It's usually pretty organized and easy to get around, even during super packed events. My only issue is of course, pricing. Everything is crazy overpriced. If you want more than one drink you can just expect to pay $50. I know this is how all stadiums and venues are now, but it still doesn't make it right!

But am learning. The Arena was very nice and everyone working there was on their game and friendly. It's hard for me to get around since my leg was just amputated but the workers even took us to the elevator and to our seats. I wish all stadiums and arena had employees like these. Nothing better than an exciting boxing match to get the blood flowing. I will definitely come back and next time walking .

The turf is synthetic, and a running track surrounds it, but it's not open to the public. You can come out on Tuesday nights and do track work with the Park Circle Pacers run club, though. Stoney Field is also the site of the Cooper River Bridge Run Kids Run, which is a wonderful family-friendly event held every September. The CRBR Kids Run is sponsored by so many local businesses and offers the kids finisher's medals, shirts, hot dogs, and other goodies. It's a great way to model healthy habits for our next generation. The stadium has plenty of seating and tons of parking, sharing parking with the Joseph Riley (Riverdogs) Park, MUSC, and The Citadel. The roads in this area do flood, so be careful around king tides.

The field is immaculate. Green and freshly cut. The seats are very comfortable. There are benches that aren't quite as comfortable, but no matter where you sit, it is clean and you have a great view. The fanfare is fantastic. From the mascot, to the food, to the band, to the flags waving all around, this is an engaged crowd for our hometown soccer team. The speaker system is crystal clear as well. There are two ticket booths on the east and west side for your convenience (so if you see a long line, just go to the other side). Overall, the stadium offers a great experience. Also, there is plenty of parking and only $5.00 per game to park.

My first time to the new(er) Charleston Battery soccer stadium (that also houses the College of…read moreCharleston soccer games). Fairly standard metal outdoor bleacher seating, although reserved seats (for an increased price) have seats with backs to them. There is a large screen where multiple cameras at times show what is happening, or did happen (especially when a foul is called), on the field. The multiple beer stands and the multiple food trucks are at one end, and unfortunately it was the end of the stadium away from me. Still, we arrived early and had a wood fired pizza ($14 for a medium size) and one cold beer each. There was a good (but loud) band down at the food and beer locations. We were there with a work group, so it was a lively evening, although the Charleston Battery soccer team lost to Charlotte by 3-0. PLEASE NOTE that this stadium moved from Daniel Island, SC and now is at Patriot's Point in Mt. Pleasant.
