This the 2nd or third time we came here because their CD rates beat anything we found online …read more.. even the online only banks. It's an hour drive for us but always rather deal with some place that has a physical building and employees you can see vs some online place. I realize those online only places can usually offer better because they dont have to maintain the bank and number of employees. Bottom line is cheak out their cd rates and compare. When you google best rates they dont always show up.

I would not have known unless I had checked because of wanting to take advantage of dealer financing on a small item and was denied credit because of their mistake. When I brought it to their attention they were defensive and arrogant even after I sent them copies of my canceled checks that they had cashed. Their stupidity and disorganization has caused me a great many problems. I would avoid doing business with them . They are backwards in their approach to business and not customer oriented. The worst bank I have ever encountered.

Although some of the issues might not be all their fault, it is still difficult getting ahold of the contact person and ant concrete results. I have had better resultss procurring a box store rebate then getting a legitimate life insurance claim resolved.

We have the Chase app where we can go look at our account at any time. It's easy to get into and easy to navigate. Now, I'm no youngster in banking having banked at a plethora of banks over the last 50 or so years. Chase gets this 5 out of 5 because they are that good.

The ATM sucked up the check, aligned it perfectly, read the amount on the check, asked for confirmation of the amount and even offered a printout of the check image. Amazing. My entire transaction, performed while straddling a running moped, took less than 2 minutes. Also, the staff inside the bank always is fast, friendly and helpful. They don't mind if you forgot to fill out a slip or want your withdrawal in odd denominations.
