over 45 mins to our trip because of the lot traffic situation. It is horribly designed with no entrance/exit right off the access road, so everyone has to go into the lot via one random road on the far side of the gas station. Store is crowded and hard to maneuver, but that is expected. I tried to get my kids picture taken with Bucee himself, but he and the lady with him didn't hear us and left even though they were within earshot. We followed him through the crowd to the other side of the store, saw him take pictures with 3 different people, and then attempted to get one. It wasn't even 7 seconds before they started walking off. I let them know I hadn't gotten a picture yet and the lady was rude about it even though she knew we had followed from the other side of the store. Some of the people directing traffic do a poor job and then act like you're supposed to read their minds. I won't be back. read more

Buc-ee's offers great fuel prices, which is certainly a plus. However, most other items tend to be significantly overpriced. The food quality is underwhelming, especially considering the cost. I've always found it curious that they're known for their "smoked" brisket, yet I've never seen a smoker on-site--the brisket tastes comparable to something you might find at a supermarket. That said, Buc-ee's consistently maintains some of the cleanest and most well-kept restrooms I've ever encountered, which is impressive given the high volume of traffic. Natsuki refused, muttering something about "real spice" and stormed off to judge the bakery section. She returned with a brisket sandwich and a look of betrayal--because it was actually good. Yuri wandered the candle aisle, entranced by one labeled "Texas Rain." She held it like it was a sacred artifact, whispering about liminality and scent memory. I just watched them all, smiling, wondering if this moment was scripted. If you're reading this, maybe it was. The bathrooms were so clean it felt like a glitch in reality. I stared at the mirror for a moment too long, half-expecting it to blink back. Instead, it reflected something rare: peace. Buc-ee's was chaotic, yes, but it was also oddly comforting. Sample after sample, tasted every Icee flavor, had some great conversations met some people who were traveling all over the country. The bacon egg and cheese biscuit was freshly prepared- you can see the people making them. But at $4.89 it wasn't too distinguishable from a McDonalds bacon egg and cheese biscuit. I got a smoked turkey and cheese sandwich from the prepackaged food section that clocked in at almost $9 and was mostly bread. It's fun, though, to scoop up a piece of fudge, rice crispie treat, or now, chocolate covered espresso beans. Every single employee who works here is extremely courteous. Bottom line, every time I see a Buc-ees, I'll stop- but I'll try to restrain myself in the foods area. read more

Passing through, we saw signs for Buc-ee's everywhere! Ended up needing some gas and decided to see what it's all about. There are like 40 pumps for gas and it's easy to go in and out. The restrooms are clean and so spacious. We walked around and there is just tons of souvenirs from shirts, toys, kitchen wares, to beef jerky, candy, chips and snacks! The impressive part was the center where they had fresh made sweets and sandwiches. There are a variety of salads, fruit, wraps and hot food. You can also order from a kiosk on the side for tenders, tacos and more. Probably one of the funnest gas station stop ever. read more

I literally made them reopen the locked fitting room 4 times as I kept trying on other shirts. Decided on 2 other sweatshirts and a navy Alabama bucees t shirt. Wow. Now, this isn't my first venture to Buc-ee's but I was really thrown off by this visit. I've seen busy locations before, but wow! Here are some of my (pretty obvious recommendations) -Beaver Nuggets. Yes, the beaver nuggets. Tasty bites of these butter-coated corn puffs that have caramel and sugar. Totally delicous. -A Pulled Pork Sandwich from the BBQ Counter - Homemade Potato chips -Buc-ee's Nug-ees (bold & spicy)- like cheese puffs, only better I could go on and on because they've got jerky, tater tots, fudge and more. Like you could be here awhile. They've got the cleanest bathrooms ever and what seems like a million gas pumps. You've got to check it out at least once. Always love coming to any one of these stores I can find! The food is always good, hot, and fresh. Staff is pretty friendly and there is so much to look at and buy. It seems to me that each time I come here I'm always spending way more than intended, so buyer beware! This location can get pretty crowded but lines are usually never long as there are multiple lines available. I will return as usual because I just can't resist!
