They are all great, caring, and respectful of our needs. The owner is not only the owner, but gets out there and busts his butt for you. How often do you see the owner doing the hard work with his staff and not just supervising. All of his movers are very professional and sweet and I would recommend this moving company to anyone who would ask me. They were with me for 3 full days and the owner was with me the 3 full days too. They even called a storage unit when we had no room left and helped with knowledge of size I would need and told them we will be there. They got everything into the storage unit for us. Huge thank you to this company especially Q and I forgot the other guys name but he came to my house ahead of the move to bring me boxes so I could get a head start on packing, and everyone else that helped us move. They showed up on time day one. They loaded the truck with care and precision, including every single fragile box as I have way too many breakables that I was worried about. The location tracker was amazing and most importantly they showed up to deliver to my house on time no delays. Bringing in all my things it was perfect, even readjusted some furniture a couple of times bc I couldn't make up my mind on how I wanted it placed. I had a small key that was taped to the glass cabinet I have that was accidentally missed when they were removing all the protective bubble wrap and blankets and placed back in the truck with the rest of bubble wrap trash but they went digging through it all and found it. Everything that I have unpacked so far, all my breakables were still intact (I'm talking unicorn figures, eagles, and other glass breakables). My computer screen unfortunately was cracked but they replaced it with the exact one I had which I am so grateful for. With everything that we had to move the cost was well worth it. We were debating on selling everything (furniture wise) and buying new or just moving it and the cost to move came in cheaper than buying new. Thank you Olivia, Aidan, and Tim for helping with our parents hot mess of a move! My siblings and I coordinated the move and we acted as the go between for our parents and mama boy movers. It was not an ideal situation but MBM took everything in stride. They were empathetic, soooo patient, and very kind. There were frustrating moments (not movers fault) and Aidan and Tim had to wait for an hour while it got sorted out...then had to move everything as quickly as possible to try and stay within our not to exceed two hour contract. But then it became very pushy despite me clearly communicating that I was waiting on a couple other bids before making a decision. When texted to say I had decided to go with another mover, the communication devolved even further with them sending me articles about mistakes people make with picking movers and multiple phone calls/texts asking to talk with me about their bid. The Mama Boy Movers legitimately saved my holiday with their quick moving help. I didn't require transportation across the city or across the state... But I did need multiple pieces of heavy furniture moved from one loft to another loft in the same complex. In order to move these pieces of furniture, you couldn't just walk down the stairs with the bed in your hands... You had to hoist each piece through a hole, and then up through another hole in order to complete the job. The four guys that came over were helpful, courteous, professional, and were happy to help with everything I asked of them. These two young men were EXCELLENT and represented the company extremely well!! Key points to share: 1. Communication - Kyle and Ray updated us when they were 45 minutes away and re-updated us when they encountered a minor delay. That was very much appreciated, because companies nowadays rarely do that!!!! 2. Professional - Ray and Kyle were fast, polite, respectful, personable and handled all our belongings from beginning to end with uttermost genuine care. 3. Teamwork - I really enjoyed watching the dynamics between Ray and Kyle, as well as the way the treated my husband and I during the process. They definitely were a great team for our move!!!
