They state that they perform service on lawn equipment as well as yearly tune ups. I took my craftsman weed eater in for an issue with the head. I was then told that they did not have the time to work on it. When I inquired as to why they told me that they do not like the "Craftsman" brand as they feel it is cheap and won't work on them. Then followed up with me buying a STIHL brand. I explained that I only do residential cutting and do not feel the need to buy there $300+ weed eaters. He then told me that he could attempt a fix but it would at least be a week before he could get to me. When I agreed he then changed his mind and said that he would not guarantee the fix and was going to charge me a minimum of $70 to look at it and I would be responsible for any additional parts needed as well as me getting the parts and bringing them in to the store. I politely declined and left. As I was leaving I over heard him telling someone the real reason was that I was "Just a residential customer and not a landscaper with multiple clients." It's just sad that some businesses think this way. They could have gained a customer for life as they appeared to have multiple lawn products that I could use. Oh well. Their loss

I received a text message that the message was received and someone would call me shortly, No call Monday or Tuesday. I called on Wednesday 5/20/2026 and left another message. The service manager called and gave me a couple of excuses as to why he didn't call Monday or Tuesday. I accepted that and was willing to move forward with the service. The service manager told me he would call me on Tuesday 5/26/2026 to schedule the mower pick up. No call Tuesday or Wednesday. I called on Thursday 5/28/2926 and was given an excuse as to why he didn't call me when he said he would. I was still willing to move forward with the service and was given a window for pick up for Friday 5/29/2026. I tried to narrow the window by 1 hour and was told that he could not accommodate that and he would have to call me the following week once he made the route schedule. Since he didn't call me the first or second time he said he would I lost confidence he would do what he said he would do the third time. If he would have told me originally it would be two weeks before he could schedule the pick up I would have accepted that. I feel like their service is not important to their business and would not recommend them for service.

Tempted to get one at the big box stores (Home Depot, Lowes) since they carry big name brands and price deals, but also wanted to find a place that could easily and economically keep it running great, plus repair promptly if ever needed. Grass never waits for a mower issue. After decades of DIY mower service, I've "done my time" on reading big maintenance manuals, removing mower decks, hunting down scarce parts, cleaning/sharpening blades ... Couldn't be more pleased! Purchased a 38" Husqvarna riding mower. Powerful, easy to use, cuts fast and perfectly. They delivered it promptly, showed me all the basics, best yard machine I've ever owned (that includes a prior John Deere tractor). I also have them pick up/return the mower each winter; they do all the work to keep it looking/running like new when I pull it out in the spring. Jim is always friendly and flexible in working the pickup/delivery around my schedule. Strongly advise checking them out even if you're leaning toward the big store mowers. And especially if you're looking for great service to go along with it. My Husqvarna tractor has proven to be a great investment. I don't believe the business has "claimed" their YELP page yet, their phone is 513-844-6700. Ask for Jim!

I feel iwas was taken advantage of being an elderly person , I would carefully look at doing business with this company if you are an elderly person as you could be taken advantage of . I am planning a call to the Ohio attourney Generals office for help in this matter .

His saw was only a few months old (600-700 dollar saw) and had a no spark, no start issue. Since he's been a mechanic for years and works on chain saws as well seen it was not getting spark and took it to Boones for warranty for the coil or whatever it needed. When he got there a technician checked for spark and got none. My father left it there thinking it was under warranty and when he went pick it up 2 weeks later they wanted to charge him 48.00. I went with him to talk to a customer service person and the technician, and the technician confirmed he got no spark when he checked it initially but said at that time his spark tester was faulty. I stated, "so you made a mistake," he said yes, but the customer service rep still made my father pay for the service. He stated the fuel was bad after he smelled it...the fuel in the same container was used by me on my father's second chainsaw, his Husqvarna the day he took it in and had no fuel issues. Especially since it was the expensive premixed fuel he had just purchased at another power tool store in Germantown. I told my father to go ahead and pay it, He said he won't go back there again on matter of principle. I bought 2 chainsaws and blower there, and other chains, seals and such. I will not go back either and believe they were dishonest and an older customer shouldn't be put through the drama. Interestingly right after my father bought his Husqvarna chainsaw the coil did go out, over year ago, he took it to Ness's where he bought it and they fixed it for free, and the coil was bad. I am not an advocate for Ness's near Germantown, but my father now is...they treat customers right at least. Boones states they have over 53 years' experience, I just wonder if that means those dealing with customers, none of them looked over 30, I could be wrong.

That was steep, but I agreed to the work. When I went to pick up my mower, it was clearly not the same mower I brought in. I mentioned that right away, thinking there was a mistake when he went to the back to retrieve my mower. I had a dark green mower, they put a rusted out black mower in my truck. The person who brought this mower out to me wouldn't hear a thing I said, simply said it was the mower that was dropped off. When I got home I checked the serial number and the motor was in fact mine. The deck - not so much. And it was impossible to raise the blade. So unless we were cutting a putting green, this mower was useless. I brought it back, explained again what the issue was and this wasn't my mower. It appears to be my engine placed on a different mower. They took it back to fix it again. I called 4 days later to check on the mower, again met with insistence this was my mower. The person on the phone said they would not "get involved with this" and referred me to "Scott" but he was on vacation to call back the next day. I was unable to due to my schedule so I stopped by on the third day. I asked for Scott in the service area, a nice lady helped me and called him, where I spoke to him on the phone at the shop. He said, "I don't know what to tell you, this is your mower" and basically that I was to take it. I asked for my money back - at this point keep the mower because it isn't worth my aggravation. He said, "That's not going to happen." Ok - so what are you going to do to fix this problem. He asked for my sales receipt for my 5 or 6 year old mower - sorry I don't have such a thing at this point. He then said it was just a Walmart mower (which I believe is where I bought it) and if I look at what they sell, I will see that this is the right mower. I found the same mower that I had online but he insisted that was just an online picture. Walmart also sells this style that he states is mine. He even suggested that my 68 year old mother (who actually did the initial drop off for me) brought the wrong mower in. So she either swapped mine for someone else along the way to the shop or magically found one with the exact same problem mine had - a broken wheel. Really? Or maybe my mother took the mower apart and swapped the deck herself before bringing it in? Yes, all perfectly reasonable explanations. I suggested that maybe while it was being fixed, the technician put it back on a wrong deck? Sounds much more plausible to me. Scott then told me they only ever work on 1 lawn mower at a time, so that explanation was impossible. I find it really hard to believe they only work on 1 mower in their entire shop at a time - but I've never seen them work so I'll humor that level of his ridiculous story. Scott then asked what their motivation would be to change the mower deck. I have no idea - it is possible that it was human error and completely accidental. He won't hear of any such thing. Never mind this mower is the wrong color, rusted and the paint is bubbling where the rust is trying to pop through. None of which was there on my deck. Oh, let's not forget that the handle doesn't fold down over the mower. When it was transported to him, the handle was folded over the mower so the truck bed cover could be closed. If for whatever reason you decide to waste your money at this business, please take a photo of your equipment when you drop it off because who knows what you will get back in return. I dropped my mower off June 22, 2020. It is now August 14 and I still don't have my mower back.
