We called Buck's after finding them in the Yellow Pages to help come move my piano. We had gotten ourselves into a bind trying to move it ourselves, and left it stuck in the middle of the living room. Buck not only totally came through for us by mobilizing his crew within an hour on a Sunday morning, and the crew sent was top notch! So very professional - they were extremely careful, communicative, and listened to our concerns and did everything to show that they cared as much as we did about our property! Top that with the fact that they were clean, pleasant, friendly and efficient. We couldn't have asked for anything more. They greatly exceeded my expectations. Thank you, guys! P.S. I have an old, immensely heavy upright grand, and when it was moved to our present location, the other piano movers (not Buck's) whined and complained and charged me extra to move it. I was in a stressed out position all my friends backed out on my move on Friday. I had to be out of my old place by midnight,and in my new place on the same day otherwise I would be fined for being past my close of escrow on Top of it I had a 1300 pound safe to move as well as a Hot tub from the backyard.Being last minute all the moving company's where busy including Bucks movers,all his crew's where busy as well, but being a understanding business man he assembled a crew, Had me moved out at the last minute evan brought in a crane to remove the hot tub over the house and charged me less than some movers quoted for just the house move alone... These guys helped me enormously! I have a beautiful, and very large, antique Pump Organ and couldn't find anyone to buy it before closing of escrow on the house we're selling in Simi Valley. The regular moving companies didn't want to touch it because it was just one item, the donation places didn't want it, too heavy, and the antique stores didn't want it because there's no market for it (really?) Bucks Movers took very good care of my stuff and I liked the prompt service, they where able to get my house relocated the very next day. I moved from Santa Barbara to LA they came in packed the few items I still hadn't gotten too. Put cardboard and moving blankets around my glass furniture and used moving blankets around all my other furniture. I have to say I was surprised at how much stuff can fit in one of there trucks. This moving company did an outstanding job! They were flexible with our last minute changes to our moving time. We thought that we'd close on our house Monday morning, but didn't until that afternoon. They had no problem rescheduling our move for Tuesday morning. The movers were on time, very polite, and did a great job. We moved into a 4 bedroom, 2 story house, and it was no problem for them at all. The 2 men were done in 2 hours. We used a couple of guys from Buck's movers recently to pack everything from our house into a 20ft. shipping container. They were fantastic - intelligent, polite and obviously very experienced. We chose Buck's movers pretty much at random from a craigslist ad and got lucky. A month ago we had a piano moved in via crane by Buck's Moving. They were fantastic. Since they were there with the crane, I asked them to take on a major job of disassembling and lifting out a very large, old swim spa. They took that on and completed it in within a day. these guys were definitely proffesionals at what they do, only disaggrement was on the price , a little higher then some of the other companys but in the end it turned out to be worth it once I met the employees and noticed the time they took to handle some of my expensive furniture. these are definitely the guys to go to, if you are willing the pay the price for the all around service read more
